Hello all! Anybody left up for me to talk to? I am anxiously awaiting a letter back from Volker but I believe he is going to try and ship me cuttings, same as for Billie. Keep your fingers crossed that we'll get them without big customs money. The deal is, they are not supposed to send plants in soil, for fear of soil contamination here in the U.S. The auction I won was for a fully rooted plant, so we'll see - keep your fingers and toes crossed ☺ All except you Bonnie, cause it might hurt your toesie, LOL!

I'm old school too, you "abusive" momma's ;) But you know what, my kids learned respect. I love them enough to teach them right from wrong, even if it meant the iron hand of momma. Of course 1 always had a "hot seat" and it was usually cause she was blaming something she did on the other one. Honesty is the best policy with me. I never beat them or used a belt, my hand or the fly swatter worked great on those little hineys. Drew was just too spoiled being the only boy and 9 years after my youngest DD, but he did get some spankings from me He turned out mannerly and respectful, so I must have done something right somewhere along the parental road.

Bonnie you don't have a virus software? You can use avg free software, it is great. You can also go to PC CILLIN and get a free scan. Sounds more like some spyware that is coming up. They want to freak you out so you buy their software.
Thanks for all the good wishes my hottie friends! I had been telling my Doc my neck was crunchy for over a year. He said it was nothing. Now he is listening lol. There really is no pain, just an electric like shock down my arms when I bend my head.

Oh Cathy! I'll bet you've driven right by my house, as I live in town, right on highway 155. What a nice thing to wake up to, someone who actually knows where the hell Frankston is? I’m home sick today, not a good thing to take 3 vaca days, show up for 1 day then call in sick. Oh well they will get over it. I was fine Wednesday and half dead yesterday, called into the dr. and swallowed the Antibiotics by lunch time. Really hoping I caught this in time and won’t have to go for meds in one of RI’s finest. I’m 99.9% sure that this is caused by allergies, but because of the .1% chance that it is something else I will not allow myself to go near that little one (Very sad Nana here).
Karen, so sorry you could not have the plant shipped here, customs and dirt I thought that would be a problem. Hope you get the cuttings and they grow well for you.
Louise, sounds like something is hitting a nerve for those electric shock things down the arms. Hope it can be corrected without surgery, the recoup time is so long, and it is not ouch less. I’m hoping for good news from the MRI, you will be in my prayers.

Hope you feel better soon Donna! There is a nasty virus running around out there. It hit here and one day you feel fine and the next...Oh My! I was so sick I was wheeled around in a wheel chair at the Doc's office. I was fine the day before! He had me on antibiotics,steroids and sent me home with a nebulizer!! It took about three weeks for me to stop coughing and hacking. Stupid summer cold! Everyone here caught it cept my hubby who avoided me like the plague lol.
Oh darn it Louise, I’m really hoping it is allergies because I was holding and kissing my baby on Wednesday night, and was with Siobhan all week. I’m praying I was not contagious. I have a nebulizer and meds at home but cannot take oral steroids so if I’m not showing signs of being better by Monday I’ll have to do 24 hours of them through IV.

Those holly hocks sounds wonderfull, but I have never grown them, nuch less seen them 11 foot tall. They must be beautiful. Please share pictures when they bloom.
Louise, have you tried a chiropractor. I have been seeing mine for about 12 years now, and he has helped so much. I had that sharp pain going down my arms, and he did acupuncture. After 3 treatments it was all better. Never another sharp pain down my arm.

Oh darn it Donna, I hope it is not the icky virus! I can relate to lung issues. Have asthma and lots of problems with upper resp. problems. Been pretty healthy there last few years with the inevitable once or twice a year knock out with some stupid virus.
Linda Kay I have some pretty single hollyhock seeds I can send you if you want to try some. I did ask about a chiropractor but my Doc seems to think this is more urgent than what a Chiro can do. Risk of complete sever or something. I guess we will know more after the MRI.

Linda Kay... I have had back problems since I was 16 and in a wreak.. at least I have always blamed it on the wreak..lol.. and a chiropractor wouldn't touch me... My 93 yr old MIL swears by them, and goes to one when she needs to... often wondered if that was what kept her going??

You can't permanently delete dmails. You can move them to your Deleted folder to get them out of the way, but there is no way to dump that folder. Something about the whole thred being deleted if they allow that.
