Be Thankful

Neither one, IO1! I got busy getting ready for trick or treaters...carving the pumpkin, decorating the porch, decorating ME...LOL Bought the candy and the pumpkin this morning. Then I got distracted by a movie. Sheesh! I'll have to get to them tomorrow.

About lady bugs - I recall from grade school a classmate who would eat them when the hoards emerged from the walls of our old school house. She said they tasted like peanut butter. Her elevator often stopped between floors. Wonder what became of her?

About gratitude - the campaigning is just about over --------- TG!!!

Thankful my DB came for a visit and stayed over night!

I'm thankful today for a beautiful, peaceful weekend with loved one. Thankful too, for our beautiful Nation.

This is but a small example:

I'm thankful for the extra hour of sleep last night but DISLIKE it getting dark at 6:00 pm.

Did I mention I was accident prone? I'm thankful that stupid Batman costume accessory batasomething that fell off and smacked me in the head missed my eye by about 2 milimeters. I have a cut just under my eye and I am going to have a partial black eye. LOL

I'm thankful for my job but it is killing me. LOL

I'm thankful my brothers invitied me to their house for movies and pizza.

Isn't it wonderful when one can share time with family? I'm thankful we're blessed with such joy.

I am thankful that I was able to have a nice relaxing trip to the mountains, and that my boyfriend (fiance now) proposed with the most amazing ring while there!

It's funny how different people get engaged in different ways. My DH proposed in a parking lot. I loved that he didn't care who was looking.

i am grateful that my two boys, ages 35 and 33 grew up the way they did. chris lives in philly and was married last march to a wonderful and loving girl who we just visited. he still calls us twice a day and my older, still unmarriedson always visits us. they re respectful and what me and deb like the most is that they are good friends with each other.

I am thankful for the beauty of mother nature as she puts on her spectacular fall wardrobe. I especially enjoy her golden crown of light as the sun moves across the trees and sprinkles through the leaves likes little treasures. I am especially thankful to all the people out there who care for our mother earth and help to heal her each day.

Thank you God for blessing America in this day before our presidential election.

I'm thankful, once again, for my DH. I'm thankful for the snow we had. I'm thankful my DD is coming to visit Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm thankful today, Polama storm is diverted away from the US. I'm also thankful to see gas price $2.39/gallon yesterday.

Thankful for nice warm weather, in the 80s today!

I am thankful for the wood pile that will heat my home this winter.

I'm thankful for the leaves I collected yesteday to mulch my beds.

Today I am thankful my 3 and 5 year olds let me sleep in a bit, woke up with a headache but it's gone now and they are behaving so well this morning! It's a great day!

I'm thankful for my animals. I was very thankful for my friend Sharon today as she helped me condense the Halloween merchandise while I marked it down. The isle got so crowded I began to wonder if we had enough oxygen. LOL

Well stated, seedtosser. I'm thankful today for same reason. I'm thankful too, for the seasonal changes. Though, I don't like the cold temp. but thankful there are means that we can keep ourselves warm and comfortable. And I'm thankful for those means that are available to us. Thankful for all the blessings upon us.

I am thankful today for too many things to just mention one!

I am thankful Thanksgiving is almost here. My niece can show off her new kitchen for company!

I'm thankful that all of the election hostilities have ended and that gasoline in my city costs less than $1.80 per gallon.
