Yep that's it but it's says "retro' what do they mean by that? BJ are going to buy that one for Don LOL

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

No, Cindy... he can use the mixing bowl... it's just the right size for a bag of popcorn.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Good job, BJ. I searched ebay also but didn't find that. I entered Holland Mold popcorn - was too narrow of a search criteria.

Going outside to get a few things done, then come in to clean up and back to sewing. too nice right now to be indoors.

Later gators!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I promised the doc I would take it easy, and hubby too, so it is to the computer to check on all my sisters, more coffee, then to the sofa to prop it up for awhile. I have to keep an eye on the guys out fron pouring the new driveway, but I promise I will be taking it easy. I can't ruin the chance to go see BJ, and all the other sisters that will be at the tyler round up next week-end!!! ^_^
Talk about pictures, I will have my camera with me at all times!!!
Marion, enjoy your Mexican lunch today.
BJ, out some ice on your sore neck, it will help.
Later
LK

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Where is everyone.
Ladies I pray you all have a safe and wondeful week-end.
Linda Kay

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Hi LK, I'm here. Probably nice weather everywhere and they've all scattered! I've been outside some myself. Now cleaned up and ready to sew a while.

What have you been doing today besides keeping your foot propped and supervising the driveway crew?

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I am back and did I ever enjoy my lunch!! That is the funniest group of people I have been around in awhile. I expected they would be talking school work but do everything but.... They just have alots in common and all have terrific senses of humor!!
Lunch was outstanding but it always is, that's why we go there. You know you have been going to long when you walk in the door and the person there tells you where your daughter is seated!!!

Didn't get to go to the nursery as the mums I needed to bring home were so big I didn't have any room left!!

BTW, I saw gas for 3.28 gal. I could not believe it!!

So how is everyone doing? BJ is doing errands on the scooter? Kathy, have you done anything with the hand?

Deborah, I need to talk to you really badly. One of the teachers is from Colquett--grew up there. Curious if you know the family. He is really good looking and funny as they came.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

When I got home fouhgt w/ DH, then went outside and put up halloween decore-about to do the inseide stuff now-BBlater

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Bummer, Stacey! That's no way to start off your Friday evening. Hope you and DH worked things out.

Marion, sounds like a great afternoon. Laughter is good for the soul, eh?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Stacey, it's only been 7 years... don't be like that with him. Make up, then ya'll put up decorations together.

Marion, NOPE not getting on the scooter. Did my errands in Don's car. Went to the garage first, and they told me that I had to take it to the dealership for the repair, since they can't get to the part that needs to be replaced. So, I came home and called the dealership to make an appointment, and they tell me that it can't be THAT so I need to bring it in to have it put on the diagnostic machine to find out what is causing the problem. So, we'll do that Wednesday.
BUT, I am so infuriated about the whole thing. Don and I thought it was probably the fuel filter... sounds simple.. right? BUT noooooo... Hyundai put the fuel filter inside the fuel pump, which is encased inside the gas tank... no "John Q Mechanic" is going to touch that. So, the only way to get it fixed to to take it to the dealership... part is $40, labor is $100... that's $140 to replace a fuel filter... sounds like rape to me. And there's no way around it, they've got us trapped into taking it to them...

Debra... the purse is in the washer now... pictures soon.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

That stinks, BJ. Can't wait to see your purse!

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

BJ are you sure that is the problem my Dh said unless you got into some bad gas you usually don't need to replace it ..my car is the same way its a mitsubishi though

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

No, I'm not sure that's what is it... the dealership said it shouldn't have to be changed till 100K miles... and we're not near that yet... so, they're going to look into it before they do anything.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

what is the problem?? DH says to try using some of the gas cleaner/dryer ..it is a gas line moisture dryer cleaner ...back in Illinois ti was called heat not sure what they carry down here but I knwo we had to use some in daughters ca this last year and that took care of her problem.....oh and so you know DH was a mechanic ...worked on tractors, buses and did almost all of the car work for our cars and family members.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

BJ love the colors and it really looks great. You and Debra are on a roll now.

Waving to Kim the exotic. Miss seeing you post more often.

