Can you believe I have the first seedling popping up that I planted on 9/17? Rubline x Lady Liberty - peeling really works.
Also, just read on a website that if you start getting mold in your seedling pots , sprinkle it with cinnamon. They said it killed the mold overnight. I had a little (have pots in a plastic bag) and it worked as described.

I saw a couple of those large moths one night feeding on my Peach NOID on my deck. I thought they were really pretty.

Has anyone grown the brug "Baby Doll"? I have one and I can't believe what I paid for this pitiful plant ($25). It is no bigger around than half a pencil and it is trying to put out new leaves (all fell off) but it is growing very slowly. I have had it about a month now.
Anything special I can do for it to help it get stronger?

my royal blue lochroma is really growing. already about two feet tall. will post a picture later just to make u hotties envious. lol

Y'all I really did feel bad about leaving without saying goodbye but with the beautiful weather we were experiencing and today's thing looming over our head's, I just said let's go up north for a bit. We got lucky and got a cabin for a real nice price and just flew outta here as fast as we could pack a bag. So, I will have DH spank my hiney with the sweet annie that came out of the ground cause of the torrential rain we had here today. (Still 80 degrees) Here in Minnesota. Unbelievable!!
I sure hope we don't have to wait too long for his verdict. But, almost, almost positive we will get custody. Then that well, almost, creeps into my mind and I get nervous.

To all of you that are worried about winter, we are putting out about a thread every three days, besides the Hotties that decided to revive all the old threads. We have known each other for so little time, and yet, we know each other. That is, as Beck said on one of the old threads when she was playing "comfortable."
My Dr. Seuss now has multiple buds and I still swear this is going to bloom when I am in Texas meeting Beck and all the Texas people. So, do I go for blooms or Beck? LOL!! I will be at the RU, with very specific instructions for Keith. He is so excited. After I explained the Y, he was about to drive me nuts asking me about blooms (Three threads ago), but he is checking this itty-bitty buds and asking me, is it really going to do that? I think if it will ever bloom, I will have a brug man on my hands.

LOL AuntB. I was asking if the Brugs could be grown here next spring and if, they could survive as a houseplant throughout winter. The Honey Crisps............well they were born right here and now have become the Minnesota State Official Fruit Tree.

Sandy, they can be grown inside this winter... and out next spring and let go dormant next winter, or if you have a place, grown in winter... I do it here in 5b, takes some muscles and patience and determination, but it can be done... I'll help you.

Hello hotties!! I am so tired ..trying to get stuff together to start cleaning up my place today..had to spray my yard down to drive out these darn big skeeters!! and too many of these men coming around wanting $$$ to get rid of my tree debris..fixing to shoot them if they don't stop coming up my driveway..I am fixing to place a sign No Trespassing out there on my fence..maybe that just might make them think to drive in..LOL..got 13 business cards stuck in my door wanting my business while i was at work...sheeze..now since my son is here..he has told them to all go away in a foul mood talking SOB( he is in the US Army)..made him feel good since they high tale back into their trucks and leave..he was not in the mood to deal with people who wants to rip us off..they wanted money first then who knows after that.....he doesn't work that way..lol..ya do the work and then get paid by a contract they sign..then he knows he got them by the chiney chin chin..LOL..I told my son..go get em sonny boy!!
