Ummmm Cleaning house?
No, that can't be it...
Are you looking up a number in the yellow pages for a house keeper?
Hmmm... maybe you have a whip in one hand and a whistle in the other ordering your DH to get it done...

Nope... ???!!!

Hmmm... I give up.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Trisha, invite Judy over!!! She loves cleaning... all you got to do is bake her some cookies, brew a pot of coffee and you just watch that woman transform into a genie ;)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Question:
When you have a runaway casket, what do you throw at it to stop it?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Hmmm... I'd rather bake cookies than clean, any day of the week.
Judy, you are officially invited over to my house for an extended visit... may take about a week.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Don and I don't know... we give up.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Throw a bottle of cough syrup... it will stop the "coffin"------------
Nyuk..nyuk..nyuk....

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

oh jaye you are just soooooo funnnnny LOL both the tootin' fairy and the coffin LOL

I have not even thought of a Christmas list to even say what I would want LOL

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Couldn't we hear BJ going "Sheeeeeeesshhh", Phyllis?
LOLOL, Kel slapped me on the side of the head for that one!!

Phyllis, we can make a list for you. Ist would be a giant waterfall :D

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

"Sheeeeeeesshhh"

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

yeah I could my step son snickered but Doug didn't say a word other then he was saying he's never seen a casket that was a run away.

mm giant waterfall would be good and so would landscaping so things look wonderful for next spring
I could make a list of things but it's not anything that anyone can afford LOL.....see a few things that come to mind right now.
rototiller
enclosed porch/sunroom on back of house
garage/work shop/tool shed built off of driveway so both cars could be inside and not in the sun all the time.
that would free up the small shed and I could have it for my plants and glass stuff. LOL

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

When is Marion going back the her house? Anyone know?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I think she said Tuesday... not sure.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm going to make a pot of home made soup. BBL

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm not gonna cook! It's tuna salad again!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I will probably have a bowl of cereal-that is usually my dinner when DH works at night:(

So Phyllis, if I take all that time off, then who's payin my bills?? Farting doesn't pay the rent ya know;)

I PICKED OUT MY JIGSAW FOR XMAS!!YEAH!! It is a B & D 5.5 amp with variable speed and a laser thingy:) Not sure if that is all good stuff, but sounds good!!LOL

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Cereal sounds pretty good, too!

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I am watching Deb on TV:) It is Steel Magnolias-I LOVE those ladies!! I know it is set in LA, but they have an accent reminds me of Deb:)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Yeah-uh sure, cuz DH makes enogh $$ for me to not have to work-DON'T I WISH!!!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Hiya sistahs! Birthday and Christmas lists? Hmmmmm .... how much time do you have? LOL! Mine would include a sewing machine, a sewing floor lamp, a paved driveway, dining room drapery, dining room table/chairs, dining room rug, etc. If I ever sat on Santa's lap and got started he would be kicking me off 'cause my time was up!

I cooked a pot of soup and a pot of chili today. The soup used a mix I got at the craft shows - not real crazy about it. Too many herbs or something - may add some veggies and try to tone it down. The chili is good! That will be dinner tonight and one more night this week. Anything left will be frozen. Same for the soup.

I've been working on my Victorian Santa robe. Kinda confuddled about the gathering at the top but will figure it out. Anyone else working on theirs? When gathering around the neck, is it one continuous thread across the sleeve opening or two seperate gatherings for front and back between the armholes?

Deborah, your dawgs did good! Jaye, sorry about the Tiggers. Like the Hogs, we should have a better year next year. What do they say? This is a 'building' year.

We got a laugh this afternoon. As you know, we are in the boonies - neighbors couldn't hear me if I screamed at the top of my lungs. Our drive is 1/4 mile long and I don't know anyone is here until they are HERE. Our neighbor recently installed a device that chimes when a car is coming up the drive so we got one, too. Installed it and when tested, it didn't chime at our house. Couple of minutes later the neighbor called - it DID chime at HIS house! LOL! We were set to the same frequency - changed ours and now it works fine. We got a laugh out of it.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

three's a wish for all of us enough money so we don't have to work and can get together to play LOL

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

it is one for the front and one for the back

Hey, Fairy - what does your DH do that he works on Sunday night?

Don't you know Marion had a good time? Can't wait to see her photos from her reunion. They can be a lot of fun. Had our 30th last summer. There were almost 600 in our graduating class so reunions are a major feat to organize. I was Senior Class President so it's my job to organize them. It's hard work but nice because I stay in contact with classmates I would not have otherwise. We are fornunate to have a core group of class members who jump in and help - they are wonderful!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Phyllis!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm gonna work on my Santa tomorrow, was going to today, but I worked with the brugs instead!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Debra, I haven't seen my school mates since I graduated!!!! I know most of them are grandparents. My main curiosity will be who they marry! I think I'm the only one out of my class that's living overseas.
Guilty---haven't tackled my Santa yet. Will try to do it tomorrow. But Phyllis, with your pic, I have a clear understanding how it should look like..thanks sistah!

