Visit to Pirl's Garden

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Sorry ....sorry ...sorry back after so many days...... We are going to move in the end of Next week and no doubt it is too difficult to move these containers but I ask my DW,s brother to help me because he has a small truck and I think we can do this........
This is Mangle Dam and its area is 100 square kilometers and there is a power station on this dam whoe capacity is 1150 MW , I am working as shift engineer .
We rarely have thunder storm, all the year weather is normal but in rainy seasonwe have lots of lots of heavy rains.
I will post photos when we will move to new home and these Caladium pots have a special place there, Wife of my elder brother asked for few caladium containers but I refused and told her these are from a very very very special person and Pirl knows how much she is important in my life................. because she is my 2nd mother. And mothers are always special..................

I'll try to make this short.
I kept meeting independent artists at Craft Fairs, knew they were from my home town .
One day I took a sandwich and visited my sculpture friend for lunch.
We always worked alone in our studios so it was nice to have someone simpatico to talk to about projects we were doing and show new work for critiques.
I said lets have a potluck lunch next month and invite other artists we know. Good idea.
About ten of us met at my house - - - we talked about how our businesses were going, problems with gallery owners, where to find cheap shipping material etc.
When everyone left, three hours later,my friend (who stayed behind to help w/ clean up) said "I have a headache" I said "That WAS a Loud Lunch"
The invites are stated that way to this day.
We believe it was 1982.
We had a group exhibit two years ago and called it
' The Loud Lunch Painters exhibit"
We pretty much keep the title to ourselves, saves an explanation for something others can't relate to, although other artists have started monthly breakfasts and lunches, Its a great way to network and get important issues covered ,like health insurance thru the local arts council, nice to have a support group like that.

What a cute and apropos name for your group of friends! Having support from friends in the same field is such a joy. There's always an ear you can count on and always someone you can encourage.

I hope I didn’t miss anyone. I’d just like to say what a wonderful group you all are and how welcome you’ve all made me feel. I may not know a lot about gardening but I LOVE the flowers and plants.

Hi Michele!!!!!

Saddle Brook, NJ

The stuffed cherry tomatoes are actually mini BLT.

I crushed some bacon and diced up some lettuce.
Then mixed it with ½ mayo (lite) and ½ sour cream (lite).
Scoop out the tomato pulp and place upside down on a paper towel to drain.
Then stuff the lettuce and bacon mixture into the tomato.
Refrigerate for a few hours.

I use the lite sour cream and mayo to fool myself into thinking it is semi-healthy.
