Nice to see the sun today, but it is slow in warming up the house. Sorry about the early frost warnings---last year our 1st frost was middle Oct.--don't think it's going to be that late this year----heading to the farm to babysit---hope it warms enough to play with the girls outside---I'm a big believer of fresh air. If kids walked to school, they would be too tired to misbehave---I certainly was!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Gorgeous day! Had a great hike. I'll post a pic or two later. 75 and sunny . Slight breeze. Heavenly.

Thomaston, CT

Good thought, Jo Ann! It is partly-cloudy, breezy, & still cool at 60--supposed to warm to 65--we'll see! Had a great time outside with the GDs--took a walk on the wooded trail around the house---looked every second for snakes! They move about this time of year, I always see them squished in the road down by the river. The old iron mine looked interesting, Victor. We have a Leadmine Brook below us, but have no clue where the mine is or was.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

57 and windy.....makes it raw.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

If my net worth keeps dropping, I'll be in deep fleecies...

Sherrie, I think it's only live certain times of the day???? You'll see "chatroom is now open" on the upper right hand side of your home page.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I noticed that, as well .... sometimes it's on ..... sometimes it's not!
