Thanks, Kathy.......how did I miss that? Glad you got one of them!!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Ted was such a sweet guy. We had a good talk about NJ where I grew up. Karen and friend Karen and I talked daylilies and primulas. I got two DLs from Karen-Stoplight and Canyonlands. Thanks, Karen!!!

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Kathy, do you have CD? I probably didn't know what it was the first time I met you! Now my DD#1 has been dx x 2 yrs and I pick up on those little lists of what you're allergic to!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I'm home too. Jeez, I should probably take off my name tag now. The drive to NH was so beautiful and it was a perfect day! Having some time to talk to people who like to talk about plants was just want I desperately needed after the vet visit with Sam this morning. I now have my official DG RU sweater thanks to Sherrie. Sorry I missed seeing you! I have daylillies from Karen to add to the ones from Arlene - there will be a wonderful new daylily garden that I will be able to see from my front porch next summer. (I'd better hurry up and get it planted!) Candyce - thank you so much for hosting. I love the terraced garden you are making and bet it will be spectacular next summer with Karen's daylillies! And, best of all, we got to help Harper celebrate her birthday tomorrow!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi!!! it was such a perfect day! great weather and what a pleasant drive... well, of course I got lost coming home... I kept looking at the trees and got completely distracted and missed a turn... I started to laugh at myself... but I enjoyed the ride until it got dark... them I really had to pay attention and come home!!!!

It was a great day... had so much fun seeing everyone again and also seeing some other GDs. for the first time... what a joy! Really a pleasure!

no pictures from me this time... I was busy talking!

Thanks Candyce and Anna... what gorgeous girls you have!!!!

Mid-Cape, MA(Zone 7a)

Oh it all looked so lovely--the sky was so blue and the leaf-colors were gorgeous and the food looked great. I hated to miss the RU at Candyce's and Anna's. Not gonna happen again!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

looked like a great day.... I am pooped out from cooking for the party... going to pass out.. talk to you guys tomorrow

Sorry I did not stick around to meet new and all. Had to come home and do wood. 3-1/2 cords later, I hurt a tad today. Thanks Candyce for having the RU. Thank you for the seeds and tubers as they will be put to use. It was a spectular ride! In fact it was only 5 different roads to get to your door and only 43 minutes! Dont be surprised if you see a white car pull in your yard again :-)

Remember I was talking about the huge wind turbines, I saw, headed your way. I talked to husband and asked them if he saw them, with the crane and the huge box. He said "no". I am going to take the camera and go get a picture of them.

I am so happy and pleased that my DG friends enjoyed themselves. Anna and I had a wonderful time doing what we like to do just slightly more than gardening - and that is to be entertaining our friends on a beautiful day.

We are especially touched by the generosity of the New England gardeners! We have so many wonderful 'new' plants to put into the terraced garden, and even have some to put into the shade garden, too.

I loved the look on Harper's face when we all began to sing 'Happy Birthday' ... and thanks, Hank, for breaking into song so strong and clear for us!!

I just got out of bed and I haven't downloaded my photos yet. But I will very soon.

Louise ~ I love the photo of Gregg and me together. It make me laugh so hard, and Gregg had to come over to the screen and find out what was making the tears run down my face!

Thank you, everyone, for coming!!!! I loved every minute of yesterday!!!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Looks like it was a perfect day - weatherwise, plantwise, friendwise, and foodwise. I was thinking about you all day. Kept looking for updates on the thread. lol.

Glad AYC that you were able to get in to the vet early enough so that you could make it.

Now, get planting everyone...

Atkinson, NH(Zone 5a)

Hi Guys...We had a wonderful time...Our pictures didn't turn out too well as I was trying a new "wide angle lens" and it was really too bright, and I was unfamiliar with camera settings, hence not many photos..but we really enjoyed ourselves...I haven't been on line before tonight...Got up early Sunday morning and went to my 6 year old Grandson's football game, and then he and his brother slept over Sunday night...so ahhhh...it is Monday night and I am finally looking at pictures, which are all so good..

Anna and Candyce...we really want to think you for having the RU..it was beautiful day with great friends and your place is a touch of "heaven". We really enjoyed ourselves and hope we will have many more gatherings like that.

Charlie Brown thoroughly enjoyed himself too... and I haven't been on leaf peepers ride for years....

Thank you thank you thank you.

You're welcome, Kathy! I was happy to give them away to people I know will take care of them.

Memory, I'm sure those DL's will be happy in their new home at your place. They'll look good there.

It was great meeting everyone and seeing those I had met before at Kassia's RU in June of 2007. My Dad and friend Karen had a wonderful time, and after leaving we spent the next 2 days sight seeing and taking tons of photos of all the beautiful foliage. I just got home tonight at about 11:30 and have finally finished looking at everyone's pics. I had my camera in the car and was too busy to take pics! That is very unlike me.

Candyce, thanks so much for hosting the party. We had a fantastic time, and will come again next year if you decide to do it again. That holiday weekend works great for me, and it's the perfect time for viewing foliage. My crew and I want to come up a day earlier to have more "leaf-peeping" time, as it were. Anyhow, I'm sure the DL's will be happy in their new home. You have a great place, and you're surrounded by so much natural beauty. I'm envious! My friend Karen kept saying she didn't want to go home.

Well, tomorrow I'm off one more day from work, and I have to get some planting done. Then it's back to the old grind for me.

Karen

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Well that settles it!
We'll hold one again next year, OK?

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

That sounds good to me!

Peter:

So sorry that you couldn't be here. Football is important though, and I know your son will appreciate the time you took to be with him.

So just make plans for Columbus Day weekend of next year ... and allow plenty of time for traveling!

Yonkers, NY(Zone 5b)

Glad y'all had a great time.
Sorry I couldn't make it.
It was nice to see the pics and see familiar faces from the RU at Kassia's.

Nancy
