And he couldn't get up in the morning. Rain, rain, go away; Come again another day;Little Johnny (Marion) wants to play.

So how is it in Cordele. Getting harder here and the bumps and thumps are more frequent. Afraid to look and see what is coming down. They still haven't let Kim leave school. Urrrgh!!!!

The rain as stopped for now. The wind is getting harder. Never mind on the rain stopping, It just started again as I'm typing.
They should let Kim go especially since she must drive south back into it. She wish she would complain to her Principle.

Call the sheriff!! For safety's sake the schools should be closed!!

By the time I'm through typing this and posting, hope Kim should be home by now.

It's still raining here and if this continues, I would just have to pick up all my gnome folks. Tante Joey failed to make a pirogue for them!

oh goodness - got in here in the middle of Fay?! how many times can she come back around and hit FL?

Well, I've already worn myself out doing the "Rain, Rain, Go Away" dance...

me too-I need to rest-plus I must be doing it wrong, cuz it ain't helping!!LOL

Well, guess we're both needing "de-rain" dance lessons... cause what I'm doing isn't working either.

I am trying to difuse it and bring some my way, but it just stays where it is:( Oh well.....have to get another stage of glue going on all my crafts:)

Well BJ, you can add to my repertoire of crafts, as the glue stick expert!!
Still wet out there, I'm afraid along with the rains, there will be an influx of mosquitos. Poor Marion, I hope the weather eases up down there.

Woo Hoo... not everyone can claim "glue stick" as one of their best accomplishments...

I think I failed "glue" in Kindergarten... can't remember... but I usually make a mess with all glues... so, I'm thinking maybe I just never "got it" in that class.

Here I am floating by in my paddle boat!!! No need to paddle water just taking us right along!!! Lost power for awhile but is back but blinky. Yes, Kim did get home just as the really bad winds and rain bands started.

Bon, please not back into the Atlantic it would have to cross Florida yet another time!!

It is pounding and doing a nice job of cleaning the debris from the trees even put on of the tops (I think) on the end of the driveway. It's to dark to tell what it is but it is big!!
About ready to dig out the ice cream and just sit back and .....well whatever you do in this weather!!! Just hope and praying son doesn't have any more trees go down. He has some down, one limb fell on the house and no power. That should be fun with the girls. As long as my family is safe all this other stuff can be taken care of.

Stay dry and safe everyone and just want you to know I am now accepting orders for water to be sent your way!!!

Don came home early tonight (with his new motor scooter, ugh)... and I just showed him on the radar I'm looking at where all my friends are in the path of Lady Faye... He's walking the floors now... he thinks that she's not finished yet... and close enough to the gulf to generate energy from it... "she's a very strange storm, so tell your friends to watch out..."

Well her winds have increased as she hit Florida for the 4th time according to the last report we got. Deborah, you are in the middle of the skirt not the skirttail with lots more and harder to follow!! Don't you just love a person with good news? LOL

Had a quiet break for awhile but the winds and rain have started again. Just heard the worse is still to come. Batten down the hatches for sure.

BJ, I found it interesting on the weather site you use --you can go in right to my lot!! I am on the very tip of the point on Blue Heron. Check it out. Just a little above Midway and keep fine tuning it and you should see my street.

Oh, man! you're right Marion. I went to that satilite photo on that link. I'm in the red! I thought surely we were clearing when we went to dinner. No sooner than we got back in the house the bottom fell out.

Loooks like Kathy will get the edges, but not the main part-that's great news-she is heading over through bottom of LA and then up through Miss as she dissapates:) It does look like you are gonna be feeling her at her weakest though when the girls are at your house:(

I guess put me down as being good at tacky glue, floral, basket, creative idea, painting (not mural-Betty type) and hodge podge (NOT modge podge-going to try it though:))

bonjon – I finally gave my mom one three (?) years ago, even if it was a step-granddaughter. I hope to give her another one in the next 10 years.

Jaye – I need to pick up one more item and I can finish my Jar, I finished my 3Bs house today, I think I already have my cute critter and bird feeder, though I won’t know till I get my names. I’m actually feeling on top of my trades. Also, since my 3Bs house turned out so well, I’m far more optimistic about being able to pull them off without embarrassing myself.

Marion – I have multi-colored versions of those candles.

BJ – I was working on my 3Bs house most of the day.

General (Though sparked by Stacey’s getting glue everywhere comment) – How many of you suffer from it being obvious what you have been working on? I garden and have dirt under my nails forever, no mater how many time I wash and scrape under my finger nails. I paint and same deal with paint. Dyes are the worst; I end up with strange colored hands for at least a week. I get wood or metal splinters when I work with them. The list goes on…

To all dancing with Faye – beware she’s not a lady, but a word we can’t say on here. Be careful and don’t turn your back on her. Good wishes going your way; hope everyone is safe, and all their stuff is where it’s supposed to be.

Well, Ya'll pray really hard for Marion today... according to the radar, she right in the front of the RED area of the radar... meaning that she's getting hit pretty hard right now with some really heavy rains and winds... and there's more of the same heading her way... will probably get pounded all day.
She's probably without power, and hunkered down with no way to get out if she even could because there's limbs or trees across her drive way, and probably all over the streets... so, say a prayer for her and her daughter... son, dil and grandkids had a limb on the roof last night, and probably more damage in the pounding they're getting today...

LORD, Please keep our friends in the storm safe from harm....

Now... I'm also wondering (worrying) about JoJo... where or where could that girl be?

BJ, Marion reported next door..new room. Yes, we got to pray hard for all our sistahs!
