(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Of course! I was seeing that but saying the other!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Boy I must have confused the lot of you...not used to instructing without the individual at hand...have patience all..we'll survive this project I'm sure...

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

betty your doing a fine job so far :oD

I guess its just my mathmatical brain that sees the x as 'times' but my brain really did know that it was 'by' lol!

Glenview, IL

Yep Betty, you are doing awsom...It's not easy to give direction and step by step instruction...via computer.

And having us do the gown while we wait was a brilliant idea...

Did i tell you i got a new glue gun? Used it last night to glue my face.
but ohoh, I think my little balls are too big, they are 2 in, so back tracking to look at the size they are suppose to be just in case.

How ya doing Deborah??

Ok..day at office done! See you later.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Well, Judy, since you asked LOL, I'm running out the door to workshop to get the tape. BBL

lol, love that the kitty s guarding the package :) teehee!

Victoria Harbour, ON

More likely she wants to play with the pretties...

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Bet she would have a good time playing with the hair if she could get into the bag! Can't you just see her rolled up in a ball of santa beard? LOL!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Wouldn't be funny lol! It's such fragile hair, must be handled with care...
OMG drove in snow for about 30 miles, the other 70 was heavy rain..better get used to it I guess...

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Snow already? Geesh ..... I'll stay down here where we don't get snow until WINTER. lol!

Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

Snow already, Betty? I hope it isn't headed our way. I have too many places to go before the 1st part of December and hope the weather will cooperate. When my kids want to spend Thanksgiving, bake cookies, etc. at their house (they have more room) it is wonderful but it means at 2-3 hour drive for me in winter weather. My timing has to be just right.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Let's hope it was just a 'taste' and won't get anything significant until December...just for you all!!!

Wind is so strong out there, am sure it could pick me up ... now that's windy..lol

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Afternoon everyone.
Betty, I hope your not getting too cold. Make sure you dress warm, and please take care of that ear. How are you feeling today? better I hope?

I am waiting for my vet to call me. I had to take my siberian husky in for emergency porcupine removal surgery. I woke up this morning, and found him with a bunch of 2 inch quills in his nose. He is supposed to be ready this afternoon sometime.

take care.

Linda Kay, I had a german sheppard as well when we lived on the bay, 3 times in 2 days we made the trip, Roger said he took a liking to the 'drugs' and the feeling they gave him...lol...our vet said dogs do one of 2 things...they either never go near them or they go hunting them..the latter is what my dog did...not fun for them...mine had them on the inside of the mouth...Roger tried to pull the quills with plyers, she was a very docile dog, but it would have been just too painful.. expensive week..lol

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh my, 3 times in one week, I can't imagine what that was like. One trip to the vet is enough!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Betty the card I mailed you last week came back to me for not having enough postage stamps on it. I forgot Canada was considered international mail. So, it's fixed and will be in tomorrows mail. Please forgive the delay.

Victoria Harbour, ON

LOL that's ok..I'll be rich another day!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Betty you will have more to look forward to, mine is finally in the mail also!!! Appreciate your patience!

Victoria Harbour, ON

The Santa kits truly are in the mail..postal sheets on all...I had them all done up, think I may have included someone twice..we'll see...

Forgot to mention I did have a little hitch..was trying to add the batting as well as I didn't think it would take up much place in the envelopes...but did..might have done 1 or 2 but the others I couldn't..sorry...thought it would help you out...shipping was I believe $7.20 or $7.40..not to worry with the exchange it almost covered it...so let's call it even...

Looking forward to your kits arriving without having broken "santa faces" shipped 2 faces in each..the one smaller could still be used as the only thing you really end up seeing is the flesh colored part of the santa face....

Let me know when yours arrives..

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

oh goodie mail is coming our way ...love getting fun things in the mail ...thank you so much Betty for all your hard work doing this for us!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Betty, Thank you so much for put making these kits, and all your hard work, putting them together for us. I can't wait to get the package, and start putting them together. When were they mailed, and how long will it take to get here? So we can watch the mailbox. No big deal on the batting here. Most of us have it or maybe some pillow stuffing laying around.
This is going to be so much fun.

Hopefully by Friday you should have received them...not sure..I posted them from Toronto rather than here in Victoria Harbour..usually it takes about 3 or 4 days just to get to Toronto post office because it has to make a stop 2 times en-route so by posting in the city it will at least save a few days..

Not a problem, will enjoy seeing your projects...that's my reward...

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I will let you know as soon as they arrive.
Linda Kay

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Whoo Hooo!

Santa Clause is coming to town ...... !

Victoria Harbour, ON

Judy, come on girl, photo please...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Bought yardage yesterday for Caleb's costume..needed fur..imagine $34.99 yard.. or was it $38.99 I don't know, closed my eyes so it wouldn't hur..anyway I though strips could be cut and applied to the hood as well..will try one to see...

What you all can do if you are ever near a dollar store is look for those cheap little 6" wreaths..one wire that holds them together...I cut it to go around the neck...looks 'cool' lol

Each of you though can decorate yours as it suits you...

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Keep the ideas, coming Betty. I need all the help I can get!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh Betty, he could even be holding a wreath, or a wrapped present, or a small candle instead of a bag, or a staff???
I am having a hard time finding the little decrations here. Our Wal-Mart really is lacking in the craft department, and no other stores for 160 miles!!! But I think I can get some vines from the garden, and make a small wreath?
You have any pictures of the wreath around his neck?

Linda Kay

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm gonna look at the $Tree! They should have lots of goodies now!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Linda, go to the Garden Center, they should have Christmas decorations out by now, they do here. They have oodles of tiny stuffies you can use! Tiny wrapped pressies, candy canes, etc!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I will go check this week-end. Thanks for the ideas.

Well if it's difficult to find decorations how about using burlap (you know the kind that you wrap around your trees in winter time)...nooooo of course you don't, you all enjoy sunshine..oh well was a thought...you could make a little bag, tied with cording..think I have some, will make one..simple, cut out a square, little stuffing within and tie...
