Be Thankful

Today is easy, I am thankful for all the men and women who have served our country and for those still in service allowing us the freedoms we enjoy!!! Thank you!!!!

Yes I am thankful for them too, many of them family members!!

Today I am thankful for having the strength to get through and tunnel vision to realize days with my babies are short lived and that in this moment I can more fully appreciate a 3 month old who just wants to be held in Mother's arms and a toddler who is such a ham she makes me laugh.

You're so blessed with the little children. Ditto, to the sentiment that those days will be sorely missed...soon, sometimes, ways too soon.

I'm thankful today for all the blessings, big or small. Rain or shines.

I'm thankful for the men and women who serve & have served our nation. I'm thankful today for the gift of life & freedom.

I am thankful for my family, including aunts, great aunts, second cousins, etc. One of my coworkers just lost a nephew today, and when things like that happens, it just makes you so much more thankful for what you already have.

I am thankful for closed doors in life so new windows can be opened upon new opportunities.

I'm thankful for the ladies and gents here at DG. You are all so generous with not only plants/cuttings/seeds but words/advise.

Here is one- my house is trashed because I haven't been feeling good....well, not trashed but a good mess going on here and there...I am THANKFUL that I have a house and stuff for it to become cluttered. I am THANKFUL for my two children and their ability to make a mess even if I do have to clean up after them! =o) Always a bright side to everything, right?

Ves, even though I don't know you or your sister, I am thankful too for her and the Dr's that were able to remove all the cancer!!!

I am thankful for spending time with the one I love this week-thank you vacation!

I feel thankful to all those who find the light of positive outcomes, even if it is just a flicker, it is always there! Sometimes He just makes us look harder.

I am thankful I have a job, for one, and thankful that job allows us to earn sick time off for coming to work. That sounds weird huh? The more you come to work the more time you can have off for sick time. Anyway I have caught something that is producing headaches that sometimes make me feel very sick. They aren't migraines, I know the difference. LOL I'm thankful that my job is ok with me being off work yesterday and today.

I'm also thankful for wonderful in-laws. We spent several hours visiting the other day and it made me grateful I have such wonderful people in my family.

I'm thankful for today, for the foods on the table, for transportation to get here and there when needed. Thankful for family, friends, strangers to, for strangers could be friends whom you haven't met yet.

I am thankful for having an awesome fiance that helps take care of me when I am sick, even though he feels terrible too.

I'm thankful for one door closed, which opens new ones. Although, at times when doors close, the feeling of sadness and grief are overwhelming. So, today, I'm thankful for patience. And remember, every day is a new day.

I am thankful for Lily-love!!...... who always has a positive outlook and encouraging words expressed in faith. You are an inspiration!!! Patience is an extention of unrelenting faith.

I'm thankful because I'm having a DG friend come this week-end and am sooo excited. I've never had the opportunity to meet her before. We've known each other for almost 4 years now. Isn't this sooo wonderful?

I am thankful that today is my last day at this job, and that I get a little time off before starting my new one.

I'm thankful today for the sun is shining, and the wind is calm.

Thankful I have the day off after 3 rather doopy feeling days at work! Has to be the time change finally affecting me!

I'm thankful my DD is coming to visit next week. I haven't seen her in 6 months.

Amen. My gardens would still be struggling and some things would be running rampant without the good folks here and their advice.

Amen and amen ... I have so many wonderful plants I didn't even know about until DG. I'm a scented freak, and I thought there were only gardenias and the common jasmines and magnolia. Wow, was I ever wrong. :) I'm thankful for my DH. He puts up with so much ... I won't go there. LOL

Thankful for family gathering for TG. There will be about 50 of us for TG dinner, so thankful for family!!!!!!!

Okay, I need to add one more thanks. It cost us $18 to fill up instead of $48. :) Woohoo! I sure am thankful for this. LOL

I watched a show (couldn't tell you the name or channel) with a lady talking about how to be successful at whatever you do. She was saying to always have gratitude; each day to think about what you are thankful for.

Too many people put themselves in a negative state of mind. Sort of like reap what you sow...or mind over matter...or the power of positive thinking... or maybe it's the law of attraction.
