Hard to believe we're up to 35! Things are still blooming around here. Not quite ready for fall yet, though I'm starting to see some fall color. Here is a Sedum Black Jack.
Garden Photos - Part 35
nice shots victor - you need to move the yard north to upper maine for one year so our blooms will be ahead of yours!! your sedum is about 10 days in front of mine. although the honey bee's are still busy on them.
Great shots, Allison! I love hummers, and I love your agastaches. I've gotten a few this year. One is an annual called Coral Nymph. Very nice! Love your cute dog.
Victor, love your itsy bitsy spider from the last thread.
So, ge, is that garden full of sin (from previous thread)? Or did you mean it's full sun? (he, he! ;-P ). Am I the only one who caught that? Well, it does have a lot of red.
Great pics, as usual, everyone. I missed a couple days and there's just too much to see. Just kinda skimmed through. I know I've missed some stuff.
Karen
I think she meant sin!
LOL!
Victor, nice pictures, as usual. You are a picture taking fool! Where do you find the time to take all those pictures and work in the gardens as well? Are you retired? I sure wish I had more time for my gardens. I could cut back on my hours at work, but then I'd have a lot less money for my gardens! LOL! I used to take a lot more pictures. Been slacking off these days. I'm trying to bring my camera around with me a lot more these days.
Here are some pics that I took last week at a park in Plymouth, MA.

BES at the Jenny Grist Mill.
I caught the 'sin', but was forgiving. Nice mill shot with the petasites, Karen. I am a full-time dad these days, which gives me more time than I would normally have.
That's funny Victor, sin....forgiving...hee hee
They were some great pics, Allison.
Ah, I see, Victor. I have never had children, and now that I'm in my mid-40's I don't think I will. It's okay with me. I have lots of other things that fill up my life. I know being a full-time Mom or Dad is just as much work, if not more, as having a job. However, if the kids are in school, then you have all those hours during the day in which to play in the gardens, I suppose.

Here's 'Kiss Me Over The Garden Gate'. I don't know the botanical name, but I think it's either polygonum (related to Japanese knotweed) or something else that begins with 'p' that doesn't come to mind at the moment. Whatever it is, i happen to like it.
I'm in my mid-forties too (45), and I'm looking to give mine away. Interested? Just kidding - they're good kids - so far. Don't quite have the whole day to play in the garden. Have other responsibilities and (gasp!), some non-gardening interests.
LOL! You can keep them, Victor! I'm sure they're great, though, all kidding aside, pun intended ;-) . Oops, I guess I have other non-gardening interests as well. Gotta have something in life besides gardening. I've never been one to stick with the 'same old, same old'. Life is too interesting to not savor as many possibilities that one can.

I am amazed how well the stability correction works... those were all taken without a tripod... with my shaky hands I would never be able to do that with my old 35MM... besides my old zooms were so heavy I had a hard time holding the thing steady... this one is a lot lighter
Great photos, guys ... and great information!
I'm off to bed after a long day.
Oh, Laura's gardens look so nice. I love that rose, too. Very pretty.
Nice pictures Kassia.
The BES vine is annual. I grow them every year as DH likes them.
very pretty pictures Kassia
Thats ---SUN ----garden guys.
When will I learn to preview.
heehee
I think you did have some Nasty stuff in there!
good morning Debbi.
These mistakes happen when I've been posting too long and reviewing email too.
The front of the house gets sun nearly all day.Faces south so the livingroom window is where I will winter over plants. The sun is there all winter until march oe April when it rises at the back of the house.
The GD is off to school today, senior, cant decide what she wants to do about college.
I'm shopping at the Critinden Road Wegmans. I'll send a smoke signal if I get lost.Is it true the store is 600,00 sq.ft? with a wine cellar? Where will it all end.
I can barely make it around the one on Monroe Ave.

Hi JoAnn
I once had a co-worker tell me that I sent a very negative e-mail, (others told me it was not...)
Since then I always read over stuff before sending. At times, for work, it takes 20 minutes to write an e-mail, just to make sure I am getting the correct point across.
Here it just makes for more fun!
