Debra-the roosters are Kathy's;)

LK-you should be going up to favorites, and selecting "add to favorites" to save the link...

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Ooops! It sure is. Guess my brain thought it was you, Stacey, as a b-day gift.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

That is what I am doing. I click on add to favorites, then select a folder to save it in, but then it tells me there is no folder. So then I try to create a new folder, and get another notice that I can't do that because it already exist????
Going in circles, and getting very frustrated? Who do I contact for this. I posted in the computer forum, so maybe they can help?
Linda Kay

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I have never savede them in a folder-I just save them....

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

LK... I just talked to Don... he said you might have accidentally dragged your favs to another place on your hard drive.
Here's what he thinks you should do...
Do a search on your C drive for the name of one of the folders in your favorites... and then look to see if they're there... all your "favorite" folders should be in the same location.
Once you find them, you can drag them back where they belong.

He said he's done that before, not to panic just yet.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

OH...BTW... GOOD MORNING SISTAHS

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

OK, I found thenm the games folder, now how do I move them back?
BJ, thanks for helping me find them.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Are they all in your games folder in your favorites?
If so... you click on each one, hold the mouse button down, and drag it down, out of the folder. Drag them all out of the folder, then you can re organize them the same way.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

No they are not in my favorites, they are on the c drive under saved games. Don't know how to move them back.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Ok, then... I'm sure they belong somewhere under your WINDOWS folder on your C drive... just not sure where... you might need to call a Techie person to find that out... Don doesn't remember either.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Well, I just found out the in the c drive under saved games, when I double click one of them, it opens in a new window, so maybe I can just open each one and re save it? Thanks for the help Don. I now know I did not loose them comletely!
Thanks
Linda Kay

Spread the Stupidity

Only in America ......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in America ......do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

Only in America ......do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

Only in America ......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the
driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

Only in America ......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

Only in America ......do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

Only in America ......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

EVER WONDER ....

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin ?

Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

LK... here's a site that might help you with relocating your "favs" folder.
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_favorites.htm

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I tried that site, but I use windows vista. Thanks for the help.
Linda

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

BJ, that's a useful site. I saved that.
Niece, if I were not to organize my favorite sites into folders and sub-folders, I'll take forever into looking for a specific site!!!

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

I had ceral and hot tea for breakfast. Boy the hot tea was good this morning! Besides it being cold, it’s mold season so my allergies are annoyed. I can’t wait for a good killing freeze; that usually takes care of my Fall allergies. It’s seems like it’s a bad year for me; Spring we had everything grow at once due to the cold wet Spring followed by hot sunny weather, now the mold and mushrooms are taking over. Even if I had the energy there are just too many allergy causer in my yard to get rid of.

Linda Kay, its 45 degrees here and Sage’s school is having Spirit week so it’s pajama day. She doesn’t have “warm” pajamas, so she wanted to wear her thermals; I almost said no, but I guess the school is heated so it’s just walking to school and back that she’s going to freeze. I did make her wear a bathrobe.

Cindy, I have a low natural body temp., 97.6, and I have low blood pressure; I get cold so easy.

Jaye, that’s great, though in my experience sheep do stink when it rains.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hiya Laura! I'm not ready for temps below 60!
Next time I return to Louisiana, I'll make sure to check whether the sheep do shrink in the rain!! AND as for them being odoriferous...yep, I agree. But they make good bbq meat, if you fed them corn for a month before slaughtering.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

sorry I forgot the coffee this am was trying to get the cinn.rolls for bosses day in the car and off to work as I picked up another diver on my way in.

just poppin in real quick before route time again

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Phyllis, how is the new job going? Still filling in, it looks like?
Laura, how old is Sage. What grade is she in? Allergies are getting bad all over the place. Lots of pollen, and molds... Take care.
BJ, how are you doing today? You call the Dr. yet?

LK

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

That's okay Phyllis. No one's complaining on the instant coffee served :D
Just missing the sweets.. poor, poor sistahs!
Soon you'll be served doughnuts or cinnies, you're a 'boss' yourself!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Oh, I have a spoon rest and salt and pepper that match your roosters!!!!! How cool!!

Cold and damp here today.....may have to build a fire!

Okay Stacey and Laura......you two are the goulish Halloween girls......I was taking pics around the farmers market today.....this one is for you two....

