Best/Worse &What did I learnt today/Chat with Friends #61

Middleton, WI(Zone 4b)

bad week. pile of daff and pink tulip bulps on the entry way bench. Coco mulch bag on my potting bench in the garage. half a truck of regular mulch back by the evergreens. It was a get chewed out week, cold, damp, and not fun week. This weekend I really feel much more like a movie at a real theater than a dvd kind of day.

My gardens are my peace-of-mind place but geez louise I hate this cold weather.

Crozet, VA

Hello to everyone - Judy, I am so sorry that your hard work has to be re-done. I would be angry in that situation too.

Betty, I don't have a picture of the Rose Campion, sorry. It is a rather tallish (two foot) flower that sends out single color fushcia blooms which are about an inch wide. The leaves on it are a very light green, almost gray and are fuzzy feeling.

I can send you some seed, if you'd like. Let me know.

It is Friday. Have a good one all.

Gita..you are inspiring me..LOL
I have never cut back my Hostas..but I am thinking about trying to do a few to see the difference.
I have over 70 hostas..in several different areas...so that is a lot of work. In the spring the Hosta beds are covered in apple tree leaves so they have to be raked anyway.

Hello Duck..

Morning Liz! How nice to hear from you. Standstill doesn't sound good. Hoping it gets better soon. Do miss you!

Judy so sorry for all that hard work that has to be redone. I probably would of cried also. That fire sounds so nice. We had a freeze last night. So I had some plants out. Hope they are okay. If not oh well. I won't fret about it.

Yesterday it rained on and off. So didn't work outside. Hope today is nicer so I can. Lots to do out there.

Starzz love that hosta bed. Cute decorations you got. I need a fall drive. The leaves are looking pretty here also.

Betty are you using the shoulder too much it isn't getting better?

Hello Duck! Did you have the same weather yesterday?

Gita that is a lot of work in one day.

After 3 hard days at work I kind of took yesterday off. Felt good but I also felt guilty. So much to do.

Better get going and get the day started again. Was up early puttering around the house. Now to start that again!

Crozet, VA

Really lovely Hosta garden, Starzz. Good to see you posting Liz.

Nice Pics!! Betty, you have given me an idea for my fireplace. It's really small and the wood has to be cut in about 3" length pieces, so I'm just going to put a bunch of candles in it, it's never been used anyway. What a morning, got into an argument with one of the other secretaries, she's so far behind she thinks she's ahead. I don't know if it should've made me mad or not, but I got mad nevertheless. Someone mentioned if we watched the Vice Presidential Debate last night, I said I had to turn it off about 3/4 of the way through because Palin's voice was getting on my last nerve, not that my voice isn't annoying cause I know it is. I simply said, not saying one way or the other, "Man, Biden has a soft side to his voice like my dad does." She said, "So does the devil!" I said, "Whatever." She said, "I'm entitled to my opinion!" I said, "Yes you are, I just said Whatever." Would that have made others mad? Just wondering. Dang I am so tired today it is unbelievable, I'm glad I'm home this weekend and wishing I would've never agreed to go to Shreveport last weekend. Mainly because I'm going to be gone next weekend for a conference and RU. Just too much going without Dave going with me.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, thank goodness I've come here now to post otherwise I'd be saying 'good afternoon'...enjoying my morning...stopped and bought new shoes, Dr. Scholls so should be comfy (Carol, bought sandle type shoes when I was in Chicago...toooo cold for them) they are not as stylish as I would have like, but they are comfy..why is my left foot so much bigger than the right..hmmm took them off already about 5 times to check the size, one would have thought checking once would have been enough..lol...

My witch is looking fabulous, amazing how much painting one can get done in a morning.. thought on my way home I'd drop in to the Dollarama to see if there are any type of halloween pendant that I could apply to her shawl...takes quite a bit of painting, of course she'll not get done today, but sure made a go at it...

Liz, I'm so pleased you've posted..worry about you especially now that you say the Halloween Decorations might not be put out...Liz that's your most favorite time in the whole year, you must take them out, know you don't feel like it, but it will give you 'joy' to do so..you know once you look around the neighborhood or other communities and see theirs that it will make you have a heavy heart...please, into the boxes this weekend, get at least some of it out...a must...and no staying away from the thread for so long....we love you and miss those posts....

