I’m new here and new to growing Morning Glories. This has been my first time growing them. I planted a few different types in the spring. Some have had lots of beautiful blooms. One type I planted was a light lavender. It has grown beautiful vines but I’ve yet to have even one bloom. Don’t know what’s up with that.
My question is some of my vines are getting really scraggly looking. Is it time to cut them back? I live in northeast Florida.

Purpureas here in Arkansas tend to bloom later, more so in the fall, enjoying the cooler temps. You shouldn;'t have to cut the vines back. Your non-bloomer could be a purp waiting for the cooler temps b4 starting to make blooms, especially since your in Floroda with very warm temps.
Your blooms are lovely so you're doing something right,. :-)
