I suffer from insomnia among other things.

really-I wish I did-I always feel tired and never seem to have enough sleep....I could get so much more done if i was up all night....

Good morning Sistahs and BFN!
I was thinking of earlier than that, Stacey..like mid-September, so this will give those crafts extra time to cure ;), or allow those days needed for mailing time for anything ordered online....and time to bid on eBay.

Anything that's going to be special will need more time in planning and execution.
But, you have to wait till mid-December to mail out the gift.

Morever it takes days for inspirations to pop up in this old head of mine....!

Jaye I agree with you on the date for sure. Brain matter is slowing down or wait, schedule is getting busier I guess. Can't believe it is back to planning sessions for the festival already.

Besides this place I enjoy, I am already being swapped with request for applications for our festival. Fortunately I can send via cyberspace!!

Laura, "Welcome 2009" is just a swap within this group. You make one special gift to be sent out mid December to one from this group.
That gift can be anything -- something to ring in the New Year -- mayhaps a bulb that you want your buddy to have in her 2009 garden.

When do we sign up Jaye? Put me down for sure, pretty please.

Let me talk to mom, we're promised on so many swaps, but it might be doable.

Laura, I think that is why several are trying to get some swaps that take longer to give everyone a little bit of a breather and generate some different ideas. Could be wrong too.

School is cancelled here is Gadsden County and in Leon County (Tally) but Kim has to go to work. You know that ole Georgia state line will stop the winds and rain every time.

Trying to finish another jar Marion, and entertaining some church sisters who went home with some jar ideas!!! I can see them now, a few weeks from now... there'll be jars on the pews!!!!! All BJ's fault!!!

I gathered all the things I need to finish my jars today so if I am housebound this weekend and it looks like I will be, I will spend it crafting!! Having fun and trying not to listen the sound of the wind, rain and trees complaining!

Not good. Just checked the lates advisory for Fay. Instead of being a tropical depression we are not in the zone for storm winds and extremely heavy rains. Jammie weekend. Make a pot of homemade soup, chill out with crafts, good book or sleep. Well try to if I can shut out the moaning and groaning of the trees in the rain and wind.
Nope Jaye, put on Sweeny Todd or some musicals or maybe Neil Diamond for this old gal.

This lady is something else. Course has changed since 5 this afternoon .

Now Niece, since you've finished the jar, you can start on the birdfeeder, unless you're buying one. Would you believe that I might do a birdfeeder from scratch, but if that failed, I already got 2 back ups!!

I am almost done with the jar and I am done w/ the birdhouse-just gotta put a coat of varnish on it....and will start on the feeder net week...I bought all the cute critter stuff, so that one is all done:) And I got some Xmas presents that need to be started on:)

That's better. I need a ray of sunshine as it isn't going to be sunny here that is certain. I only slept about 4 hours and now I am feeling it.

I may goodness, yes! Just when all the Monarchs arrived too! Grrr I hope the wind doesn't blow them away.

I do too as I am now just getting flutterbys here and so thrilled about it!!!! Has taken me 3 years but now I can watch them feed from the breakfast nook window.

One consolation for today's outside ugliness, maybe I can get the inside of the house cleaned today.
