Nude Gardening

Yup, you heard me right!!! LOL Nude gardening and it's link was on my AOL welcoming screen. They say that "....the stress-reducing benefits of gardening are exponentially increased when nude." If you've ever been skinny dipping, you know how great _that_ feels right? That started me thinking... if gardening in the nude reduces stress even more, maybe we should start a nude gardening movement! What do you think? ;-)

Pete, I can just imagine what your boys would think if they brought home friends and found mom weeding the flower bed, BUCK NEKKID. (I wouldn't advise running the weedeater in that state, by the way. Those flying projectiles could really hurt a thing or two.)

Advantages: Reduced Stress..
No muddy clothes


Disadvantages: Exposure to sun
no protection from insects
Complaints from neighbors (depending on your body)
Possible jail time {free room and board but no gardening.


Overall I think the disadvantages just might cause more stress than less! Besides, I don't want to see me so why expose innocent birds and bees to the sight!

I admit the title of this thread made me look.

Well, ya know, someone told me if I want my nosey next door neighbors to quit staring at me while I work in the yard, I should pull down my pants and moon them. Going nekkid would take this idea one step further....

OOPS I forgot to list one advantage...If the Ladies in the area would garden nude my DH would spend a LOT MORE time outside...but on the flip side I still wouldn't get much work out of him!

How about we have a contest to see who the best looking nude gardener would be? You all just send me a nudie pic of yourself (you can take it indoors), and I will volunteer to judge all entries:) Winner will get a sample of BIO-VAM, even if I have to buy it:)

Oh Pete, loved that link! LOL!! Where is the zen state? I thought I knew where all 50 states where. Never been there, do you need to leave your clothes at home to visit? My DH hates to work in the garden, visit or go on garden tours but if I tell him about this new type of gardening he might just become involved. No-way, now that I think about it he'd just sit in the shade drinking ice tea and claim, Honey I'm just watching the birds and butterflies.
Wonder how these nude gardeners get the dirt stains off their (_!_)? I have enough trouble with my hands and knees and I just can't see bleaching one's (_!_)!

Oh, my. The neighbors already think I have a screw loose. Now, if I just strip down to my birthday suit, I can go out into the front yard and sit on my bench. Wait, I can hear the sirens now...

Byron...you have got that right...I have experience the heat from a jalepeno peppers first hand! DH and I couldnt figure out what set me on fire...until it happend the second time around!

I live in the country where I could garden in the nude if I wanted to and no one would see, but the bugs eat on me enough without exposing more skin for them to dine on. Linda

That's okay, Coco. No problem! I'll tell you how I picked my DG name of "Pete2". My maiden name was "Peterson" and all of my oldest, dearest friends have always called me "Pete" since I was a little tyke. My Dad and brother were called "Pete", too. If someone yells "Pete" in a crowded store, I still to this very day turn around to answer them. I don't ever remember my Dad calling me "Terri"...he called me "RePete". LOL!!!

I wonder all the time about some of the DG names and the reason why people chose them. That might make and interesting topic! What cha think? :-)

I am still ROFLMAO over this one..My dogs are looking at me very funny right now..As for the gardening nude, I would love it, except for these darn gigantic southern bugs..It sure would not surprise my hubby, I do most other things nude and in the middle of the night..After 27 years, he's almost getting used to me.. LOL..I do live in the country, they would have run me out of town a long time ago..
