Looking good Deb still nice and green, the plants here have that orangey fall look to them. No frost yet but things are getting kind of stringy looken.
all my stuff out back is still full and lush, I am very lucky;) I did however, cut down and pull out the Zinnias, and the monarda that had mildew on them, didn't want my Roses' getting any of that! Did you know that english Ivy blooms? I swear it does! mine bloomed this year for the first time ever in 20 years and I have the pics and the seeds ;)

Yes Deb today I do feel better. I am sitting up and can walk around. Maybe that doesn't sound good but believe me it is a lot better. It will be a long while but I think I will make a full recovery. I would guess I'm looking at 6 to 8 weeks before I would be considered well.
Well Donna take it easy one day at time and you will be better...............James

Morning all! Sneaking in for a sec to say hello. I get to visit with Mama until lunchtime and then she'll be gone :( It is quite a drive, 3 1/2 - 4 hours) to where she is at, so I don't get to visit her often. I was with her every day of my life just about because I've always lived in the same town as her but my only sister married and moved off many, many years ago and only got to see Mama once or twice a year. So we have sort of traded places and now Nelda gets to spoil and love on Mama and make up for years that she didn't have. It is working out wonderfully, but it has certainly placed a hole in my heart to have her all these years and now have her so far away.
The important thing is that she is thriving, better than she has been in years and I am so happy for her! The weekend was everything I wanted it to be. Thank you all sister hotties for your sweet comments!
I'm sure happy we have leftover BBQ for supper tonight too, so no cooking!!!! I plan on being in the yard all afternoon, re-checking my RU list and marking pots. Love you all, Karen
WOW i missed allot... you guys are so great i love all of your attitudes. im not 50 yet but i have an old soul . my house kids and dogs got the best of me yesterday . i had to rid the dogs of flees and clean .. oops wash my mouth out . and clip the birds wings she let me this time . i didnt even get outside once ... im working on a lasagna bed . its almost covered in plastic i just did a layer of cardboard/newspaper / paper bags .. alfalfa pellets and clear plastic to cook it . its working .. i stuck my hand in there to get a rock out and it was HOT.. james glad your moved in now comes the real work lol .. donna i dont know what happened but i get happy when i see all these people get so happy that you feel better and i get happy too .
lav , im gonna have to tell my mom that ,her dh is younger than my oldest sister . shes kind of self conscious about that . which is surprising its the only thing ive ever seen her be that way about lol. its so like her go marry a younger man .. she is refusing to get old .actually my dad was 8 yrs younger too lol ...
i got a passi the other day incense .. why am i a plant hoarder and i have many seeds coming what am i gonna do.. coffee tree seeds , red carnation (the big ones)seeds , bird of paradise , tomatoes ... my dh turned the garage into a plant nursery .. he set up grow lights ... hes so sweet he knows i need thing s to keep my mind busy wile hes gone .karen your mom walking is soo great ..every one have a good day!!

Iris...I know how your Mom feels. When Will started chasing me around, I did not want anything to do with him. I kept thinking that is just wrong! Luckily it is not that uncommon nowadays. Believe me I never really wanted someone younger. It just happened!

Morning everyone, I am asking what this moth is. It was inside one of my double purple dats that opened this morning. It looks like his tail, has a small brush on it, and he was like fanning the little things down in the plant. Sorry, I don't know all the parts of the plants. But it was odd to see him there. Just wondering what it is?

yeaaaaa, good news hotties, checked my morning glory bush cuttings this morning and two had already put out little leaves. so i guess u can root them in potting soil. the question is, actualy two questions, who do they go too? only one to a person. next, how do i get them to u? its gonna b cold soon and they r not ready yet.