Vicki it's an old injury from a vehicle accident, raises it's ugly head here and there...a for sure sign to get it going is 'stress' not work..if you've gotten frost then it can't be very far behind for me...have all plants I'll over winter already inside, however, Bernice across the street had giant size geraniums for me..better pay her a visit this afternoon...another hour and 1/2 and it's homeward bound...excited about that... looking around this office I'll need the 1/2 to clean up my paints and mess...

Carol do you rake EVERY garden??? omg, that's a tremendous amount of work..wouldn't it be better to do it in the spring and leave it for nourishment and plant protection?? Won't be able to rake with my shoulders being so bad but thought next weekend being our Thanksgiving that perhaps after looking at the Canadian Tire flyer they have fan rakes, discounted to $5.00 so if I went and bought a few maybe I could put all those boys to work??? Wouldn't be nice of me would it...

Don't know about your area but we don't get Michael's flyers anymore, no discount coupons, well a few months ago there were sheets in the store to sign up for on-line coupons..did and got my first one today...20% of an entire order and Halloween decorations anywhere from 40 - 50% off...might be worth a stop on the way home...shucks if I was to keep stopping at all these places I'll have spend my play money that I need for tomorrow...so better pass right on by...

Ruby I'd so love some Rose Campion seed...been looking towards the back of the property where tree line is and thought maybe I would add a small width of plants to hide the area...so will be looking for seed that has some heighth..

Duck, we're all very much the same...gardens are our life-lines to life aren't they...is there any particular 'movie' you want to see...I keep waiting for the movies to be on DVD's...enjoy it more in the comfort of my home..guess it truly is a sign of my getting older...have to push myself to go out..quite comfortable amongst my garden and crafts...and family of course!

Gita, do most of your in-house wintering of plants survive, why should I ask that, know you are quite the gardener and would make sure they have proper light and water..won't go there as to what mine might look like...guess you are enjoying being inside and back into your normal routine...

UGGG...Judy, are you trying to do a couple days work in one...busy/busy...hope you've gotten over being upset...

Well better keep painting..talk later

Victoria Harbour, ON

Cross posted Crissy...sometimes it's not hard to get into an argument when mentioning Church/politics..lol...imagine, turned our debate off last night and watched your debate for just a few minutes, felt myself falling asleep so went off and blew out the candles...yep, I would suggest you go to a place like Home Sense or even Michaels and they have beautiful iron pieces that hold mega candles ...think mine has about 18 or so...gives you the feel of a fire all aglow..so calming and relaxing...

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Betty..just popped in to catch up..

just wanted to say..I DO wait till Spring to rake and clean up all the gardens..and it is a huge job.
I tackle them one or two at a time..

Waviing Liz..hang in there girl........

I have made the most delicious harvest soup this morning....just had some for lunch..lots left for freezing.

Have a good day..cleaned out the fireplace downstairs..going to scatter the ashes in the veggie garden.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I'm going to do that Betty, that's really pretty. It's not that it was about politics, I'm one of those who just doesn't care about much when it causes stress and I can't do anything about it. I don't like stress and try to avoid it if at all possible. It's the fact that I said "Biden is quiet like my dad" and she said, "So is the devil!" Don't call my dad the devil, of course she thinks he is anyway because he had a drinking problem a while back, never mind her drug abuse problem she had a while back, that's different. I don't like the woman anyway and have to deal with this type of nonsense every day, and unfortunately I work out in the open with her so I can't just shut my door.

Victoria Harbour, ON

That truly makes it uncomfortable for you doesn't it..what kind of work do you do Crissy? Do hope you have a quiet relaxing weekend...think we're all looking forward to one..of course I'm a go/go/go but everything I'm doing is relaxing to me...i.e. big craft shows tomorrow..not looking for much, perhaps a piece of metal art, do need a nice fall table cloth, just love the scenery, walking the town, candle factory, largest wholesale factory I've ever seen, clay pot factory..lordy...should I leave my spending money at home...this month is a big month for me...this weekend, then next weekend Thanksgiving..always much to buy and treats for children/ fall decorating plants etc...then the next going to Frankenmuth MI for the weekend, then the next is another craft show weekend, so better divide those pennies into 4..lol

Got home and Kathy just dropped in to let Sailor out..had those bottle tops so gave her one (should have given her 2) can still do that, she helped me in back shed looking for all my Halloween and fall decorations...no go, only the 'Witch is In-Witch is Out', was pumpkin candle, 2 little pumpkin candles...the outdoor pumpkins out of wood that stand 3' and has a light inside...but where oh where are the other boxes...surely wouldn't have thrown them out...one never knows with me...get tired of same old/same old and out they go....

