We had been Walmarting, getting prepared for any storm. Can't believe they were running low on bottled water. Got a bunch of canned goods and Kel's happy that this time, I let him get some cans of spam! We'll be okay sweet niece, as long as the generator's working.

I am home also, exhausted but home. Loved seeing all my neices and nephews and their children and in some cases grandchildren!! Sad part was knowing I wouldn't see my big brother again. He would want me to continue and as he has told many times: Life does continue.

Lovely cool no humidity days, wonderful food, incredible gardens to view when we walked around Ingersoll or drove into London!!! Unbelievable, did I take pictures? Nada just plain forgot camera at niece's home when we went out. Thought of you often Betty and would have loved to get together but it was rather hectic.

Winds today but no rain. I don't really need any wind nor rain but ...

Please all along the path of this "man" take care, be safe and check in when you can.

BUT... WARNING... I will not work as hard as Kathy did when everyone comes to see me... sorry sistahs... she made me tired just watching her move like a tornado...

There certainly is about 125 miles north of Detroit. We flew into Detroit and drove to Ingersoll (son didn't have passport and could cross border by car) crossed at Port Huron into Sarnia and on our way!! Was one of the "lucky" ones who were pulled over for a search of the car. All cars being searched were light colored and our rental was silver. Figured they were looking for something--nothing with us though.
