She's About To...........#19
Hi Karen, TY for the new thread, I was going to do it myself in a bit. It takes awhile to do on dial up.
Karen, you fixed that pic up just perfect for us Hotties, thx for the new thread... your mama is precious! and such a big beautiful smile! (been a busy wkend, here... I want to start bringing stuff in but the weather looks good for at least another week or so... The ash trees on either side of my deck have started dropping a lot of leaves and that makes the pots a mess, I'm thinking of moving some stuff to the middle of the back yard, in effort to keep the blowing leaves out of them.... what to do??? Donna, hope you are feeling better and enjoying that new sweetie baby. What does Siobhan think of him by now?
AuntB, Wish I could say I was fine but not even close. Aidan is doing great at home, but I cannot leave the house. Can’t even go out and water the burggies. Siobhan wants him to wake up and play with his new toys.
Aw, Donna, hope you aren't hurting too much... and you ARE staying inside... And when he does start playing with his new toys, he'll want to play with hers too, then she'll want him to be newborn, again. lol
THREAD WATCHER ANTICS - Becky! You spear-headed this, the newest Hottie Caper???? I'm shocked!! (haha) Clemen, you just can't turn down a dare, can ya??? Then you both drew in Phyllis, Louise, Linda Kay, Audrey and I think Lucille and Karen were even in on it.... and our Hottest Hottie Thread starter Kim the exotic was aware of it....Sure hope Daddy Dave didn't send snippety warnings to ya'll... LOL I noticed a few other hotties playin along too, and I just have to say, you newer Hotties DON'T need to be lead astray by those few Hotties who cannot control themselves. I can almost expect Becky and Clemen to be involved in something like this but the rest of ya???????? What's the Hottie group coming too anyway??? LOL It's coming to more great hotties, I mean we even have our Brave Wolfie man hottie! We've come a LONG way in such a short period of time and I think we're ALL a bunch of yackers! I feel like we've had this thread going for a lot longer than just since June... We might just have to get Dave to give us our own HOTTIE FORUM, tehe. You're all precious! Great Hottie Marble Caper, Great Hottie Thread Ressurection(sp) what's next?? (special apologies to Peggy, I wrongly accused you of being in on spear-heading of this latest caper)
Yeah, staying in one place, I don’t much of a choice. No pain, just not breathing well, will see the dr tomorrow and he can decide what to do with me. I done all the meds and there is not much improvement. Not a happy Nana here I wanted to see that little guy.
I know of many people, (my DD in KC for one) she had something like that in June, has taken meds 2 different times.. she feels better, but still sounds like she has a cold when I talk to her on the phone... hope you are able to rest, eat and drink.. lot's to drink... water and juice, heck maybe a few hot toddies is what you need?
Hot toddies sound good about now. This is just an allergic reaction to something, happens often. They still haven’t figured out what causes these bad attacks, they just treat them. First time they thought it was a cold/virus that caused the infection. It took a long time to figure out it was allergies. Sometimes it takes weeks to sound normal again. I squeak forever after an attack.
AunrB, shame on u. discrimanation in daves garden?? there is a few things men can do, admitting they love flowers is one. lol j/k love u all, just keep on ribbing me, i have broad sholders. but remember, "REVENGE IS HELL, or was that REVENGE IS HECK? not sure but it hurts lmao,
Great spot Wolfie, it looks very relaxing.
Sometimes the Fairies are nice ^_^ Very pretty
HELP, HELP, HELP
I am seeing tiny little gnat things flying around my babies. Are these fungus gnats and how to I get rid of them?
Donna, I hope you feel better. I am an asthmatic too (since birth) and I know how upper respiratory things can kick our b..ts. Somethimes the antib's they have given me made things worse and when the lab tests came back they gave me different meds.
Feel better soon.
Come on in and stay a while Mike, we’d love to have you join us. Beautiful Burggie, does it have a name?
Bonnie they were all naughty hotties while you were gone LOL. I was forced to participate through peer pressure LMAO.
Wolfie nice spot!!
We have a lot of fun here. Both pix are beautiful, I love creamsickle.
Howdy from the moderator, instigator!!! LOL

Handsome wolfie... you sure know how to treat a lady, and I don't know a lady that doesn't like flowers! Your lil hideaway is wonderful!

Karen..TY sooo much fior starting a new thread.. and that hottie pic is neat and that brug is fantastic.. that's what I am dreaming of having one day... Your Momma sure looks like a wonderful sweet Momma!! Probably like my Momma and not a mean bone in her body!
Donna.. so glad to see you hanging in there!! BTW A fairy must have brought me a nekid lady too..lol.. what a surprise, cause she started before Ike, and bloomed right after.. so she is my "special" nekid lady