Just put spaghetti on for supper, going to take an early bath, took the little painting table out, will work on my witch for an hour or so then early to bed I go...

OMG on the way home near Barrie it started to rain heavily but for just a few sec's thought it was ice or snow..surely not...

Liz, was it you who send me some Halloween 'goodies' last year or was it you Jeannine..lordy I should have a book to mark it all down...

Off I go...you'd swear I had 1/2 ownership in a candle company, have candles all over the place...tell me, do you all have the big 8" and 10" and 12" candles that take batteries, have the fragrance in them and you'd swear they are real????? bought a bunch last year and I love them, no worries re the animals...but the odd time I light the others ...Have a set of wine glass type candle holders on fireplace, someone passing looking in would surely think I'm planning a romantic evening...nope, just me, but aren't I worth it? Say yes....

Bedford, VA(Zone 7a)

Betty, If you aren't worth it, then who else is going to celebrate the creative, caring individual who is you?

Victoria Harbour, ON

OK, just had to come and post now that I'm on break...still much to clean up...evening was going so well, think I told you that I have that hand wax machine that you dip your hand in it, take it out, put baggy on it and put your hand into mitts, leave for awhile, omg it feels so great, takes the ache away...

So I plugged it in, DIL Melanie and Kyle dropped in, they are leaving for Meaford tonight, her bio mom and dad live there so it's a yearly event, they go, watch tonights parade, view all the scarecrows out to see who wins most decorated yard, so she hadn't seen this unit so I take her to see, ONE MUST take the bags and mitts out BEFORE you plug it in to melt the wax..not a pretty sight...so then I get the bright idea, how will I clean the mitts, well put them in the zinc in warm water wax will fall off...NOT...so as I empty they zinc, all the was when the water drains out is coating the entire zinc now must try and get it out...lordy/lordy..would imagine by the time I've cleaned up my mess, it will be bedtime, no witch painting done, bedtime and ready to start new day...

Up I go, must have supper, and rethink my evening chores....

To make matters worse, looked all over in the house...no Halloween decorations so I know what I've done..out they went....

But the best part of the day, is Melanie just said she wouldn't mind cooking Thanksgiving supper on Sunday..so if Jeff is able to make it Sunday I'll just make pies and enjoy ... was invited to Suzanne's Saturday night
when she has her Thanksgiving Dinner so why not just visit everyone, one day at a time and relax...doesn't it sound like a plan?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Terri, as you can see by my post just above, should have stayed counting pennies..lol...

Now I must go and try and get the wax off my jacket and my glasses..can you tell me how I've done that...

Drats and more drats...

Bedford, VA(Zone 7a)

oh my goodness, Betty, I can just imagine the mess! Just a piece of advice, plug up your sink (put a long cord on the top of the plug) and put a lot of boiling water in it, then pull the plug. That way you will melt any wax that might be building up in your drains. I hope you are on a sewer and not a septic?

Sometimes I run into problems like that when I'm trying to be efficient. Last weekend I had a lot of company and made 4 cakes and was also making pork BBQ for next days dinner. I smoked the pork outside but it wasn't tender enough to shred so I covered it in foil and finished it in the oven. Only, there was a rip in the foil and the cooking juice and fat spilled all over the oven floor. I turned off before it smoked too much and then after my company had left, I got the bright idea to use the self clean feature, since all the windows were open and there was a nice breeze. Well, an hour into the cleaning stage black oily smoke started pouring out of the top vent of my oven. I should have wiped up the bigger part of the mess before I turned the cleaning cycle on. Ugh, it was very hard to get the smell out and to breathe that night!

Today I set it up again for the self clean but I cleaned up the oven floor first; it was not bad at all and now my oven is ready for the next baking fiasco!

I have the wax warmer, it is the best thing for my arthritis and also my very dry hands! I have never used the baggie, though, just let the wax cool, peel it off and redip a few times, must try it.

