Gorgeous day here today......70s and sunny most of the day. Had to water the garden for the first time in months!

I think we had about 6 1/2 drops, but it rained 1/2 mile away, go figure.

we FINALLY got some decent showers... wouldn't exactly call it a full out rain... but I will take it

Haven't had rain in over a week but the first week or two of August was nothing but rain, go figure.

DH asked this morning if I had heard the thunder and rain last night. I know I am a sound sleeper, so I looked at him funny. He was pullin my leg. Back to watering. sigh. It was overcast pretty much all day and in the late afternoon there was a shower with 12 drops. 2 more than the one in the morning. DH drove through rain on the way home from school, but as he crossed the bridge from Del. to NJ it stopped. That is a typical occurrence. second sigh.
Forecast is for some rain -yeah, right more humid definitely- I can feel my hair frizzing.

It is suppose to be a very hot and humid week this week with plenty of sun. I think we are finally getting our summer now. Sheesh!!

I am not loving that I will have to start watering the gardens again, though. We haven't had rain in about a week or so.

Rained yest. morn for awhile, buit cleared for cousin's picnic--our FL friends are at their GD 's wedding right now---a beauty of a day for an outdoor ceremony--tomorrow-- picnic at the farm--getting very used to not cooking!

well we had a party here yesterday with 17 people... the weather couldn't get much better.... we put out our awning to block the sun on the deck... and it was sooo pleasant ... good thing too I wouldn't be able to sit all those people in my house
