You have th most posted flowers of anyone.
Your gardens must be magnificent.

Thanks, Pixie for the info on the lily--I order from B&D, but missed that one---your flower collages are very nice---there's a large pink OL that's really eye-catching! Here's an anemone just opening.

These blooms are scattered through-out 15-18 different beds. They are starting to look bare and reminding me summer is almost over. Rose of Sharon always open late August...this one IS a few weeks early this year. I hope that it doesn't mean winter will come a few weeks earlier! YUK!!

And here's a bluestone patio my DS has been working on all summer at his house--hopefully, he can finish it this weekend.

The bluestone is beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Thanks---he actually bought it from a house that was being demolished on the Gold Coast of CT---people there buy up million dollar properties, knock them down, & put up multi-million dollar places! Oh, well--nice to have bucks, I guess--I'll never know!

We have enjoyed some sunshine for three straight days, so far. What a blessing! But what a mess the gardens are. It's gonna take more than a weekend to get them 'fixed up' and pretty again.

From today:

My BESV which I started from seed (twice) this year. I had to try growing it twice because the cats ate my first attempt!

Notice the glorious sunshine today!

That blue stone is real sharp, for sure. Looks great.

Is this another fun guy?

I found these growing in my split-leaf philodendron.

I thought they were part of the roots, then they started to look like small potatoes, then they started to get a small rip in the top, then they blasted open!

A graceful stand of echinacea ....

Anyone have any ideas who this might be?

Here's a close up I took AFTER I poked it in the side to see "what's up wit dat??"

Please ignore the dent.

As a kid I remember calling them 'puff-balls'. Don't know what they really are, but they are a type of fungi. They were a lot of fun to stomp on!

Here's an unknown, to me, sedum. I guess I should wait until it blooms to ID it, but it looks so pretty at this stage, too.

My favorite 'invader', the Johnny Jump Up. I don't care if so many people believe they are a weed. I just think they are adorable, and they 'jump up' in the most unexpected places.

wasnt there a childrens song about john jump up

Thanks for the lead, Candyce!! Puffballs lead me to Geastrum which told me it was a type of EarthStar Puffball. Of which I see there are many, and all of them too similar for me to decide which one it is.

EarthStar Puffball, Thanks!

One more. This window is opposite the glass door. That is my ridiculously large orchid collection attached to the red barn.

Edited for really bad grammar.