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Ok, I don't believe the story that sheep shrink in the rain. LOL Y'alls pulling my leg. Jaye I've never ate mutton(?) or lamb, but I have ate goat bbq. Does it taste the same?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Goat is stronger unless marinate.
A few months ago, we dined at an Indian restaurant and I ordered Goat Briyani (just to see whether I'd have a reaction). Delicious.. the meat was marinate in yoghurt.
Funny thing was I was allergic to goat meat when I was young, but never sheep.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

If you have never been around wet sheep, you are in for a shock. Make sure you have a clothespin ready. All animals smell when wet, dogs, cats, cows, goats, and sheep. Whew!!!! Goat and sheep is good, if prepared and cooked properly, but if you cook it too fast, it can be one of the toughest meets to eat.
Linda Kay

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Deborah, my ex late dad raised sheep. He never slaughtered lamb for food, always full grown sheep. That's what most old Cajuns do. They'd penned their sheep or hog for a month and fed them only corn before slaughtering. I don't know whether he did the same with his cows.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Well that's what folks do around here with a caged possum. Feed them out on corn for about a month. Possum and sweet potatoes, humm humm good.

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Jaye, I love lamb and mutton! DH isn’t too fond of it and it’s expensive, so I don’t get it often, and mutton is rare to find short of a farm or similar seller.

Linda Kay, Sage is 7 and in 2nd Grade.

Deborah, I would love to try goat, but have never had the chance as far as I know, if I did when I was young I don’t remember. I love goat cheese though.

Are you on What cook with the squirrel? thread http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/911439/#new if not you should post that factoid there.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Deb, you can have my share of the 'possum!!

Happy anniversite BJ an Don!

BJ, I didn't get the flannel, gonna wait till next month. I spent to much at my kids' house!

I lost y'all for a while. That's why you didn't hear from me. I called my DR. this morning about my meds and he doubled my antidepressant, so maybe I'll get back on track soon!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Praying your meds work real soon for you Audrey. I know it can take a bit to get your body adjusted to the new meds. Glad to see you posting again.

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Speaking of meds... I took the last of the ones that have been messing with me this morning!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I've never eaten goat, either, though I had the chance, it stinks! Like chittlin's! I used to make a mean bbq coon, though!

Here's a receipe for elephant stew:

Take 2 elephants, cut into bite sized cubes.
Clean 3 bushels of carrots, cut into pieces and add to the elephant cubes.
Add 4 bushels of sliced red onions.
Add about 4 bushels of diced potatoes.
Cover with water, add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 3 days. At noon on the third day, add 2 rabbits. DON'T PUT MORE THAN 2 RABBITS IN!! Noone likes to find a hare in their stew!

Good Afternoon All,

I'm sorry but goat, possom, etc. yukky for me. I'll stick with beef, pork and chicken.

I found another lump on Bucky,(my dog) I just hope it's not another Mast Cell Tumor, have appt at 2:50. This one is about the size of pea so I hope it will be quick.

I made a Lemon Meringue pie, that is the only kind of pie I can make that doesn't need a decent looking crust.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL cute Audrey

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh Deborah, possum is greasy!!! Love lamb, last mutton I had was past it's prime so now sure about that. No one hear will eat lamb so it is a rare treat when I get to have some.

BJ hope you and Don are ready for your backyard vacation. Ah to relax!!

Just dropped in a few minutes, really tired. Was at school by 8 am to spend the morning with my youngest GD. Oh what fun but oh what aching bones now!! There should be a law about chairs being that low to the ground and small. Of course, they are perfect for the kids but Grandma just had trouble. It was a very interesting busy morning and truly did enjoy the morning.

Debra, how is the craft show? Waiting anxiously for your report.

Hi Kathy. The Everglades seaoning is a favorite of our for meats and veggies. Yea, really good on cooked turnips. As odd as that sounds it is good, of course you need a pone of cornbread to go with them.

Well off to rest my bod for awhile.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

No backyard vacation today...it's cold, cloudy and over all yucky outside... Don's taking a nap, and I just got home from Walmart... I'm IN for the rest of the day.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Ewww Audrey!! No hair nor bristles in my stew.. and forget about pigs' snouts or pig tails!!!
Poor Marion. You're gonna have a date with Ben Gay tonight? I'd take a couple Advils and do nothing at all after that!! It's just not the low chairs that make us suffer, but those couches that sink forever...try getting up from them!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm with Cindy... I'll just stick to the beef, chicken and pork... thank you very much.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

I like Pig FEET!!! Pickled or mealed and deep fried! Y'all don't know what good eatin' is. Only beef, chicken and pork, BJ? Come on and live a little on the wild side. WHAAAAAA.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Deborah, the wild side of me had eaten snails, fish eggs or the genteel side would say.. escargot, caviar!! Lolol!!
But no to pigs feet sorry. Tried hogs head cheese, didn't like it neither. But I do like blood pudding sausage.. hope not to make anyone sick here :P

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Ok, besides beef, chicken, and pork... I will eat shrimp, crab, and lobster tail.
But.. that's as wild as I get... sorry.

And, the only organ meat I like is chicken and beef liver.

I don't get real adventurous with foods... some things are just plain gross.
