Think I'll look through quilting patterns so I'll be ready for Janice's fat quarters when they get here.

Morning again sistahs! I'm having a good time sewing! Going to start cutting out my Victorian Santa pattern today. Maybe I'll get the nerve to cut the fabric too.

Where is BJ? I need to ask a question about the fat quarter. If I went into a fabric store, say Walmart or Hancock Fabrics and asked for them to cut me 10 fat quarters, would those ladies know what I mean? Is fat quarter a sewing terminology I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Bj, can you forward that swap buddy list onto this thread again with the dates and deadlines? I lost it.

I have to pick up Laura and take her DH to work, take her to run errands, pick up MY DH from work (has a staff meeting on his Day Off!!).....take Cedric and Bailey for a little sight seeing, then maybe I will get up the nerve to start working on Santa outfit......may need to get my Mom involved in this one...

I'm starting all over on my son's rag quilt... didn't like the way it was looking... and the denim insert, instead of using flannel, was making it too heavy... so... back to phase one.
Next week is his b'day, so I'm going to give it to him then, not for Christmas.

Trisha please tell Laura to bundle up Cedric and Bailey. It will soon be frost weather where you all are at.

Not quilting any more. I did a lap quilt once and it was machine pieced and quilted in the ditch. Dresden Plate....once was enough, and I promise, never, ever to complain about the price of a quilt again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deborah, you have to post a picture of your first sewing project! You have to be so proud of it? I bet you had a blast going through the box of supplies. have you figured it all out yet?

Just dropping in for a sec. - Pat one of the ladies that did the Christmas Card project saturday came in with a beautiful jacket done the rag method...must get the pattern and make me one..
