Linda Kay I have been searching for 2 months for a real read brug but was told by someone on DG that there were no red brugs at all, just pink, so I was discouraged. Until sweet Billie directed me to that seller, so my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. I am so happy...there was one other auction on Ebay for the super spot that ended for around $60.00 for the same size plant in the U.S., so I was doubly excited to win it for a little over $10.00. Course I will share! I even saw a DG member's nursery site where they wanted $150.00 for a gallon sized plant of this. Incredible. I think my next purchase might be a KongMansia..

I can't talk too much now, I've got to get outside. Someone decided to be real sweet last night and busted out the windows on our vehicles, parked in our driveway. We have no idea who, why or when. But I need to get all of that glass swept up. Replacing the windows is going to be bad enough without flat tires in the deal.

Peggy, I sure hate to hear that. People can be so awful for no reason. Last week street roaming teens splashed a whole bucket of red paint on the outside of my wooden yard fence and destroyed my mailbox. At July 4th they blew up firecrackers in the same mailbox but this time they did it in. I know especially the pain of random acts of violence on our property by strangers....

Merpeg - sorry about your windows. I had some freakazoids damage my car about 8 years ago. They poured oil in my front seat (which of course I sat in) and left me a poo poo present on the back seat.

Have gotten some wonderful seed crosses from Volker Sanders (guy who sold Super Spot to Karen) and I have potted up 8 seedlings of Bergfeuer x Super Spot which I am sure I will share with my new friends here. I have 3 more of this same cross that I beheaded (didn't remove the cork) and two of them are actually starting to put out leaves. It does look as though they had some leaf material left on them. Check out Bergfeuer, its a gorgeous double.
Do beheaded seedlings normally put out leaves?
I am also expecting 6 cuttings from Mr. Sanders. I hope they make thru customs. We'll see.

Billie no beheaded seedlings are sadly dead. The stem lives for a while but mine never put out leaves. Hotties I need some prayers from you all! I went to the doc today for some strange symptoms and turns out I have my fourth and fifth vertabrea slipped and pinching nerves and may have to have surgery. I get an MRI tomorrow right away to see what is exactly going on. That is not my only issue but the worst one. Doc said last time they saw something like that the guy was in surgery in a week!!!!
