TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

What was I supposed to do today?? I know... the Santa outfit, but don't feel like doing it :D
Think I'll look through quilting patterns so I'll be ready for Janice's fat quarters when they get here.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Morning again sistahs! I'm having a good time sewing! Going to start cutting out my Victorian Santa pattern today. Maybe I'll get the nerve to cut the fabric too.

Where is BJ? I need to ask a question about the fat quarter. If I went into a fabric store, say Walmart or Hancock Fabrics and asked for them to cut me 10 fat quarters, would those ladies know what I mean? Is fat quarter a sewing terminology I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Bj, can you forward that swap buddy list onto this thread again with the dates and deadlines? I lost it.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

I have to pick up Laura and take her DH to work, take her to run errands, pick up MY DH from work (has a staff meeting on his Day Off!!).....take Cedric and Bailey for a little sight seeing, then maybe I will get up the nerve to start working on Santa outfit......may need to get my Mom involved in this one...

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm starting all over on my son's rag quilt... didn't like the way it was looking... and the denim insert, instead of using flannel, was making it too heavy... so... back to phase one.
Next week is his b'day, so I'm going to give it to him then, not for Christmas.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm dmailing you Deborah, to explain.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Trisha please tell Laura to bundle up Cedric and Bailey. It will soon be frost weather where you all are at.
I can't wait when that little froffie start visiting some sistahs.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Morning Deborah, sound like you are having a great time......fat quarters are more of a Quilting Thing than a sewing term......

I think I posted it once before (CRS) but:

Blessed are the Quiltmakers
They keep us from going to pieces!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Jaye, will do!!!! Rumor has it he just got an invite to visit France also!!!!! Wish I could fit in the flat rate box too!!!

Got to run or SIL will be late for work.....later ladies!!!!

Glenview, IL

LOL, I think you need to get some sleep in there too.

You'll do great on the Victorian Santa, LOL...I made a practice one first.

OK, well I am off to craft store, Betty has shown us how to make an Angel Chistmas card so Thought i would try one.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

That's a cute saying, Trisha!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hello everyone. I made the jump!!!
So who has the list of the froffie visitation schedule???
That will be so cute to watch him do his traveling!

My fat quarter box is ready for mailing, I will keep the truck tomarrow, and get it mailed out.
Linda Kay

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Glad to see you all.

Not quilting any more. I did a lap quilt once and it was machine pieced and quilted in the ditch. Dresden Plate....once was enough, and I promise, never, ever to complain about the price of a quilt again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Deborah, you have to post a picture of your first sewing project! You have to be so proud of it? I bet you had a blast going through the box of supplies. have you figured it all out yet?
LK

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

OH NO> I haven't started looking for my fat quarters to Marion yet. I'm still scratching my head on what to ask for and the type of material to get. BJ where's that d-mail?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I mailed my fat quarters Friday... Debra should have gotten them today.
Cindy should get her box of scraps for her Barbie outfits today too.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

You should have your dmail now, Deb... sorry... it took a while to type it while Don's talking to me...

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

A rag jacket!! Wow.. that will be neat Betty.
BJ, Debra, I might do a rag bag AFTER I finish with Emerson's.

Okay, I shall repeat this question.
Do we post pics of the fat quarters we got so we can drool over what we don't have?

The grand lady is here... he he he/.. guess I better get started on the Santa :D

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

She'll end up in the Bermuda triangle!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Sure... we can post our new collection of fat quarters... but wait till you get all 20 before you post... ok? Let's keep down the number of photos we put up...

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Or Jamaica... LOL...

Hey, let's all move further south, if that's were we'll end up.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

going further south sounds good to me

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Oh mon, I always want to go down to Jamaica.
I think sister Kim of the Exotics been there. Anyone else want to move there?
Why not we buy our own private island instead, start collecting all our change..

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

i'm jommin mon

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I've been there twice... it's wonderful.

Saving my change for an island? No problem Mon....

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Twice BJ? Wow!! Lucky you!

Yeah, who knows, one of us might hit the lottery and we will all be able to take a cruise!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Guess to win, you have to play...huh?
I don't buy lottery tickets, so... I'm not a very likely winner...

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

That reminds me of the joke where the guy kept praying to God to win the lottery and finally God comes to him in a dream and says ya gotta help me out a little....you need to buy a ticket!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL... yea, that's me..

Maybe I can find a high stakes poker game somewhere...
