It's about to............#28

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

OK I have decided NOT to throw in the Towel on Brugs this year so anyone with cuttings (not green) I would love to have some if I am worthy since I am a BIG haha TM. I want something to take care of this winter or I will have more than 3 of me causing trouble. ROTFLOL

And my one thing I would love to have I will have to get back to thinking I knew but was out working in the yard all morning and can hardly stay awake.

Deb, hope you feel better soon. An EE is an Elephant Ear. It is so great that you are getting a banana from Tropicman. I love all the pix he posts of his yard.

TY Louise, I still doing the one day at a time thing, but I am happy that I can get up and around.

Sandra it’s fantastic that you and your daughter are getting together. To be able to see pix of Abrianna now and then see her in future, your prayers are being answered.

It was not my pc or the software, I checked the camera and it had a bad file, after I deleted it I was able to load. Here is a pix of Aidan I took yesterday.

Linda Kay, here is the pix of the bottle of Tree tea oil. I put an 8oz measuring cup so you have an idea of the size. It is really small maybe 3-4 inches tall.

Bonnie, I put the jar of molasses in the pix for you. I got it a regular grocery store and it worked fine.

Do I see a handsome prince in thread #28, what a cutie Donnita, give him a kiss from Auntie Clemen, hee hee.

Just trying to go through the threads, have been busy today and not much puter fun, wahhhhhhhhh!

Bonnie those new Mike's bruggie cuttings are looking quite good. Yours over here are just lovely, I still have some in water, but the ones that had roots, I potted them in soil and are doing wonderfull, even the leaves picked up. I hope you got your passi, I sent it to your work place and was hoping you got it before the week end. If it does not survive, just advise and I will try to root some for you and send along!

Boy it is quite without Peg and Beck, girls I miss you!

Sandra, happy you will get to see your dgd soon!
Hi Louise and everyone that is luriking around.

Love to all, Clem

Hello Hotties and Handsomes!

If you ever get a chance to go to a Roundup, DO IT! I am still amazed, overwhelmed and my car is stuffed!

I'll try to list the things I got later, but please bear with me while I show some pictures.

Here's is Beck talking about that tree, Yes, she packed it in the Vibe.

Here's our littlest trader, she traded all day but did not keep anything. When she got something, she would just trade it again.

Another then I'll quit. But it was 5 hours of frantic plant talk, trading or giving and stuffing our faces. Great fun!

Hi all. Busy day here. I am trying to get the rest of the brugs inside this weekend. Decided to take cuttings of a couple I thought I was going to keep. There just isn't enough room!!!!
Hope you are all having a super weekend. The last 2 hotties I am sending cuttings to, yours will go out on Monday.

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

By the time everybody got set up we had two rows of people and the tops and the bottoms of the tables were full and overflowing. And, oh, man the tropicals I saw. Just wonderful.

Beck has more pix and is still trying to get her computer working. Right now, I'm just going to relax and try to identify everything I've got. TTYL Peg

Oh Peggy! Aren't you just tickled pinkless? Good pics, post more, some of you and Becky together??? And what a cute little person talking that tree up ;) The one in pigtails is just as cute.. what sweeties.. Thx for the update.. you hotties off to a nice relaxing dinner? Steak, I think was on the evening meal menu...?

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Cat!! Thanks for the post Lady! I was going to d-mail ya, but I read some lucky Hotties got packages from you.. so I thought you were prolly just busy.. Nice to hear from you.. Drew didn't come "home" this wknd, so I'm holding out 1 more week.. (I hope it's not 2, he's coming home for our little town fall festival).. I did trim a bunch (all?) of the young ones and the rest I'll need to drag the ladder around or lay them down to trim..

(Cathy), MO

Hi Bonnie. Yes, super busy. Lots going on here.
I decided I'm not going to bring all of the whole plants in, that I thought I was going to. Just take cuttings. I did decide to keep one I wasn't planning on keeping, after it bloomed! Orange sunshine is gorgeous! Shorter and just FULL of blooms. I think this was one of the ones Kenboy was going to try making a hanging plant out of.
By the way, can I get a start of Maya from you next spring? I think mine is biting the dust! :-(

Any other hotties, especially the newer ones, want any more cuttings? I can send 3 or 4 named cuttings

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Wow what a fun day today. I made lots of new friends who are all very nice. I recieved lots of plants for my new yard wow so many I will take pictures of them all tomorrow. For a couple of door prizes I won a 25 gift certificate at canna girls store with free delivery and a brug which I forget which one but one of them.

