Just for you folks.. come on over..
cute chickens are .. well cute
but sooner or later they will feed you!
I can't believe the poultry forum beat us.
I know, and I need to do some painting this winter.... (gleeful clapping)
Now I want to make custard .......
awe .... adorable!
Awwww....one of Harmony's dove babies.....so cute! Harmony is a dove and pigeon expert.
This is so great of you poultry people to come over here and give the NE forum your hits!
Cute little chicks.
Whooo hoooo well it looks like the NE won the # of posts contest this week (with the help of the chicken folks). Doves! Harmony has doves! I would luv to have those. Where do you chat about doves? With the chicken folks? The Birds folks?
Give that baby a blanket until he grows some hair!!!! lol
Im learning how to knit. i think I could knit a baby chicken blanket. Let see. 4" x 4" and maybe some loops for the legs?
and a hoodie for the bad hair gloria. They would need to keep the bad hair warm too methinks. Good idea.
Eat your grits little chicks and grow big and strong like War Eagle!!!

cool. I want one of those too! On second thought no, it would eat all my other birds.
this guy has a 6 ft wingspan. He flies over the crowd before the Auburn Football games.
Go War Eagle!!!
He was in my field this spring and he is one of the ones who ate all my little bunnies. Him and his friend Owl.
It's OK....tis the way of the food chain. One of the neighbors actually was so upset he went out and bought 5 more rabbits this fall. I just noticed one heading for the cabbage and brussel sprouts in my garden!!! UGH! The neighbor is not to bright..he buys ones that are domesticated and wonders why they don't survive out here in the wild. DUH!
Prairie gophers and field mice are the main diet here for the hawks and eagles. I'm thinkin that a chicken may just magically appear in my garden. Of course I will have to get it a dog licence to stay legal. I will offically call it a chick-a-poo in the paperwork.
Rabbits are lunch for just about everybody out there in wild places.
My greyhound puppy even attacked one of my prized New Zealands and did him in.
I still have Henry - who looks like Troy in the picture above. Henry doesn't wear glasses though.
Oh, but Celeste, they do survive - in YOUR garden lol
dahlianut, I love it - a new breed - Chick-a-poo. Make sure you register it.

There once was a rabbit from Greensboro ......
I'd better stop there.
I just love my rabbit. I don't have any chickens - although my mom had them at home. We did have some bantum chickens once - the roosted on the telephone wires. Most of them were done in by my coyote puppy.
My neighbor has peacocks and a herd of goats.
I love living in a community of animals but it is a disaster when one of them eats another one.

The frog he would a-wooin' go .... um hummmmm ..... um hummmmmm
I guess the question should be "what does Mistress Mouse think of these latest developments??"

I thought more of he sat down and cried.............
Claire what are you doing to these poor unsuspecting people you have them acting like us over on the poultry forum...
Beware Nor Easters Claire is addicting she comes in and before you know it your singing silly tunes and eating cyber cookies!!
And watching for heliocopters with loudspeakers giving instructions about chicken rules and regulations. Over and Out!
I think Mistress Mouse is worried about those hatchlings around Mr. Froggy.
Harmony.....SHHHHH!!! Don't tell them!!! We are covertly integrating them into chickenhood.
Dang it, I TOLD those 'copter pilots to use the cloaking device...
I have been thinking about getting an Esmirelda Juniorita ......
