3175, I didn't do so well

What can you expect when you have all those Sherry's pouncing you? No pun.

Well ... good morning everyone. I have been playing on Twitter for the past hour, looking for any of my DG friends that just might be members there, too. Nope. Couldn't find any of you.

Celeste ~ you and I are so similar. I'm sure that when my grands get a little older, I'll go looking for more little ones to care for and to cuddle. I'm sure there will always be parents that need day care.

And, all my years seem to go by so very quickly now, but Happy Belated Birthday to your baby!!! Did you go party?

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

Just stopping by to say "Hi" to everyone. Hope everyone is doing well and getting those garden beds ready for winter. This pic is from last year - I didn't get out to take very many pics this fall. Eleanor

Extra hour for gardening this weekend! I hate setting the clocks back, though. Depressing.

Happy November, everyone!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Celeste, CONGRATULATIONS!! That is a great (if bittersweet) accomplishment..
Hello Eleanor.

I'm bulb planting today.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Good morning y'all hope your weather is good up there. Down here in Northeast Florida it is cool and wet. Oh well I did not feel like weeding any way. Y'all all have a great day.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Nice day in CT

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

LOL!
Describe 'cool', wren

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

60's I know that is not cool for others but hi,it is nice when it is in the upper 70's/ Much better that the upper 90's with a 100 percent humidity.

Lovely photo!
We won't be seeing 60 here for quite some time, I'm afraid!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

It's pretty "warm" here. Should reach at least 50

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Ouch that is cold here.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

mid 40's today, 60's and sunny predicted here for mid week

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, I always laugh when my relatives in FL complain of cool or cold weather. 50's and 60's!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Well you have to remember that we are never cold long enough to get use to it. It could be in the 30's in the morning and in the 70's in the afternoon. Plus our cold is very damp.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Speakin of 70's - the bank said it was 76 a little bit ago. Whew! I'm sweatin!!

Our cold here is a wet cold, too. Jeff grew up outside of Syracuse in Manlius and said the cold there didn't feel as cold as the cold here, cuz of the wetness factor.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Well, it was a beautiful day for working in the yard! Put 140 bulbs in. 50 species tulips, 20 Darwin, 20 peony tulips, 50 daffs. Have one area where I can get away with regular tulips. Every where else they would be deer food.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh that will be so beautiful. I so wish I could grow tulips down here.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

DH finally planted my new-to-me daylilies! I still have a box of bulbs from a co-op.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I can't even grown daylilies in this stupid yard. Oh well I will just have to enjoy the picture of all of y'alls flowers

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I planted an oakleaf hydrangea too. always wanted one.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice, David.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

wren, why can't you grow daylilies? They are the easiest, hardiest plant I own. for the sake of repeating myself...you can drive a Toyota Tundra over them in April/May and they will still bloom for you in July!
