That's one of the reasons I love our forum.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Me too

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

I agree.
We should have a slogan ...

"DG! It's not just for gardeners anymore!"

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

great idea

I have to leave for a time--must go out side in that "cold" weather.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Got your long johns on wren?? I hear it's 25 in parts of Florida this morning. Thats just not right!!!

Yeah it drives the cockroaches in.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - the 'parts' are freezing in FL...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I think my parts are frozen. LOL The dog loves this weather but he is dressed for it. He even went into his pool. Crazy animal.

It is already up to 56 degrees---crazy Florida weather

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Isn't that the funniest wren? My crazy ole cat lies around like a bump all summer and becomes Mr. Perky as soon as it gets cold.

Mr. Perky.... Where is Victor.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Well with Andre it is understandable , he has a triple lay coat.
Here he is posing among the epi's. He barked at me until I took his picture. The Ham!!!!!

H just keeps getting handsomer in every pic.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

let just not tell him-please he is already to full of his self

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Tough to keep Mr. Perky when it's cold...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I SOOOOOOOO knew that was coming (snort)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Andre is beautiful!!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

SHHHHH! Do not want him to get a big head. Every time my last Terv hear "Oh what a beautiful dog" he would pull me over to the person. He know they meant him!!!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Victor!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sorry! I really should have resisted - it was too easy.

That is a beautiful dog.

Oh yes beautiful headed.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

It is a very beautiful breed but they are like living with a mischievous hyper active intelligent 2 year old and they never grow up

I'm not a dog lover in general but even I can see the aesthetic appeal of that handsome dog! (Said in a whisper...)

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Thank you. The story of how I came to be owned by my first Tervuren(Andre is the 3rd) I had a Dobe but I wanted another dog and I wanted one that I could show myself. I was at a dog show watching the Siberian huskies one of the breeds I was interested in. Suddenly the back of my neck was being licked, I turned and looked into a smiling face and fell in love. The beautiful boy would one day become the father of my first terv. My second terv turned out not to be show quality but I told the breeder that she could not have him back. He lived with me 10 years 11 month and 3 weeks. He learned on his own to be my assistant dog after I was injured in a car accident.

Well good nite

Sandy ~
That would be me this time.
It just barely broke 20 degrees here.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I hope you closed that door and it warms up for both of us. thought the weather report says 3 more nights of below average cold. But the demon child is loving this weather. We have been out with my bike for a 2 mile run and count them 3 play times with the ball. Help! I am tired and it is not even noon.
Sandy

You poor girl! I wish I could go out for a walk, but that would mean bundling up the two little ones, unfolding the stroller, and chasing the puppy to put him in a safe room while we are out. Too much!!

Besides ... it's too cold. Yeah! I'll go with that excuse. I have a treadmill after all - tee hee!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Can I borrow the treadmill for the dog????? Or I would trade the fuzzy demon child in exchange for your puppy and you could even throw in the two little ones.

fuzzy demon child - I have had them for years! My 1st Keeshond I would have clipped every summer. Some where a Keeshond spun womans sweater is floating around.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I wish I could find some one to spin Andre's fur it is such a lovely amber color. And I have threaten to shave the boy

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

LOL!
Sorry. No trades allowed. He may be a bad puppy ... like today ... but he's MY puppy! LOL!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I feel the same way about the demon child from h--l. The sweetest most loving brat but so full of mischief there has been time I would have traded him off. At least he has started to settle down. It takes until they are 3 to be come more mature. first 3 years had be a pain.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I had a Keeshond, her name was Haagen Dazs. I loved that dog!!

Thumbnail by flowAjen

Oh lets not go with those professional rubber neck counter stealing Keeshonds. Mine if her neck cant be like a rubber band and reach her tounge surely will expand and get it. Geourgous but a true thiefette!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

She once stole a pork chop right out of the broiler.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Time to go eat lunch, later....

I take the dogs for a ride. I had 6 hot dogs and a package of cube steaks. OH NO - put them under the drivers seat. I dont know how she got between the sterring wheel and the seat! Cube steaks survived. Hot dogs, well they did not. They were found whole in the driveway later that day regurgitated all 6 of them. Gallon of milk - the cover was bit and turned right off. Is that stupidness or smart dog?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Sounds like Andre he has stories on www.baddogs.com its a site for the bad dogs in our life to tell their side of the stories. He has stolen a lot of things of the stove and counter and out of the trash.

Counter surfing and trash can diving are two of his favorite things to do.
