Helena - This one is soooo pretty! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5419167 If you should get enough seeds, I would really love 3-4! :-) All of them are just astonishingly beautiful! I wanna know what's in your soil to make them so gorgeous!

Gautier, MS

Hi Becky, thanks. I'll save you some seeds. Don't remember exactly what soil I used maybe a mixture of compost and I like that Sta-Green Moisture Max.

Thanks Ron, it looks like it's a good bloomer. More rain here today, it seems that I have less blooms that don't want to open.

Thank you Ronnie & Jackie.

And fujishobori is still doing it's thing now & then.

Helena, awesome flowers, that Fujishibori is unique with the solid patch! I haven't seen that before on my vines (yet). Great growing there!

Joseph

Gautier, MS

Thanks Joseph, your too kind. I think you grow some awesome MG's.

Thanks, Helena. Hey, do you have any new Salvias going this year? New ones I have going from seed are Salvia castanea and S. engelmanii. I am hopeful one or both will make it through the winter. I have extras of engelmanii due to high germination rate of seeds if you want any.

Gautier, MS

Hey Joseph, I was tempted & got salvia pauciserrata, salvia adenophora & salvia Marwin from ebay only a few seeds but enough to try this fall. Wow, I think castanea is hard to find, isn't it?
Sure, would love to try engemanii. Will look it up in Robins site.

It's raining here so the pics aren't very good.

Helena - You blooms are knock your socks off beautiful!!! Honestly ... I love the Plum Surprise and the Berlin Blue Swirl. Cool name, too! :-) I look forward to seeing what ya got bloomin every day! :-)

Gautier, MS

Thank you Jackie & Becky. I may have a few new vines blooming soon. Today I found a tiny caterpillar or maybe an inchworm eating the leaves of a new mg vine. Becky it was also eating leaves on the LYK so maybe now it maybe closer to getting blooms.

Oh! I hope so!!! I am very interested to see what your blooms will look like on the LYK! I can't wait! :-)

Helena, that was a cool effect with the water spots on the flowers!
