Morning All,
Like LK always says TGIF, I don't know why I'm saying I don't work lol but for those of you who do I'm saying it for you.......TGIF
Got some Lily Tree bulbs yesterday so will be outside today going to be 85 whoooo!!!!!
How do those Lily Trees look, Cindy?
Kathy, you DID find a halloween house! But wouldn't it have been perfect for visitors and chickies and puppies!! Your babies could have all had their own rooms! Good luck, I know you'll find something!
LK you don't get too carried away with that car.....wooowhoooo!!!
Sounds like just the house for Laura and Stacey.........aaaaaaaahahhhahaaaaaaaaaaa!!
BJ, we won't tell........
Marion DH says you are a woman after his own heart.......I have more trouble getting him out of his flipflops!!!!
Cindy, send warm weather not supposed to get out of the 50"s here.....bbbrrrrr.....cold and foggy when I took Sage home this am........they're car is out again:(

Cindy, I love that!! Got to get me some!! So unusual and beautiful.
Sistahs, maybe the "perfect" person is not on the voting ticket. But don't sit back and not vote. There are some countries that don't give their citizens this privilege.
I agree BJ, still I'll be voting and I can say, this time we won't be voting for either of the prominent parties. We're protesting and going N***r :*(

Jay that butterfly picture on the other page is a hard one to id without the wings exposed but take a wild guess as some type of little skipper based on his fuzzy appearance. Debra, what do you say about that picture?
Love the lily tree Cindy! That will be goreous in your landscape!
Thanks Deborah. I'll just provide it with a caption. "The Kiss" says it all!!
You must have been busy with your machine, after getting that box from BJ! So, tell us, what project will occupy the machine?
Cindy, I found the site, Breck's the cheapest around. Think I'll get some :D
Wooohoooo a new adventure begins for my 2009 garden!!

Ah, do y'all really have bets going? I'm going to get Larry to take a picture of me sitting at my machine. Yes I did get a wonderful box from BJ yesterday! Wahoo! It was an open face sewing box that you wouldn't believe the compartments and pockets this bag has! It was full of notions and supplies! Plus a letter with my sistahs plus some shopping money with strict instructions to use it for sewing supplies and that's exactly what I intend to do with it. Y'all all are just so giving. You know, all the cards I received really made me feel so good. I myself, have not been good about sending cards. But now that I've been moved by how much love they send, I've bought me some to send out now. I want to send out love too and will start sending cards to help other people and my sistahs know how much I love them with a note and a card.
Jaye, the butterfly in the spider lily is a Giant Swallowtail, no doubt. I was looking at the ones in the yellow flower. Sorry about that.
You have 8 right? Id put 3 in the middle behind the iris and 2 each between the two flank shrubs next to the roses on each end of the house. IMHO would give you a wow effect when they bloom en masse. Absolutely no to any where next to wet ground or the potential for wet feet.
Yep I can picture that...yep yep
I can't count! LOL maybe 4 in the middle behind the iris
I used to rack up on cards and just mail, mail, mail... that's before the internet. Now, we sent ecards. I agree Deborah, nothing like the excitement of holding a card in hand.
Cindy, there's this area that's always much more greener than the rest. This area's on top of the septic tank, unfortunately, we can't grow anything there!!
But we are on city sewer so I can't figure it out, unless it's because I have weed potection on the left and not on the right and the left side is staying damp? I just don't know. I will be finishing that tomarrow.
You could grow small flowers, hoping they wouldn't put down oogoos of roots!
Cindy... I think we all have mystery spots like that. I was at my son's house yesterday, and he has 3 altheas planted in a row. They're like stair steps... he calls them the three bears, papa, mama and baby bear. The only thing that we can figure is that they get progressively more sun as along that side of the house. I also have a bed that's in an oval shape around a tree, but the tree is more to one side. The azaleas in that bed are bigger on the sunny end, smaller under the tree. I also figure it is due to how much sun they get.
Could that be happening at your house?
Great idea there Audrey!! I can grow more curcumas!!
YES, Deborah... we really have taken bets on what your first project will be... AND... PLEASE... I need to win this one... make a baby rag quilt first... ok?
The front om house gets the afternoon sun from like 3:00 on.
Hmmm... I give up then.
I'm not betting.. make one for yourself, Deborah :D
I better hide, huh BJ!!

LOL... it's ok Jaye... I think it's just me and Stacey, anyway.
And if she wins, I'm NOT paying her...
Aww come on now BJ. What can of tone will you be setting now for the rest of her Aunties?
ROFL!!!
LOL... well, I guess I'm just not a good looser... specially to a "youngun" like Fairy Toes...
That is GORGEOUS niece!!! So rich!! I love it!!
Good job Janice!
Even a jacket in that embossed satin will be beautiful. I can see it now, with silver cuffs...
it is actually a light fern green, doesn't come out well in pics:( But yes-that would be GORGEOUS!!
Oh, wow... how very nice... just beautiful...
Janice, you're spoiling that youngun... good job.
Fairy Knees... I'm only trying to win here... not serious about not paying you.
We've yet to see what her first project is going to be.
Fern green, that would be much better.
Beautiful!