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

Betty,

I wrote you a response a while back to your question about my bringing plants in--but I am having a heck of a time with anything loading, opening and, especially--sending on DG today! What is going on????? Anyone else having this problem?

Re bringing the plants in-----

All the plants I bring in are House plants anyway--in one form or another. Everything goes outside in the Summer so they can all get the fresh air and the humidity and light they need. I pretty much put out and bring in all the same plants every year--so I know where this and that has to go.

Then--there always comes that day when you just have to get everything inside!
I prepare for it--that's why I was putting the Systemic Granules on everything.....
The only thing left outside at this time are all my 6 Amaryllis pots and my X-mas Cactuses. They need a cold snap (NOT freezing!) for about 2 weeks to help them set bud.
By the time I bring them inside--they are covered in bloom buds at the tips of all the leaves. Those buds will all be open in a couple of weeks.

We are still having wonderful, warmish days--in the 60's-low 70's, but the nights are starting to be in the high 40's. Gotta move when that hits!

What plants do YOU bring in, Betty?

Just reading above about the wax----I know how great that feels on your hands--as I used to work, briefly, in a Physical Therapy dept. Great for arthritis!
However-----PLEASE don't was any of it down your drains!!!!!!!! It will just harden there and HOW are you going to remove it? It is always cold in the underground drains......In no time at all--you will have a drainage problem!

I am with dragonfly--just let it cool off on your hands and then peel it off and put it back in the wax-warmer.....
On the other hand--do DO NOT pour boiling water on it and hope it will melt in your drains!!!!! It wont! It is COLD down there!!!! It will congeal! Clog up your drains!!!!
Use the brains God gave you!

Gita

Victoria Harbour, ON

Thanks Gita and Terri, been sapping it up with paper towels and scrubber, zinc now cleaned so hopefully no damage done to drains...

Terri, at least you are lucky lol you've a self clean oven...

Gita, sometimes I think I was absent when the good Lord gave out the brains...or if I got them, somehow they get misplaced...

As for what plants I bring in???

About 6 giant size geraniums...some coleus, ivy that's about it..you know me, they'll likely be dead by christmas but I do try...

Then Noah comes in with Greg, he didn't go to Meaford, stayed with dad because he has hockey and birthday party tomorrow...Greg wanted to change one last outlet in the kitchen..had no dishwasher all week so thought he'd drop in..

Noah wanted to see how the wax warmer worked so put my hand in 2 or 3 times, got good coverage omg it felt good, put the baggie on and then as I NO LONGER have the mitts I used my oven mitts, keeps the heat much longer...so of course Noah had to try, just wanted to put his finger in..but, as I'm soaking my hand I'm looking and yowwww I've got my ring on...just can't win lol...as I shake my hand....all is for not, going up and doing it a few more times...now someone told me that when the wax comes off (like a glove) all the red markings that you see is the arthritis..think that could be possible???? if so I've mega arthritis in my left hand....

Took a photo to show you what warming mitts look like when waxed..ring on top of waxer...lol..now I'm off to give it a good scrub...

Put spaghetti sauce in the pot with noodles, ran out of spaghetti, doesn't matter, just as good, made enough for 4, so took 1/4 noodles out put them in a bowl so I can make a salad tomorrow, ate the spaghetti, while Greg's working he turns around and Missy (cat) is up on the stove munching on the noodles, so noodles in the garbage...

Don't you both think I'd better get to bed before I do myself damage?

Won't dare lighting those fireplace candles tonight otherwise might think I've gone to hell when the flames are jumping...lol....

Got to love it..thank goodness when things go wrong, I see the funny side, no sense getting upset..ride with the flow..but do know these things do not happen unless I'm tired...so off to bed...

You guys are great, it's soooo nice to come here and gab with you all...makes one less lonely (not that I should be lonely with my revolving door...lol..Kyle and Melanie, Kathy, then Greg and Noah, then Ann arriving from the city checking what time we'll be leaving in the morning...company tomorrow and Sunday but sometimes it's just not the same..having you all is most times like having someone living with me, just gab/gab/gab....

