Well, I was very tubby too when I was a kid... and took all the ribbing that all the kids could come up with... double whammy was that my sister was a prima donna.. and I couldn't compete with her... I always said, that I was the child only a father could love... and he did.

My brother is the over achiever; I’m just the one that never got into major trouble. Negatives, in the things that didn’t happen, don’t spend well till much later.
I think I was a challenge for my parents. I had a mind of my own and a will to match.
I realized in 4th grade that teachers could wrong; I even went and proved I was right in a book and she wouldn’t admit that she was wrong; my first instance of citing. Because of this I stopped doing subjects that didn’t interest me. I can tell you how to find out how I liked classes in high school, if you look at my high school transcript. If I liked teacher and subject I got an A, If I liked either I got a C, and if I liked neither I flunked, maybe D.
I caused my boyfriend of two years to move in with us when we were 16.
I’m sure my mom can share more examples if she chooses. :o)
General – I never had a nickname that I can remember I was called all types of rude names; it was the sentences and actions that hurt. Like we were on a Californian Gold rush, multi-day field trip in middle school and some one riffled through my bag and took all my underwear and threw it into the basketball hoop.
The closest I’ve come to a nickname is Ladybug, but that’s more an emblem, and Zhinu.
Sis – I did that Monday, it was scary. I wonder how many undiscovered primitive life forms I’ve killed over the years forgetting things in the fridge. I swear some of them tried to run away when I finally found them ;o)
Marion – It was wet, but sunny when I got up, I love mornings like that; everything seems so clean and happy. Now it looks like the wind and rain are coming back in. I’m actually trying to collect water this storm system. We’ll see how it goes.
General – I was a stick as a kid. Even in high school I was 5’ 85 lbs. It’s caught up since then, not that I’m overweight, same height 120ish lbs., I’d prefer about 110, but I’m more human looking at least then I was in high school.
