Jaye are you trying to make our newest sistah misbehave?

Well, when DBF goes to sleep, I could jump up and down on the bed and he would never know it. He is OUT!!!.. I told him we could be robbed and wouldn't even know it, but then they would have to get pass Bear. He's Chow and Rotweiler (spelling) mixed.

Newest??? Lolol..that's right...she's newest here..!!
I was introduced to Phyllis by another sweetheart, Christi (LouC). And Phyllis don't need any lessons in misbehaving!!
She can easily write a book and a sequel...
okay..looks like the corner is calling me!!

LOl no she's not I sure would if I had any but .....ummm....after our trip back to Illinois last month and step son staying here ...well he lost his job because he went to the store and bought several as in at least 3 if not 4 cases of beer and drank them all his self so he never made it to work and lost his job....so now as far as I know his father has told him there will be no drinking while living in this house. since he can't control himself with it.
he has got another job now and he has to work 90 consecutive days to get on full time so lord willing that will work out.

so I have nothing here for "medicine" and I wold only be able to have a small amount anyway as being a bus driver it is zero tolerance and they do random pee tests. so any drinking I would do would be a Friday or Saturday night so it is out of my system come Monday morning.

Besides Marion if you go back several rooms you will see I posted the recipe for apple pie made with ever clear so I know how to misbehave without any help ...LOL

I have no idea what Harley the german shepard would do...we do know if you go running past our place she will bark at you the while time but she wags her tail for the UPS guy LOL

LOL I got Harley from the rescue last October I missed having a dog around and the beagle was still at my folks in Illinois ...her name should have been thumper though the way she thumps that tail ...she has to be shepard lab- mix
jasmine the bealge could care less unless you have food but then she is 15 yrs old

harley does like to chase after squirrels though and checks out the neighbors lot for anything she can chase after ..she'll lay at the bottom of a tree almost all day waiting on the squirrel.

Oh Phyllis send Harley to me please. I have squirrels everywhere and they like nothing better than to eat my plants. I keep threatening to turn them into stew but do they pay an attention? Nope!

It is a guessing game every year to see where my peacock gingers will reappear.

Now I find it hard to go to the pound.. I'd want to bring all home!
There are 2 animal shelters at the beach, and more are being left there. Lots of them are toy breeds that retirees tend to favor.
I'm a sucker when it comes to animals that need rescuing :(

Well, Don is always in bed before me, and beats me up every morning... we have a deal.. I won't disturb him when I come to bed.. and he keeps the house quiet until I wake up in the morning... so far... that's working great.

He came home at 8pm tonight.. I fed him a big dinner at 8:30... he crawled in bed 15 mins ago... and has been asleep for 10 mins.

LOVE Lola...I miss my doggies.

and I agree with both of ya I hope it dies out before it hits any land in the gulf ...the rain is nice but not the damage and amount of rain.

Phyllis-do you have any problems with the beagle being a barker?? The reason I ask is that gpa had one that he was forced to give up cuz her barked non stop and the neighbors complained ot the city:(

I feel the same way Jaye about pounds-I have been looking for DH cat that ran away-every day for 3 weeks-losing the cat was heartbraking enough, but going home w/o a car load of animal that need a loveing home was just as bad:(

the only time Jasmine barks now is to go out or come in ....he thing when she was young was going through the woven wire fence and getting out ans heeding to where ever she heard kids.
She did bark a lil if she smelled something int he grass but that never lasted long.

Yes Harley does chase rabbits too but we haven't seen many of those this year.
If I had the money to drive up to ya I would as I could stop over in Ann Arbor and visits one of my best friends over there that I have seen in like 4 years LOL

as for the resuce/pounds around here there is alot of cross breeding wtih pit bulls so it was easy for me not to want to take them all home....

Mine has some info posted but will add more later. Don't know about ya'll but I have trouble keeping track of everyone and their individual interests, color schemes, etc.

Thank you my dear!! I am sure we all say that at times about our children. I did before we returned from Canada. First trip in ages with the 2 of them and they decided it was pick on Mom time. I finally reached the point, I just nodded my head and waved!!! Yes, we love 'em to death but can get annoyed also.