Good Lord willing, I'll be here gabbing about my day tomorrow..when you get tired enough about the mundane, just scroll down and visit another household....lol

Love you all,

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL Betty it just makes me angry because she preaches about being religious and following the Holy Bible to a tee, and being a good person because she's guided by Him and the church, then she calls people names, lies about almost everything, she won't look you in the eye when she talks to you, and is extremely negative. When I was hired, I was there maybe 2 weeks, I was talking to another lady there and we were laughing because I said that I couldn't fight myself out of a wet paper sack. This woman turned around and told me that she could kick my a** because she knows martial arts, even though her knee is shot and she can barely walk around. We had a fire on the 13th floor and had to evacuate the building, she can't walk down the stairs, which is required by law, so she took the elevator! I have been assigned to be her "buddy" and we're supposed to stick together when something like that happens. I'm sorry, I'm going to protect myself first. If we weren't assigned these sorts of things everyone would buddy up and she would be left by herself every time. I just wonder if she realizes that.

Now that I've said all of that, I had my review today and got a raise!!! My boss told me that he wants me to work on my organization skills (lol good luck, he hasn't seen my office here at home) and to not let the woman mentioned above get to me, and DON'T do what she does (naw, really??) He also wants me to work on time management, so I'm not going to be on here as much during the day, I guess I'll sit there cause more times than not there is nothing to do. He's going to start having the other I.T. guy train me too.
My title is "Secretary/User Support." The guy training me is a programmer, and my boss is the I.S. Administrator. I have a BA in I.T. and took the job as a secretary because I am entry level and I can work up there and eventually do what I've been wanting to do for many, many years. I don't know how much my raise was though, I didn't ask him and we just got paid today so it'll be a couple of weeks before I find out.

YAY!!

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

Chrissy,

Your lady boss sounds like a "looney"-----she might have a personality disorder of some kind-----Maybe Bi-Polar and un-medicated?

The fact that your big boss said not to pay attention to her sounds like they all know she is "looney"......

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

She's not my boss, she's no one's boss, just a secretary. She's so far behind she thinks she's ahead.

Crissy, wanted to say, You must have lots of patience. I would have given that women a what for in not such a nice manner. I was really angry for you that she would make such a comment. She should have kept her mouth shuit.

Morning, well today is another day of adventures..and I'mup on it..not leaving until 8:00am but want to be ready..kitties all walking around wanting out but nope, thought I'd have a sip of coffee here with you.

YAAA Crissy, a raise..marvellous..organizational skills are a thing most of us always can improve on...not to worry you'll do fine...will have to find a few secs though to visit with us.. drats to that other employee..just been working with Mr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde the past few months, thank goodness the men will be moving over to their new location in 2 weeks...gotta to tell you, don't ever let someone tell you women are difficult to work with NOT..
so chin up...

Judy, you made my night with you call, you always have me laughing..lol..can't wait to hear stories about the wedding held in a 'zoo'...diferent..know why you are up so early, it's the excitement of going out this morning to purchase that new outfit...

LOL just turned on the wax warmer, hands aching a bit, most likely it's all the rain and dampness so I'll be ever so careful not to screw up...
Laura, hope you are gaining strength...drop in with a few lines just so we know you are ok

Liz, come on girl, few boxes of Halloween goodies need to come out..know you'll smile as you open the 1st..

Guess I'd better take that bath, do my hair, put something comfy on, glad I bought new walking shoes, sit and enjoy the early morning until everyone gets here...

Didn't even listen to the weather forecast...most is inside so not to worry...

YOU KNOW I'll be back to show you the 'treasures' I've picked up..will try to be good...

Do enjoy your day!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Carol, do enjoy the Newcastle Fair...love town fairs...do they have judging of garden items i.e.onions, flowers, potatoes, and cooking entries as well as crafts..so enjoy looking at community efforts...Roger used to enter pickles and chili sauce...and WON!

What will the weather be life in your area..still haven't listened to the forecast...rained here part of the night so just maybe it will not rain..of course Meaford being almost 100 miles away, much could change...

We'll have to compare notes..

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

They are calling for showers this morning..and sunny this afternoon.

Don't think they have that juding of the harvest at this fair..that was a few weeks ago at the Orono fall fair.
They close the main road in Newcastle....
have vendors outside, music etc ..and the craft show is in the town hall
They have all kinds of anitque cars on show lining the street too.

Hey Judy..a wedding at the Zoo??
Wow..that is different.
Does the couple work there? or did they meet there?
You'll have to show us the dress you find..nothing like leaving it till the last minute..LOL ..hope you find one you fall in love with.

