Garden Photos - Part 35

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

REALLY people take themselves way too seriously.
The world needs to lighten up.

Calkins Rd? It's smaller than Monroe Ave. 100,000 sqft. Didn't know about the wine cellar.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I dont know about the winw cellar either, glad to hear its not as big as Monroe ave.
There is a Wegs. in Maryland near Reston that has a wine cellar ,and there has been talk but you know the Wegmans, there is always talk.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

If I don't hear from you later today, I'll come looking for you in the wine cellar!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

You will definatly know I'm there.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I like the white one, Alizes is it?, the best. What a nice grouping those will all make together!

Very pretty phlox!

Thomaston, CT

You're going to have just as many iris as DL's, Pixie--I'm jealous! Jo Ann & Debi--I wait for my yearly trip to Wegman's! This year they had lobster mushrooms which looked just like picked lobster meat---only $67 a pound! This weekend is Bethlehem Fair time--my flowers are either dying or not opened yet, & they have to be in by tomorrow night. Guess I won't be showing much other than marigolds & cosmos! Here is 1 last DL blooming today---

Robindog
How many pounds of lobster mushrooms did you buy?
I think the truffels at $300.00 per pound ( about $18.00 per oz.)is outrageous.
Probably only takes a nanno ounce for anything to cook with.
Sorry about the competition at the Fair.Just go and have a good time.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

ROBONDOG, love that DL. Very pretty color.

Pixie, really nice irises you've planted. My favorites are Degas Dancer, Dangerous Mood, and Raspberry Blush, and Joyce Terry.

ge, when you mentioned your full 'sin' garden, it gave me an idea to plant a sin based garden, with plants like Lucifer crocosmia, Devil's Footprint DL, Satan's Fire DL, and other reds that would go with the them. BTW, I knew you meant full sun, but I was only messing with you. ;-)

Well, I wasn't so sure, because I knew there was crocosmia - maybe Lucifer, and nasturtium - nasty? etc.