Phyllis isn't it great to have a mechanic in the family!!! Son paid alot of his college expenses working as a mechanic on the side. He still keeps up their cars as well as mine. He is in the process of rebuilding a 1967 mustang fastback now among other things.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Waving back to ya Marion!! I mostly read when I can..I just can't keep up with ya'll ^_^

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

ooooo cool ..my dream car is a 67 cougar convertible with sequential tail lights ....hahahahaha...notice I said DREAM...as they aren't easy to find and I'm sure cost more then I can afford to get and fix up but yes it is nice it does save on the cost of repairs

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

He traded his restored 67 firebird convertible for the mustang. Why I don't know but he did.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

mm not my dream car but I would take that too LOL

waving good night. am now 6 threads behind in my reading. my prayers to all in pain or sickness.
m
have loaded and unloaded one pickup load of compost, and one of wood chip mulch. dug 17 clumps of iris just because I want to put all the dwarfs and medians up front. weeding weeding weeding. designing and building new dripline irrigation system like the one I saw at PDN.

The appraiser we've been waiting on for five weeks, so we can value the house for the IRS (they are demanding we pull out our "equity") showed up yesterday. cleaning up for him, and showing him around, put me a day behind schedule in the garden. wish us luck on trying to get a refinance.

Sweet, peaceful dreams to all. my aching back and i are headed for bed.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

BJ, did you make the purse? I like it! I want one, too! Do you have instructions for it?

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes, I am calling it a night also. Busy running today and feel very relaxed for a change. Going to grab my pillow and go to bed.

Good night all.

Raleigh, NC

I'm making sour milk *like buttermilk* waffles for breakfast. Everyone's invited.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I'll be there!! What time? Don't do early on weekends. LOL

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't do early, PERIOD. But buttermilk pancakes could persuade me to get up, for sure.

Yes, Audrey... got the instructions from Debra. That one is for my middle g'daughter. Working on the youngest g'daughter one now.

I'm done for tonight too... neck is hurting again... darn, I hate it when that happens.

Night all.

BJ my MIL has Cadillac SUV......she had a headlight go out....she got it in to the dealership 2 days before the warranty was up....it took them several hours and would have been almost $400 if she had not been under warranty. This one headlight you almost have to dismantle the vehicle to get to it........I liked my old 64 MG Midget.....had 8 moving parts and 4 of them were the wheels!! My dream is a fully restored 53 Dodge Pickup Truck!!! That's what we had on the farm when I was a kid and I loved that truck....don't know why, I just did.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

BJ-I wasn't being like anything-truly-DH needs time to himself to ponder after any kind of argument-small or large-if I don't give him that space it ends up being worse-it wasn't bad-by the time I was done w/ the decor, everything was fine:) And for what I thought was going to be HUGE, it really wasn't-I had nearly worried myself sick over nothing really....

I had a car a few yrs back-a grand prix-it cost $400 to replace the fuel filter and clean the fuel injection in it (the injection part was only $60 of the bill), so the $140 doesn't sound too bad to me. Mine was at like 120,000miles though so that is why mine had to be done-it was so gunked up it wouldn't allow the gas through. This was back in 1997.

I LOVE the purse!! ONe of these days after MIL moves closer, I will have to figure out how to do one-they are soooo cute and just my style-you are some super talented ladies!! Great job!!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Gosh, go to bed early and miss out on the debut. Darn. Great job, BJ! Love the chenille. What did you decide to do with the handles? Anything other than batting?

Hey, Bon, where are you? I'm sitting here with butter and syrup ..... licking my lips.....

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Debra, nope... just the batting in the handles.

The one I'm making now, I'm not using batting at all ... I've substituted white flannel instead, cut to the same size as the squares so it will fray along with the cotton. I didn't use chenille either... just didn't go with the "John Deer" print. I'm also changing up the handles a bit.

I thought I smelled those buttermilk pancakes too, so I got up early.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Morning Ladies-I have been soooo lonely waiting for someone to get up;)

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Morning!!!! got any sausage :P ???

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I figured you were up this morning trying to get it all straight on the Co op.. Sheesh... I don't know how you're doing that... there's a lot of orders there.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I don't know either!!LOL I am about to send out a blast with things that are about to be dropped and things that are full and stuff-I have several sets of "benchmark" #ers for everythign and if I see that we are trying real hard to get to even that first mark, that is where I will cut it off...