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

Morning all - I hope everyone has a nice weekend planned.

Laura, I hope you are feeling better - take care of yourself!!

So DH and DS went on their semi-annual father/son camping trip yesterday so it's just me and DD (oh boy!). DD went to a friends house last night for "movie night" and got home around 11. Brought another friend home to spend the night. Will probably just do the basic stuff today - laundry, grocery shoppping, etc. DD and I hope to go apple picking tomorrow morning. We normally do it as a family with the dogs but since DH & DS won't be back until lunch time, I don't want to wait - plus they will stink and have a boat to clean off first. We can't go next weekend cause I have my "cruise to nowhere" with 12 girlfriends. We leave Sat morning out of Norfolk on Carnival cruise line and just cruise down towards Florida and back in 2 days. It will be nice to get away! I need to buy my dramamine though!!

So I don't think I told y'all about my Wed night this week. I did tell you about taking Sailor to the emergency vet twice in 3 days; well, Wed night it was my son. I get a call from a neighbor boy telling me to come right away, that DS has hit himself in the head with a hammer and is bleeding. (note: a sense of humor is essential to make it thru this crazy life!) Anyway, I get over to the house and he is sitting on the front porch with the neighbor's father holding papertowels to the top of his head and blood is everywhere. Luckily, I don't freak with stuff like this (I guess watching the Discovery channel helps!). Anyway, his beautiful blond hair is soaked in blood and I see a little cut right on the top of his head. Seems he was being a boy and using thehammer to "dig" out a tree stump with all the other boys. Anyway, he hit the stump with the hammer and it bounced back and hit him with the claw side on the top of his head. (ouch!) So I'm not sure if he needs stitches but I know the hammer was probably dirty so I take him up to our urgent care place and sure enough, he needs 4 stitches! So he's got a little shaved spot on the top of his head about the size of a half dollar with 4 stitches - his first! YOu just have to laugh!!! Boys will be boys!!

So that has been my excitement. The dogs have mostly stayed out of trouble if you don't count Murphy eating my brand new reading glasses or both of them digging up the back yard and then coming into the house full of mud! They are really good when they sleep! :)

So off to start my Sat. Y'all have a great day and I'll chat with you later!

Jeannine

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Hi Jeannine..loved reading your stories..with a grin..you do need to have a sense of humour don't you?
Good for you to take it all in stride. Your cruise to nowhere sounds like fun....
Have fun this weekend.

Crozet, VA

This is a wonderful time of the year to be out and about. Not too hot, not too cold. I just hope that this is how the weather and temperatures will be during mid-October when John and I visit Atlantic City and go over in to New York City for a day also. I have run off a list of "cheap" if there is such a thing, hotels in NYC. Maybe we will get there and be having so much fun that we decide to stay over night.

I love the Fall Festivals that are planned this time of year. I haven't paid attention to anything going on here, so am not sure what activities are happening in the community. We have so much to do right here at home, work wise that we will be staying close to home until he vacate on October 17.

Have fun Betty and Gardengirl.

A picture of almost the last color of the year in my yarden. Please ignore the Hosta that has seen better days. This is Celosia.

Good Morning!! Well, so much for my wonderful gardening day, it's been thundering since about 6:30am this morning. I have to go into the storm to get my hair done at 10! gggrrrrrr. Great day to work on the Santa, so it seems! The thunder is finally getting a lot closer, this is the slowest moving storm I have ever been in! It's been coming for 2 hours, and it's still not quite here.

I want to go on one of those cruises to nowhere, but we're so far away from the coast that sails those excursions we have to go somewhere to go nowhere. Florida is 10 hours away, I think.

Pretty red Celosia Ruby.

Seed, she talks to me like that almost every day and the bosses know it. She's been there for 4 years, I think, and they don't even like her. They should've gotten rid of her when she was in probation, but she probably acted different then. She's just a sh**head. I try to not say anything because I don't want to be pulled down with her, know what I mean?

Sounds as though some of you have had rain, some sunshine some clouds...we had a bit of overcast and some sunshine as you'll see in my photo's....

This is the scenery travelling around Georgian Bay..as I said in earlier posts, Meaford is almost directly to the west of us, short drive if it weren't for the lake..lol..so I would say we travel around the bottom end of Georgian bay for almost 1 1/2 hrs...beautiful though...
