Nude Gardening

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Where oh where would I hang my garden shears.

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

I'm not sure I could handle all the mosquito bites. As it is, I need to wear long sleeves and long pants just to keep them from sucking me dry. Interesting thought, though.

Oh, and anyone here in or around the Jonesboro, GA area, some of us DG gardeners are planning to get together, talk, share ideas and swap plants.

YES!! Everyone I have 'WARNED' has literally laughed at my pridicament! They certainly wouldnt have been on the laughing end if it had happened to them!! I was going to post a cautionary post on the very subject when I saw this forum and decided I might as well hide it a little!

As Byrun cautioned, if you plan on gardening in the nude there are place you gals should not visit!!

(Zone 6a)

Haven't received any pictures to judge.....so I guess it's all chat and no show:) LMAO :)

Makes it difficult to select a winner though:) LOL

Owen, some things are just best left to the imagination! And if you can imagine this old lady in the nude you should be writing horror stories!

Louisville, KY(Zone 6a)

LOL, Zany!! I was reaing the post previous to yours and think about leaving some things to the imagination too!! Too funny! The exact words!

Horseshoe painted us a very interesting picture on one of these posts...do you think we could handle the real thing?? I'd rather just imagine...no offense Horsehoe!!

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Hi Smiln32 - Thanks for the plug about the Plant Swap, things are really looking up now. Remember all, it's Sept15th at my house.

I think gardening in the nude whold be a lot of fun. I don't believe my neighbors would think so. I really don't have the body to garden nude. I not fat just really fluffy.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

HAH! Well, all my life I've been too skinny to support bean vines, however, in the last few yrs I have acquired a bit of fluffyness...just above my belt line. I am so proud of it! Never had it before! And yes fivekulps and Honibee...I too will keep an ear out for a car coming down the road...mainly to save ya'll any embarrASSment!

Montevideo, MN(Zone 4a)

Northville, MI(Zone 5a)

Oh I am not getting any work done today and then I happen to find this thread....
I really needed a good laugh today and now my sides are hurtin from laughing so hard. Im sure my co-worker across from me was thinking the cube was going to fall down. (I actually do not make any noise when I laugh but my "fluffy" body just shakes, shakes, shakes.
Im hoping my phone doesn't ring -- just when I think Im done laughing I start back up again....

Have a good day everyone!

Jackson, TN(Zone 7a)

ROFLMBO!! EEEEWWWW, what a horrible sight that would be!!! Too much fluff on my duff!! It would definately give a whole new meaning to a poison ivy rash!! OUCH!

Owen, there are some pictures you had rather not see, TRUST ME!LOL

PEPPER CUTTING, wooo--hooooo, a whole new take on a "HOT DATE"! Don't even want to think about that one.

You guys are so great! I am very happy to have been introduced to this site.

Melissa

Well, I was almost topless the other day. Was going through some pots that I have stored and was leaning over and a grasshopper went down my top. I never moved so fast in all my life trying to get that darn thing out. Was about to rip my top off when it finally got out of there. I said heck with the pots and went and worked inside for awhile.
Talk about somebody doing a funny looking dance, it was me.

I am in tears here, the hot peppers hit me right where I live lol, I will be more careful in the future. I have to sit down to plant and do most of my gardening and I can't imagine having anything crawling up or around my private parts lol. Beside my neighbor in the back breaks his neck to talk to me about nothing when I am sun bathing, I don't want to even think about what he would do if I were in my birthday suite lol.

Owen your so BAD! lol

(Zone 6a)

LOL No, happy_toes, did not get any pics:)

Guess I will just have to cancel the contest. LOL

Hey, I was gonna keep the pics private too.....what more can I do? haha

I just recently joined this site thanks to Melissa. You all are too funny! I almost fell off my chair several times after reading everyones post. When I saw the topic I had to look to what it was about! I'm afraid that I'm not quite brave enough for gardening in the nude!LOL

Louisville, KY(Zone 6a)

Oh KHT, you'll have to try the asoparagus grilled!! It's so yummy, just dont burn it!
Yes Byron, please explain the asparagus patch! I feel there is a story there!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I always wear my birthday suit when gardening! But by popular demand I cover it up with clothes! My Dog is a sniffer and the last thing I need when bending over in the garden to pull weeds is a cold damp nose on my... or my... No thankyou!

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Ooooooo, Zany! No wonder this thread is still very much alive.... the most interesting subject of all! That four-letter word in the subject has done it all. Look at the no. of views. It has triggered great curiosity.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Asparagus. Hmmmmmm. Anyone grow the super male variety? We haven't, but these guys seem mighty proud of their asparagus spears...

What a funny, lovely human bunch you are. I can't stop laughing. I've been lurking.....lol....a peeping tom if you will!!! Hot peppers and sniffing dogs...lolol!! You are all so bad!! I used to sunbathe nude top of my house in Malta and if the helicopters went by then so be it. But no, I could not garden in the all-together!! For one thing, I wouldn't be able to see my toes without the uplift and I would hate to tread on those saddleback caterpillars that got me a couple of weeks' ago. And I know we have snakes here and black widows - so no, sorry I can't join your club.......!

Louisville, KY(Zone 6a)

Hey now Louisa, you sure wouldn't laughing if you had a hot pepper experience!! I can now though...I am glad I am not alone!!!!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Hot peppers huh! That might just put some fire back into the old furnace! :)

Louisville, KY(Zone 6a)

Yeah it'll light your fire all right and you'll be upside down in the tub!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)
