Oh, Clemie, I thought I was too late for the Donna call! dah! Turkey spagetti is spagetti sauce made with turkey burger instead of hamburger & sausage (Mel doesn't like burger and sausage doesn't agree with her)... all the spices the same, just use turkey burger instead... looks a little different, but still tastes great..(less fat and cheaper, too) It's no fun being in the hospital, but it sure makes you appreciate home. She'll get much better rest when she's home. Bet she misses her babies and her flowers (and maybe even us hotties!) ... Here is a pic just for Donna.. It's Cassies Curls, she was so sweet to share one with me. Please excuse the neglected plants and messy deck from leaves, but I haven't shown a pic of her for a while, I think she's ready for a bigger pot before she spends the winter inside... Donna, I so love the little darling, she's almost as precious as YOU!

Chicken spaghetti is one of my favorite dishes! This is how we make it commonly around here.
CHICKEN SPAGHETTI
1 chicken, boiled and de- boned
broth from chicken
1 cup bell pepper, chopped and seeded
1 cup celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 (10-oz.) pkg. spaghetti
I small jar pimentos
4 cups Cheddar or American cheese
Boil chicken and de-bone. Add the bell pepper, onion and celery to the chicken broth and simmer until tender. Add the pimento, cans of soup, and uncooked spaghetti noodles. Simmer until spaghetti is done. Stir in the cheese, chicken, and salt and pepper to taste. Let thicken before serving.
Some people cook all ingredients except for adding the cheese. Pour into casserole dish as is, then cover with shredded cheese and bake until done.

Tomorrow, I think I will have DH take a picture of the shiner Amiyah gave me last night. Looks like I slathered one eye with a very rich purple. Didn't even hurt at first but I woke up this morning looking like Amiyah got into the Purple marker. LOL

Peggy, I wanted to show you my Midnight Madness bargain from last fall (doesn't that just suit me? lol) ... Mel and I shopped at the nursery Joyce and I went to this spring.. and we had to use flashlights and wait till after 11 p.m. to check out so we could get 50% off.. this is Hosta Red October... (a little worse for wear this time of year) but I've so enjoyed it's red stems and the dark purple blooms... he really did well.

Louise I never measure anything, I just use whatever broth is left from boiling the chicken, but I would guesstimate about 6 cups.
Sandy so sorry about your eye...Is she going through that playful hitting stage most children go through or did she just accidentally pop you? Bless your heart with your widdle purple eye.....Jerry had a boil (or bug bite?) under his eye all week that was huge and eventually filled with pus. It made a black eye and all his co-workers teased that his wife had beat him up, LOL!
Chicken spaghetti really is to die for good in wintertime, and would be perfect for Amiyah to eat. I always make garlic bread with it too
