I used Patio Paints by Deco Art and Weldbond glue.

I was up til well after 1 and had trouble sleeping, so after getting a couple winks here and there, I finally rolled out of bed about 9:30...

OMG OMG OMG I am so in love with this. I will be doing this one first, heck i can have a quilt like this done in a matter of a few hours, that is after all the cutting is done.

Yes please-I would LOVE them!!! I am serious about the woodworking....my dream would be to do crafty things and be able to sell them, write a novel and have a pug rescue....ahhh-to dream....

Will be MIA for the next few hours, as Melanie's funeral is this afternoon.
The wake yesterday was a lovely one. Her favorite stuffed giant frog and teddy were sitting at her feet. And she's draped with her favorite blankie. There were running videos of her on 2 screens, and of course pictures through the years. This child has electric blue eyes y'all. Don't have to tell you the hall was packed as she's an inspiration to everyone that she'd smiled at! There were even preachers from other areas that had never met her but heard about her.
Truly an inspiration her life had been.

Daniel was upright and holding back last night. It will hit them hard when daily life do not include catering to Melanie from sunrise till bed time. I want to thank all of you for your prayers. Melanie's parents truly need them.
Michelle sat next to the casket and all the while stroking Melanie's hair...

After the funeral, I'll be spending a day with Carolyn, my church sister, gf, bff. Her husband hadn't eaten lately.. that grandbaby was his "Fighter Angel".

Again, I thank you for your prayers.

Wind is picking up here quite a bit... so, I might loose power soon.

Wanted to say before that happens, that LK called me yesterday when she first got home from the surgery, so her meds probably hadn't wore off yet... and today she might be taking some pain meds, so give her time... she's fine, and will get on as soon as she can... she's missing you all too.

BTW... she has the sweetest voice... I can't wait to meet that lady.

I'm going to unplug the computers now... so, I'll talk to ya'll after the storm...

Jaye, I know you always have just the words to comfort your friends. I pray they come to you with comfort as well. Loosing a child is the hardest thing to endure.

Will be anxiously waiting for BJ to get back on.....and Jaye-as Deb said-I am sure that you will be your usual wonderful person and lend the strength to the family that needs it most....

Deborah, I made her grandma cry more when I told her I can see Melanie running, chasing after butterflies. She told me each time, Melanie sees a butterfly she gets overly excited, and pointed to it till it disappear from her sight. Can't look at butterflies the same way now.

*sigh* men ...steps son just had to go work out in town "he didn't realize just how windy it was on the road"but no they did not come back they continued on to town so DH dropped him off and came back and now DH just left to go pick him back up.
BUT on a high note....*Evil laugh*..when he gets back home he will find the vodka bottle that was in his closet sittin on his dresser and I will not say a word and wait and see if anything is said as I also removed the empty beer boxes that have been in there since the first of august ....hehehe and yes I went in his room as this is our house and we pay the bills not him so I have the right to go in any room I choose ....ROFLMAO

oh no this is a 31 yr old that can't handle his drinking he lost his job when we were gone to Illinois back the first week of August due to his excessive drinking and couldn't get up to go to work.
He has no drivers lis. because of a DUI in Illinois and never got a Texas one and can't now til the IL issue is resolved.

when I cleaned the tub in the second bathroom which is connected to his room I got ticked because the floor around the potty was filthy and had ummm where he sold buicks shall we say that is why I went into the closet as that is where he hides it and his dad told him when we got back from IL NO MORE drinking while living here.

oh believe me my point will get across have already dealt wtih DH middle son back in IL and he got the point when he went into rehab plus after his wife (he meet in rehab) stole 2 books of checks and forgered a thous out of our checking we then decided to down size while my son was in rehab (volunteered) and that ended us here so we aren't up there to run to for any help anymore and I am not going to enable him he is a big boy and needs to grow up ...he is here only until he gets his feet on the ground so to speak then once he can afford it he is out

Oh dear, that is not good, sounds like he may need some professional help. My daughters ex-husband is like that same age too. I love him to death but he ruined his marriage and I'm afaid my grandson will turn out to be just like him.
