BJ, at least you'll eat seafood! Our niece won't even touch it! Poor Stacey.
Kel had an aversion to seafood, until I cooked it for 2 straight weeks!!! Reformed him.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, none of my son's would touch seafood until very recently.
When they were in the Navy in VA Beach, all three of them went to a seafood restaurant and all three got sick from it... along with one of their friends... they wouldn't eat seafood again until this year, my youngest will eat a little fish now... but nothing else.
They swear that the sea creatures are out to get us all, and are going to take over the world when they kill us off... LOL... I do think they're kidding.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

That cartoonist, Gary Larson of The Far Side Gallery, once drew cows and heifers dining on us humans.

Daddy loved pickled pigs feet............
I always said if it was edible, I would try most things one time as long as it doesn't bite back, hince possum, armadillo, rattlesnake, octopus, squid, sea cucumber, alligator, goat (yes Laura, you had it in Taiwan), chitton (a strange little sea creature), eels, sashimi (raw fish) put enough wasabi on it you can eat almost anything, can't taste it but you can eat it...LOL!

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

Hi. I wondered where all you guys hung out. BJ sent me a link, so you can blame her that I'm lurking around.!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Lurk all you want, Lorraine... but chat with us too... ok? Glad you made it.

Fairy Lips... yes, it's washable... you can wash the bottom insert... but don't put that part in the dryer... just let it air dry... the bag should get better with each wash.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Thank you sooo much Auties!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bag!!! And I can't wait to order some patterns-I am going to make VERY careful selections:)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Stacey, that bag is sooo pretty. And your color too!!! BJ, I think you made her a happy little tinky fairy! ^_^
Now you will have something to take on your shopping trip to fill with goodies.

Audrey, Sage and Melanie liked that joke; though I had to explain that a rabbit was also a hare before they got it.

On the animal conspiracy, check this out Cows with Guns http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQMbXvn2RNI

Mom, well I said at least I didn’t remember what it tasted like, I was 6 after all.

General, I’ll try anything once but brains, monkey/ape, dolphin, octopus, whale, um… human? I’m sure there are a couple other animals that might be as smart as us, I’m against eating other sentients and brains are just dangerous. It does have to be edible, as in I see someone else eat it first.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Stacey you lucky B-Day girl you....BJ I love that purse you made my colors yep yep yep they are lol. If you were to look in my closet you would see nothing but all shades of purples. I once wanted a dark purple couch oh it was beautiful.

Stacey is there a website for that Sherwood place?

And I guess I have to thank ALL MY AUNTIES AND FRIENDS for the GC to Sherwood-THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

My very favorite art at Sherwood is the Darlings... you make one each boy and girl... then make seasonal outfits for them... now, how cute are those?

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

I've been to "Sherwood Forest" but it's not much these days.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, I hope you get someone trained pretty soon, Phyllis... cause we're sure missing your wit her ...

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

BJ, those little darlins are so cute, but it looks like you have to make each one for each season. I don't see where the clothes are removeable?
LK

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes... they are separate ... almost bought that pattern for Don... but he didn't think so at the time.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

LK.. if you click on "little darlings" on the left of that page... you can see the basic #1122 pattern for the girl and boy... the rest of them are just clothes patterns.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh my gosh, how cute is that. That would look so cute in the yard somewhere!
Thanks for pointing that out.
LK

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I was eyeballing them-and the crawling skeleton;)

I am going to eat a bowl of cereal, then take my sherwoood catalog and go to bed-yak at cha all tomorrow:)

The Banana Test

There is a very, very tall coconut tree and there are 4 animals,
a Lion, a Chimpanzee, a Giraffe, and a Squirrel , who pass by.
They decide to compete to see who is the fastest to get a banana off the tree.
Who do you guess will win?
Your answer will reflect your personality. So think
carefully . . .. Try and answer within 30 seconds Got your answer?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Chimp

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

nope

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

giraffe?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

It's a COCONUT TREE, Phyllis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

LOL
Oh my, I think she got it!!!!
LK

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Lolol... since when do you get bananas off coconut trees :P

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL... DARN... you got me... sheesh

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

If your answer is:
Lion = you're dull.
Chimpanzee = you're a mor
Giraffe = you're a complete id
Squirrel = you're just hopelessly stu
A COCONUT TREE DOESN'T HAVE BANANAS.
Obviously you're stressed and overworked.
You should take some time off and relax!
Try again next year.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

If you're a moron, I'm the oxymoron, BJ!!
Lolol.. this is like the question, if you see an electric train running from East to West, which way would the smoke blow...

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I sure gotta watch you girls... you're tricky.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)