BTW.. I have met Dave, and I am sure he detected I am a lil nuts.. harmless, but NUTS..lol
weese... I guess we have to blame it on somebody..lol.. but it was fun!!
Donna
Very PERDY! :) I treat her like every other brug. Fertilize on Wed. & Sat. Epsom salt every Sunday! I follow the same routine - even if it's raining! lol! She's gotten huge - about 6' I guess. Ignore the 'holey' leaves - they're from hail damage on Friday night! But she's still ticking! :)
Mike
Wow yours is gorgeous. I’ll keep trying with mine. She does not like much food; she crinkles or turns black green. She seems to do okay with fish and seaweed but that is all she likes. She aborted most of her buds, I did get 5 beautiful blooms from her but now she is bud less. Oh well, this is her first year, maybe next season will be better. She smells so good she is worth the trouble.
Real quick, here hotties... tryin to get something accomplished today... and catch up here.... No discrimination from me Wolfie, I think we scared a couple of you guys off way back in a single digit thread... :) Welcome Mike... another brave man from Arkansas.. lol You hotties, I'd never leave here for long... but I gots to get some flower/plant stuff done before winter.... I miss you all and I'll try to spend some time in here tonight... I'm lovin the pics.. I've noticed some seed pods growing on Maya, the moths are gettin "jiggy" ... got the hibiscus moved and now to the store for vittles... ;) -B
Mike welcome to the group, and please stick around, we love pictures, don't we Hotties????
I don't know wif I can keep mine outside, as they are all in pots? Can anyyone tell me if I can keep them outside with out loosng them. Will they go dormant during the cold months and come back new next year???? I would really hate to loose any of them.

I'm not going to get to go to the RU after all. Sorry.
Attenhut all of you Hottie troublemakers. You know I got blamed for all of your late night shenanigans, when I was sound asleep. That is just not fair. Umm, wonder what's going to be in your Christmas stockings??
Hello Mike, Welcome to our Brug craziness. Please feel free to jump in and chat anytime.
Donna, Linda, Audrey and Bonnie, we have got to get ourselves well around here. We've got too much to do to feel sick. Hope you are feeling better.
Linda, in your zone I would so stick those babies in the ground. Maybe for this year, you could just bury the pots and leave them out. I am told they die back here but come back stronger every year.
Wolfie, your space does look so peaceful. By the way, I collect those old-time metal garden seats and love your glider. Those things have gotten to be worth some money now if they are in good condition. Who knew when that was the kind of garden furniture everyone used to have.
Looong day at work today, computer problems, etc, so now I have to get busy cooking. But first let me show you my new babies, not brugs, though.
Meet Curly Fireflush, Edinburgh, Fireworks and Escargot. Tee hee, Keith finally asked me if I was through buying plants this year. But these are houseplants, I mumbled. He likes the Escargot so I'm not in trouble. :))
Cathy, you have been busy!! Let me get back with you tomorrow when I can really sit down and think about what I've got going where right now. thanks for such a sweet offer! Peg
Peg, you are right to many sick hotties, time for us to get better. Sorry you got blamed I saw where AuntB thought it was you. Somehow I did not get caught! Heeheeheeeeeeee. Love your new little guys.
Cat that’s a great list unfortunately I can’t take anything; I’ve got too many to deal with now.
Linda Kay, hope that foot is healing well. Sorry I don’t know if you burgs will be okay in the pots.
Louise your buds are getting bigger, we need to hold off that frost so they can bloom outside.
AuntB, what a good doobie this weekend getting all that stuff done.
Clem, Very jealous here you got to go to the water. It was a beautiful day here.
Beck you must have been out there working hard too. Cause nobody’s been instigating trouble here all day.
Billi if those buggies are on your burgs spray them with something like 7.
The Amaryllis coop ends tonight at 9 and everyone is making changes fast and furious! It may be morning before I can sit down and answer dmails.
Hey everyone! Glad ya'll liked the pic of my mom, she is 83 and still has a great sense of humor...That pic was sent as a joke to my family.
Peg, I live in small town, (think Mayberry) and the local hardware store still sells those metal gliders and lawn chairs for hardly anything. I am getting a new red glider for my yard next summer...
Mike, glad you joined us! You seem very knowledgable about Brugs and we look forward to visiting with you!
Donna, I have the same illness you have now several times a year. Flu-like symptoms, chest hurts, get asthma during these spells, stuffy-runny nose and bronchitus. It knocks me off my feet and I get it like clockwork. I recently went to an allergist it got so bad and he said it was allergies, but he couldn't pin down what it was, even with testing. I don't know what it is, but it sucks. Keeps me down for weeks...So sorry for you and hope you feel better hon. What is Siobhan thinking of little Aidan now? Is she jealous at all? BTW, I am already working on repainting my gnomes, I knew I couldn't wait until winter, LOL!
Girls, has anyone at all heard from Sandy??? I am really worried about her and Amiyah for some reason, she was posting so regularly for awhile there.
My depression has been a little better, and I am working on fall cleanup too.
Cathy thank you for offering the plants! So sweet of you. And great foresight to do it so fairly...
Becky!!!!!!! Only 3 weeks till I get to see you again! I am trying my darndest to keep your little Loquat tree alive..........but I don't know, he's looking mighty peaked as my Grandmammy would say.
Bonnie, love you and miss you! Don't work too hard! Wolfie, love your yard! Your Nancy must enjoy all the benefits of your wonderful gardening. I LOVE Arkansas, if I ever got kicked out of Texas that would be where I moved to, haha! Where is Heber Springs?
To anyone I missed I love you too and hope everyone had a great day. I just got home from Outback and stuffed my gut....I love a good steak! Love love, Karen
