Good Evening Ladies,

Bucky is spending a couple of days at the vet's. So on my way home I stopped by Ben Franklin.. It has become a very popular quilters haven. Linda Kay I know where I'm getting your fat quaters. And the baby fabric, Deborah when I get some extra $$ I'm going to pick out some baby prints. All I need is for you to tell what you think you'll be making. Are their any scrapbookers in this group? Beautiful displays, Trisha you make cards lots of neat cards. But they have done away with a lot of crafting stuff like the flower pots and fountains, doll making, some of the really fun crafting things.

Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

Got home to find a box and in it was the most b e a t i ful group of fat quarter yu every did want to see! Jaye, LAdy you outdid your self! Here I was feeling down beause I made all of those black and white blocks for the October swap and I loved each and every one and wanted to keep them and you gave me even better patterns to make my own. Only one of those you gave me was one I had used and I had used it all up in the block (and it was one of my favorites), so now I can have my own.
The pictures just don't do them justice they are just wonderful.

I saved these two for last since they are so lovely. I think, if I had to pick, the one one the right (flowers with pink and mauve) is my favorite. I usually am not an old fashioned floral girl, like modern prints but this just speaks to me. I may have to do something sepecial with it.
Thanks again Jaye and I will get yours out to you as soon as I get back. You have really raised the bar and I hope I can do as well by you.

OH, WOW... Janice... those are truly special prints... I can just see the happy dancing your doing right now...

Cindy... I do hope Bucky's going to be ok...
Sheesh... I haven't seen a Ben Franklin around here for years... Were you like a little kid in a candy store?

If I was to even say "brug" again in Don's presence, he'd pull his hair out... he's already asking me what I'm going to do with all of them I brought home from the RU...

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

You bet I had to really contain myself but I did buy these cute little baking dishs. I'm goin to make candles in them 2 scents Harvest Spice and Apple & Cinnamon Spice and Everything Nice.

Janice, we (yes Kel and I) are happy you're pleased with the black and white!
As for the florals, the Kona Bay "Tossed Flowers", that's my favorite floral and I know you can use a yard of it! While the other floral with the windmill like red flowers was what Kel had picked to give an "oomph" to a black and white quilt he wants!
Take your time! I'll be happy with anything you send.

I've really enjoyed this BJ. Getting ready for another!

But Phyllis.. you're our best coffee maker!! We can't have LK hopping up early morning till she has the other foot taken care of.

Just kidding Phyllis!! You TRY to have a great time at the wedding. Just don't forget to remove the pins, if you happened to do an emergency repair!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, Phyllis... you try to have a good time while your there. We'll try to get by without you, but it's gonna be really hard without your sweet rolls and coffee in the morns.

Jaye... if I do another FQ swap, I think I'll do it in the sewing and quilting forums, and let more people in... AND, I think we'll do 12 FQ next time too.

Cindy, I can smell those spice candles all the way over here... mmmm.

Good night everyone.....

Donna in Douglas, GA(Zone 8b)

And early Good Morning to you Sistah's!
Ok, I'm not going to give you a one liner this morning!
Jabo Jr. is wanting to talk!! (Jabo Sr. was my Daddy!)

I've been trying hard to clean out my office for the pass 3 hours! Wow how can any one collect so much junk, like all that junk mail, maginze and so much more and all it's good for is the trash! There should be a law against all this junk mail, having to sherred to keep our names safe and secure! An to think of all those tree's we are losing! It just PO's me when I have to take value time going go through this pile of crap!!

On another note:
While so many of you sistahs are busy at the sewing machine!! Oh yea Deborah, I would love to have a nice soft comfey blankey to curl up in my easy chair with! lol!!

Will I got a few projects I'm working on and one really big one! I'm remodeling my son bathroom. We've just about complete putting up the DUROCK board/cement board and then I'll be ready to tile. And my first major tiling job at that! I'll share pictures in a few days..............it just all the demo that's a mess! It seems that I have a mess every where I turn!!! Will I ever get it all clean up??? Of course not!! I've come to realize that I'm not super women but I sure do try!! lol!!

I do try to keep a clean and neat house but my two fellows aren't into house cleaning for sure nor yard work either!! Dear hubby does help with the lanudry and he goes buy all the grocery and some time cooks. But they do not do windows nor clean any of the FIVE toilets we have!!

Yes, we have 5 toilets in a house built for 3!! Three full baths and 2 extra potties in a house with about 3200 sq ft. It's funny we each have are special thrown!

Speaking of potties, I'm having the worst time with hard water rings. I have scurb and scurbs, the rings will not go. Bleach, Comet or Lime Away doesn't help either....Does any one know a special remendy??????? Ya know a toilet with rings always looks dirty to me! Please help me reid these nasty rings!! If only that was my worst of my chores!! lol!!

Another freeze tonight, thank goodness I did get all my plants in Monday! Here's a few picture of some of the coleus I'm over wintering. Hope to have many for my spring plant sale. I've got way to many plants to care for, my one lady nursery is more than is stay at home mom can do!

I should be out doing my fall planting but instead all I want to do is work on my home deco! go figure I change just as the seasons do! If my budget would allow I would have a full time carpenter and full time yard man. I would love to be a Boss Lady again, oh how I could get things done!!

Boss Lady again???

Hi Donna....We had trouble with hard water rings at our last house......I can;t remember the brand name but they make a pumice stone bar that is really great for removing those hard rings from the toilet bowl.....the only thing I ever found that worked.

It has been cold here at night but we have only had one frost so far and it was a light one. It has been foggy in the morning and beautiful sun in the afternoons this week but it's suppose to start raining on Friday.

i love the Coleus pictures....I don't think I have seen one like Gay Delight before, it is really pretty.

Well, Good morning to all of you, but its good night for me.........

Donna in Douglas, GA(Zone 8b)

Hey GF Deborah, you have ask me to share a little about me with all our sistahs! So I'm on a roll early this morning, sure hope you are sleep very well tonight. It was so nice to have our long chat last night. You really do sound good, GF!!

Sis Kathy, I'm looking forward in meeting up with you & Mike on Saturday. We'll for sure meet up at the farm in Union Springs. I'll be in touch with you by friday! Your peafowls are going to love there New master & home I'm sure!!

Well now I'll share with you about he Boss Lady!
Many years ago before I married, my father own a moving & storage company in a town about 60 miles from my home town. The lady manager was stealing and she got away with more than 60k and was very clever. The law protected her and daddy couldn't charge her. So to make a long story shorter!! When I was 19, my father put me in charge of Moving busniess. Not knowing one thing about the moving business, I had to learn everything to hard way. Which wasn't always the best either.............

Especially when this busniess was a MAN's world. So I hired me a good secretary, she was my right hand. There were already the crew of 6 men that I had to supervise and they really didn't think I could handle to job! Well 10 yrs pass and I was still in charge of my fathers business and the crew of 6 had turn into a crew of 12. And I earn the repect of these men, and they called me Boss Lady!! As for my work experience well 95% of it was being employed with my father.

And now that he's no longer with me, I'm very bless to have be able to work for him! He wasn't the smart man, but Daddy was a Honest, Hard working man and I married a man cut from the same mold as he was!! Oh how bless I am!!

Ok Sistahs, I know your coffee is getting cold by now!! I've have share just a little bit about me,like Deborah ask. Sure hope I haven't bored you all to bad.

I love people and I love to talk. I love to work with my own hands! I love to get my hands dirty!! I do not care for diamonds! I'm into power tools!! I'm a DIY Gal all the way!

Now you know what gapeahen is all about!!

Hope all has a Bless Day!
^_^ ^_^ ^_^
