Helenah, I just love your blue blizzard. Really special...

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Helena - Lovely blooms to wake up to this morning! How pretty the "blue" blizzard are! Are they actually blue or purple as they look in the photo?

Gautier, MS

Thanks Elsa and Becky. The blizzard are blue with a hint of purple, but they turn purple as they start to wilt. I need to water them now.

I am having a very strange year. Nearly all of my nil seeds waited until the first week of September to SPROUT!
Now I have about a month and a half before frost, to see if they can actually bloom at least once.

Love the light purple Beth. Nice photo too.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Helena - WOW! Nice blooms!!!

Beth - What is the Lavender blooming vine? Really pretty! Leaves look different! Indigo Feathers - Okay ... I'm either color-blind or misinformed about this vine. I thought it was more of a purple/white/blue bloom on Indigo Feathers. The color of your bloom reminded me of Sunrise Serenade.

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

Hi Becky,
Sunrise Serenade is more pink. Indigo feathers is more purple, as I am finding in this first year of growing it. If I get both blooming on the same day I should photograph them side by side.
The nil is from "Festival Mix" seeds and so I don't know the actual name.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie, Becky and Beth those are pretty blooms. I like that dark lavender color.

Todays LYK bloomed, not sure why the red paches, maybe damage caused by something as the bloom was developing? I think the bloom is prettier in person.