Then I get home after a fun day to find a box of plants on my doorstep that was a home warming gift from canna girl now I get to shop in her store as well.

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

James, wasn't it fun? Too bad, it was different RUs, would have been fun for one.

Okay, I have to consider my one wish closed. Remember, I said I wanted ginger, well, here's a pic of what Beck brought me and also a huge plumaria from another DGer. Boy, when Beck grants a wish, she grants it!

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

Clemen, I have posted my picture before! Must not have made any impression! tee hee!! Lov ya, Peg

South Coast, RI(Zone 6b)

Clemen, TY for the DGS comments, I can’t get enough of him.

Hope the pix helps Linda Kay.

Peg, great pic, hope we will get to see one of you too, I’m sure Beck has some. Oh that plant table I was drooling. So glad you had a wonderful time and you got a great stash.

Cat, glad you had a chance to post, I know how busy were between fall clean up, the coop and life.

Bonnie, I hope the weather holds for ya. It’s getting kind of close.

South Coast, RI(Zone 6b)

Guess I don’t type fast enough; there were 7 posts while I was reading typing.

James, sounds like you had a great day, then more goodie on the door step. Soooooo happy for you. Do you have pix of the RU?

Peg that ginger is gorgeous; Beck the plant genie did a great job granting your wish. I only remember one pix posted of you and you were hiding under the nana. We could hardly see you!!!

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

LOL, Donna I don't type fast enough either. Ok having dinner now

Can anyone figure out what that little bird is, he looks blue to me

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Cat, Kenboy gave away an Orange Sunshine Brug for a door prize at our RU and it was in a hanging basket, just gorgeous blooms! Peg, I know you had a wonderful time! I'll never forget how I felt this summer after completing my first RU, tired to the bone but so amazed I kept running outside that night to look at my booty in disbelief! I'm so proud you got to attend one! Now next spring, you MUST come to ours in East Texas!!!! Me or Beck will even put you up at our house, and no city driving here! LOL, bless your heart getting lost like that!

Hey Clemen sweetie hottie! How are you doing tonight? Was Gabrielle tired after her testing?

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Thx for the molasses pic.., I know Donna, it's been just under 40 at night... I just LOVE livin' on the edge! Kinda like all those Texans, having Beck and Peg on the loose in their town.. hehee:) James, what a lovely day you had too!

Cat.... maybe if ya start some of that Orange Sunshine for me........ you! I did pot up another cutting of Maya, today..and I think I may have a couple left.. I'll put you on the list, for sure..You are #1. And if you don't want to fuss with the Orange Sunshine, and you have some to share...send her to me.. what's 1 more?? Clemen, LOVE that lil bluebirdie! I'm tired.. came inside about 5 and was on my feet the whole time, but I got some "bruggage" trimmed away....seed pods are getting big, too!

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Karen, you snuck in there on me! ;) Hey, I researched the eucalyptus oil and it does help my ol achy arthritis. I think the weather is making them act up so I rubbed some on them, it worked good... but it is also good for plants, is the strongest natural germicidal.. I think I'll put a teaspoon or so in my "Recipe"- for plants. (smelled good, too like Hall's cough drops)

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Bonnie I am sure it would work fine. The Tea Tree Oil is a fungus gnat repellent anyway and it is the minty smell that does it's work in the recipe so I don't see why not? You have Dmail ♥

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

Karen, let me think about east Texas for a while, I think Spring would be a better time for my zone plantwise, though it did not seem to make a difference here today. It would be fun, though!! I think we could get even more of us together maybe.

South Coast, RI(Zone 6b)

Clem that little guy is such a cutie, I don’t know what he is but he’s blue. I love your nana too.

Hi Karen, I wish I could make it to one of those TX RU’s so many tropicals. I have managed to miss both spring and fall RU’s here in the NE.

Bonnie you are living on the edge but I can see they are right by the door so you can pull or push them in if ya have to. They all look so great.

I would like some of your extra cuttings...I'm new here and just getting started thanks to AuntB ..

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

hey Hotties and Handsomes...
I am finally online..lol.. I have my password stored on the puter...NOT my brain, and since I am in the hotel.. it wanted my password...finally got it from Lyle... we had a great day... and Peg and I felt like we knew each other forever... or at least I did..lol...Peg is so down to earth and easy to get along with! Crazy day, and I think we are all tired... I could be mean and take a pic of my cousin gettin a few zzzzz's... lol... but I better not!!

Superthrive can be bought at the Lowes.. can't get it at Walmarts in my area, and the tea tree oil can be bought at Walmart in the vitimin section
