Be Thankful

In light of Thanksgiving next month see if you can find one thing to post gratitude for each day.

Today in Houston gas was $2.73!

Now that would make me thankful! It is $3.39 here..

I'm thankful today the weather is calm and beautiful. Gas prize here has been seen as low as $3.09, yes I'm thankful of that too.

It's $2.63 now. keep dropping.... please please please...

Today is Bosses day, and I am very thankful for my boss. She is kind, patient, fair, calm and just an all around great person.

I'm thankful for my husband. He's stood by me through this past year of heartbreak and turmoil. Always there with a shoulder rub or other touch to tell me he's there.

Today I am thankful that my husband has a real, in person interview!

Thankful today the sun is shining and it is warm out.

That I have 3 days off!

I'm thankful that there is DG so many of us can gather and share our gardening joy.

I am thankful today that my mom finished her last "major" chemo treatment this week!

I'm thankful today of friendships that one gives to oneself, and others. I'm also thankful for the rain we're recieving today.

I'm thankful to be alive and healthy.

Maybe this might be self centerd but I am thankfull to have a Job on Monday I just hured that quite few people got layed off today We don't get layed off till thanksgiving
And I still have to say some More Money. I work road construction so I do plan to be layed off BUT not this early so I am very Thankfull.

That is not selfcentered it is Self preservation! Lots of us are worried about that at this time.

I think that is a fine thing to be thankful for Dimmer. I am VERY thankful for that, especially in the economy. I may not like my job all the time, but at least I have one that treats me pretty good. :)

Having a job, is many reason to be thankful of, I agreed. Many cheers to those that holds a job and be proud of it. Whatever we do, as we give it our best. Bless you, I admire you whomever you're out there.

I too am thankful to have a job. I am also thankful for the 5 days off I have, I am in the middle of that now.

I am thankful that my friend Misty is alive and recovering today. Yesterday I received a call that her husband had murdered her that morning. After a bunch of phone calls I found out that she had been shot (he fired 15 times but only one hit her in the back) but is in the OU Medical Center with the bullet left in but recovering nicely. This may sound awful but I am thankful her husband was caught and jailed.

I am very thankful I have a wonderful husband that doesn't use drugs!

I'm thankful for such a good spouse. I am really blessed.

I'm thankful today there is food on the table, and transportation to get from point a to point b.

That I can take a moment to reinforce my thanks and not be griping about what needs to be better. (Many people have valid reasons to worry and are suffering- that's not griping)

Good luck! I am thankful my teenage son turned in a job app today- I thought he had sort of forgotten the whole idea of employment LOL

I, too, am thankful Amber's friend is okay. A bad day turned to a good day. Sort of.

I have a family that doesn't fight, a best friend who loves me, a DD who calls me, a job to go to, a hubby who understands.

Thankful for making it another year (b-day today) Thankful for my wonderful furbabies, hubby and fairly secure employment. Also VERY thankful for DG and all of you!

I'm thankful the light by the back door works again. And hopefully, the leaking window right by it will soon no longer leak! We're getting a few things fixed. And in light of the financial mess the country is in, I'm thankful we still have a little money to get these things taken care of.
