Hotties, I've been thinking about this all week since it was mentioned earlier, but I think we need a contact number list for each member....If you would like me to be the "caretaker" of the list I will, or someone else can. Your information would be respected and well protected, used only as a means for us hotties to contact you when needed.

My idea is that when a hottie needs/wants to contact you they could Dmail me and I would give them your number if that is permisable with you. You might also give me your mailing address so that hotties may mail you a card, or a little gift sometime if the desire arises.

What do you girls think of this? If you are agreeable just Dmail me your information and I will start the list. On second thought, I could duplicate the list and give the other to Bonnie. That way there would be two people you could contact.......Give me your thoughts on this

I Thank all you hotties for your prayers and well wishes. Karen, I live at least 60 miles from there. I live in Mont Belvieu And have a Baytown address because we don't have mail delivery,Only P/O/ Boxes. I appreciate your offer. You may want to watch closer as they are saying a direct hit to Galveston and between 3AM Sat or later. So they may want to come fri.

Hi Ladies, wheew what a morning. AuntB, I hope your surgery went well. Louise....So very sorry about your loss. Been alone with the baby since 7:30 and my knees are killing me. I have to break down and go see a doctor, I guess. Hope all in the path of the storm fares well. I will be thinking of you all.

LOLOL.. we are staying for now.. but Ike will still be carrying 60+ gusts + tornadoes for our area... this is my first bloom ever..lol... and I wasn't even watching the 2 buds together as close as I have been on the large bloom. I was shocked to find her lil twangers showing this morning! I will lose her for sure.. that is why I am going to dig her up.. but closer to time

Nursing Home just called and said we are staying for now.. but every hour that desision could change

Hello everyone! I have the day off and have been to the doctors, the grocery, haircut, lunch and now I'm taking a break before I take the dog to get his nails trimmed. Then I'm crashing. About used up all of my energy for today.

Everyone stay as safe as possible in Ike's path. Everytime I look at the new reports it looks more ominous. It is still raining here and I so wish I could get out in the yard, but at least I'm getting some other stuff done.

Beck, that does not even look like a MG. Some kind of mutant? A relative of Clem's plant? Clem's plant does turn out sooo pretty though after it's been ugly and scary, so maybe yours will too.

AuntB, hope the surgery went well. I know its going to hurt for awhile, but I sure you will be so glad not to have that longtime pain.

I do miss chatting with you Hotties, BUT I really must keep my foot propped, he just sliced part of the side off and dug it out.. cool, shots hurt but not for long (it's just starting to wear off)... Phyllis... I have about 10 to go.. came in for a quick rest and peek in here. I was trying to take more pics but my batteries are dead and I couldn't find anymore, so I have to wait untill they recharge... I am hoping the plants make it, but even now with the projection of 60-75 mph winds... I am wondering!

Becky you silly millie, are you skimming posts? ROTF, look above, Bonnie talked about her surgery and posted a picture of her pretty bandaged foot! haha! You know I love you gal! Love the message on your tootie Bonnie! Don't know if you read my post, but that is the exact same surgery I had several years ago. You need to soak the toe in Epson Salts water every day to make it drain if I remember right, but I'm sure the Dr. told you that.

Peg I'm glad you're feeling better, but take care of yourself!

Hello everyone, Decided to post first then read, I got cuttings today from someone I didn't know and had never spoken to until I knocked on her door. (My sister knew her) I asked for a cutting and she gave me long ones. I pink and 1 white Angel Trumpet, that is the only name she knew for them. Also gave me Gaberial trumpet (white) and seeds of Gaberial trumpets, yellow, purple and white. She, Kay, told me to strip all the leaves off and put in a bucket of water and plant into the ground in April or May. The largest plant is the pink one. Any suggestions? Do you like Gaberial Trumpets?

Well I am all ready for that darn Hurricane Ike to come thru..all I gotta do is board up my windows on the south side of my house..I will be on the dirty side of this storm and hoping nothing will topple over..and mess me up..like Hurricane Rita did...and I got brugs blooming too.. :( ..darn...I will keep ya'll posted to let ya know what is going on..gotta go take some pics for insurance purposes..be back in a spiff...

Started reading and didn't get far before my heart was acheing for Sandy and Louise. I'm so sorry you have had such pain. then read that you AuntB will have toe surgery. Said a prayer for you. When I had that surgery, it was on both big toes and on both sides of both toes at the same time...OUCHHHHHHH. Not really. After the toes were deadened, there was no pain. Wore open toe shoes for awhile, but really cannot say it was terrible. Maybe this old mind has just forgotten. Going back to read more now that I can see again.

I have been married for 28 yrs - to the same guy - 2 yrs younger - He tells his sis now he was an awful husband at first - we've been thru the good , the bad, the ugly - and have come up out of the hole together - with a bond and a flame hotter than when we wed - 2 grown kids - no grankids - A love worth havin is worth workin hard to save - but only if you're BOTH gonna work on it -- He was a diamond in the rough - just be sure what ya got - before ya kick him to the curb,hehe

Kitty, I don't think DH has any relatives☺he said there was no one named Susan in the family tree or that he remembers from school, but he is soooo old,65yrs.,class of '61☺☺. Wow! It was Tozer's Bridge, and a train trestle was near by for dare devils to jump off smack into the deep swimming hole,lots of accidents as the Chemung River changed depth from year to year. Miss Tozer lived on McDuffee St. and was a Science teacher in Sayre,where I graduated. I don't know why the Bridge was named after her.

Faye, you got some fantastic cuttings, and seeds too, lucky burg day for you. There is a thread on the forum about making a burg standard. It has a great explanation of how to root large cutting over the winter. Give it a read when you have the time.

Bonnie hugs and painkillers honey! Where else can you see feet and brug blooms, but on the hottie thread? LMAO. Nice feet gal, I have big ol peasant feet. Nice blooms ladies and Becky that MG bloom looks fasciated. Those do look like two color variations on the malvas. I tried to grow those one year and they did not bloom or return from winter. The plants looked fabulous though. I think it was too wet in the winter for them, coz I have seen colder zones grow them ok.