I love steel Magnolias too, Staceypoo. Weezer Weezey, (which is it?) She's my gal! I'd never be able to pull off her attitude though. I've wanted to say "wart? for (what) the way she does when I burp from drinking a coke. LOL! HAHAHAHA!!! but I think my personalility best matches Ruth in Fried Green Tomatoes. That movie or at least the diner parts were filmed in Juliette Georgia just north of Macon. Although the movie is deplected as Ala. Now my hubby, is Eveyln Couch's husband made over. Ain't nary a romantic bone left in that man's bod. Larry would blow out the candles on the dining table telling me I'm going to set the house on far! j/k ROFLOL!

Audrey, I'm going to too then.

Marion, BJ and Debra, y'all have some butterfly goodies coming from me this up coming week. Enjoy!

OK, I cut my Brugs. Jaye, did you get yours done? For those sistas that I had promised brug cuttings to back in Sept, I'll get them out this week too.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I had my schollmate over this weekend-we had been friends since the 5th grade and haven't seen each other for about 7 yrs-it was so nice-you know it is a true friend when you can pick back up and there is no awkwardsness!!

Debra-he is a Kitchen Mgr...he gets like 1 sun a month off....I hate him working nights-we never get to see each other, so no babies anytime soon:(-sorry-TMI

That is too funny about the door chime!!LOL

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Aw really-Ruth-I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! Gets to me every time!! I am a combo of Weezer and Charice in Steel Magnolias but about 30 yrs younger-I am a nice girl, but I am a hard ars too-I don't take anyones crapola and shoot from the hip-I do have some diplomacy, but not a lot yet-I am a Libra-I have the 2 sides to the scale that are never evened out:)

Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

Fairy's DH is an Executive Kitchen Manager for a high end resturant chain. Sometimes he goes in early in the morning and gets off after 3-4, another time he goes in at noon and gets off at 8-10, and sometimes he works until they close. Three shifts, three choices.
That's why she eats cereal; when he is home he does the cooking.
(He's my son) and when I move near them I am coming over every night he cooks! Right? Right, Fairy...ha, ha

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

He isn't the excutive EKM-not yet at least mom;) And since he just started this job this summer, he works more nights than anyone else....hopefully not for long-and MOM-we are gonna have to limit your visits!!ROFL!!-JK:) You know I love ya:) If you pull in the driveway and all the lights suddenly go out though, just slowly back on out;)

Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

ROGL....I can take a hint!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I hoped you'd get a snicker outta that one!!LOL

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Has anyone heard from 1Anjl-she popped in, but I haven't noticed her lately?????

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Hello all, backside dragging!!!!! Tons of fun and it was the first time in 50 years since most of us had seen everyone!! Can you say; Shock? I have never seen so many snowy white haired or bald men in one room at the same time. Guess I shouldn't say t.hat o to loud.

Missing everyone but will return Tuesday--most likely late arriving as I am stopping by Gainesville (quilt shop detour).

Don't do anything I wouldn't do or if you do let me know about it so I can catch up. LOL

Deborah, I wouldn't bet on first project as I agreed with BJ--baby quilt!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, Don wanted steak for dinner, instead of the hamburger I had defrosted... so he had me go down to the meat market... I tried to get him to take his scooter down there, but he said he just wanted to veg... he's so spoiled.

Nope, haven't heard from 1Anjl since Thursday. She was suppose to go to the doctor tomorrow.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Debra, 600 folks to keep up with for 30 years. OH MY STARS! I'm glad you have a supporting group to lean you a hand organizing. Do y'all have a Class website? My husband's class just started one. It's a hoot!!!All those 60 somethings ('64) acting like they are 17/18 all over again. I loved his era's music though. I was only 9 years old when he graduated. Yep, he robbed the cradle. I was his date to his 10 year class reunion. And the rest is history!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I went to my 10 year class reunion. Never again.
The friends I had in HS were totally different people... nothing alike anymore. And the one guy that had such a crush on me and followed me around like a puppy all the time... showed up at the reunion with dirty ratty hair pulled back in a pony tail. He had dirty tennis shoes on.. and still had 5 teeth in his mouth... I don't think he recognized me... he didn't speak to me... THANK GAWD...
Another woman came up to me and recalled what tight friends we were in high school... I couldn't place her for the life of me.
All in all, I had fun... but OH MY GOODNESS... what a really messed up bunch of people they are now.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Marion, but you did have fun did ya?? Funny.. a room full of white haired or bald.. I bet, if I were to attend my school reunion, I'd be seeing the same thing, and some soliciting done on the side, for a retirement community!!!!
Be careful Janice. You don't want our niece to love you too much that she'd build a MIL dungeon just for you? Then we sistahs will have to rescue you!!
Deborah, I had cut down all my brugs.. except for 2. Lemon Twist is full of full size buds, and Kel wanted to see another flush. The other's a noid that I have plenty of.
Kel grilled burgers tonight. We had them with fresh hothouse tomatoes, and slathered with sour cream.
