Where is your DG central?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thank Donniebrook for the thread idea.
She showed the last picture of her "birthingroom"office and said it would make a nice thread to see where everybody posts from.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

So the idea was conceived in the birthing room!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

OMG TOO Funny

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Conceived in the Birthing Room.....hilarious! I am really enjoying this thread, JoAnn. It is so much fun to see where we all nest. You can see the common thread of our love of nature, just as Liza said. I'd be very comfy having a cup of coffee or tea and visiting with everyone above in their special spaces.

Love the first one, make sure your speakers are on. Really like the Rogaine.

Pretty song!

Louise,
I have you to thank for my latest expense. Wanting satellite internet so desperately, I jumped on your comment about Wild Blue. So, next Thursday I should be in business!!!

Thank you so much! Now, my DG central can be anywhere.

Thomaston, CT

Sue, my birds are carved----from a very large swan to a very small parrot that my Grandd. beheaded--that came from a craft fair in FL & is supposed to be made from coconut! Here is a sampling of a few--maybe this would make a thread--collections!

Nice collection, robindog!
I could show off my collection, too. Perhaps we should create a collections thread.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

The only thing I collect is dirt and plants.

Oh gosh a collection thread. Now your going to make me go all around the yard up and down and all around to take pictures of the WHEELS. The sleighs, buggies, prams, scooter, wagons. That is not to mention cars that I have really never showed.

1936 international street road
A camaro
1938 Panel or box thing.
dump truck (which I can drive) :-)
excavator
Box truck
a Saturn
A plymouth Van
Chevy Elderado
Enclosed trailer full of stuff.
2 car trailers.
last but not least
CANDYCE
2 race cars

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Not a bad idea. I have original prints and pottery and glass.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Sherrie, what is Candyce doing hanging out in your yard?

ROTFLOL. There is a couple in here that likes stock car racing and she is one of them.So I was yelling at her to get away :-)

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Oh! He he he!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

race cars, hmmmmm?
Any cute drivers to go with 'em?

DH son who just left his wife for the big D. The other I wont even go there. No word to describe them.

Mid-Cape, MA(Zone 7a)

Sherrie, what a great collection of WHEELS!! My husband would kill to have a chance to "kick tires" and drive a few himself. He's a car-nut, and you know how they are.. . . . well, you ARE one yourself! LOL

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Sherrie, ahem, (polite cough) are they all registered?

Yes - except the race cars. They dont have to be.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sherrie,
What year camaro?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Jersey vs. New Hampshire race????

1980 Z28 with a rebuilt engine with some snot.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cool!!
My first car was a '77 metallic dark blue with white leather interior, that hubby was supposed to change out the engine to a 400 corvette engine but got stuck when something didn't fit right, so we sold it. I loved that car.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my first was a 70 cutlass fastback... just like this one... but mine was black inside & out

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Ours was gold and black also. small world.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Candyce - that's GREAT! Except for not being able to get the internet whenever it rains, satellite internet is a whole lot better than dial-up! Congrats! You will enjoy DG much more, I'm sure!! Yay!!!!

Atkinson, NH(Zone 5a)

For those of you who are interested.

"Don't forget to show us John's area when he isn't looking! LOL"

Here's what Liza found when she tried to show you the John's area.

Oh No, John! You are wise to my tricks! LOL

What a cool blog! Very nicely done and great photos! I'm looking forward to seeing you and Liza at Candyce's.

Louise

Leaving central headquarters today to go to an auction. Husband wants this and a few other things. Not my type of auction - oh well

That would make a nice prefab garden shed LOL
on second thought. Leave the logo on it and it can be "the dog house" when you are at odds withe ach other.

I thought the same thing, JoAnn, about the garden shed thing.

More wheels schick? lol

Yes, very nice blog, John.

More wheels will arrive in a week - oh my gosh. He also got a BIG compressor, I mean big.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Sherrie - what does he plan to do with the trailer? And the compressor? LOL Could he be planning a huge Christmas surprise for you???? New garden central???

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Sounds like a plan to me. Maybe we should tell him that is what he is going to do. Sometimes they don't realize the obvious. lol

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

LOL, Jan!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

For sure, Jan!!!

It is called storage. Lots of storage, for STUFF of all avenues. Buggies, sleighs, a car here and there. A garage that you cant even hardley walk around in with STUFF. It seems the older you get the less STUFF you want to own. We keep accumulating more STUFF.

The compressor he will be putting in the garage as the old one is ready to die. See now we have 3 compressors even though 1 is ready to bite the bullet! More STUFF....

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

But, you know that whenever you get rid of something you have need of it the very next day. That's DH's philosophy anyway. He has gotten very good at recycling things. Old green (chalk) boards are the roof of a shed. I should talk, I have a lavendar toilet in the garden that has plants growing in the tank and the bowl. He has rubbed off on me. lol. Though, I wouldn't have it any other way.
