Southeastern, CT(Zone 6a)

You got some fantastic shots, Kassia. Thanks for posting. It was an absolutely beautiful day hosted by kind, generous people. First time on the ferry for both Kassia and I. Quite an adventure.

I love that piece of drift wood! It's gotta be 8' long.

I'll show some accents:

Wow - fantastic photos of an exquisite garden! Thank you Kass and Nance for posting. Kass, you got so excited you skipped number five! And congrats on your DL. For you it should simply called, '!!!'. Hee hee.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Yes, thanks for posting the wonderful pics. Glad you had a nice day to take the ferry and enjoy the trip. What beautiful gardens!!
don't you just love that bluish lacecap hydrangea? At least that's what I think it is.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, it is a lacecap.

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

Is the huge hosta Elegans? BEV

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

What a delightful surprise, Kassia! Thanks to all who posted. We had a fun party on Saturday and Kassia stayed over and went back with luggage filled to the brim with daylilies, hosta, iris and a rose from Louise (venu).

Jan23 - I have quite a few lace cap hydrangeas - maybe 20 of them and will get more with a gift certificate I've had for a year now. Tokyo Delight is one of my two favorites and Beni Gaku is another - both vying for top spot.

dragonfly62 - it's 'Love Pat'. The eyes grow so tightly together I can't even get a chunk out of it to send to someone who wants it. It's been in the same spot for 15 years.

Love Tokyo. Did you change the pH of the soil?

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

Pirl that hydi is beautiful. Can you tell by my pics if I have Eligans or Love Pat?

No, I didn't. Is it not supposed to be that color? It's what's shown on sites I've seen.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

oooo ...... aaaaaa ..... (repeat)

What a wonderful labor of love ....

Thanks for taking the time to show us a tour!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I couldn't even guess at which one you have, dragonfly. I buy what I love and have forgotten the name of one I like so much I'd buy it again.

Thankyou anyway. I can't wait for my ferns and other plants to fill in some places. BEV

So pretty, Bev. I love the lighter ones with any dark leaved plants to accent the light green color.

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

That is my smaller Guacamole. I have another three times bigger. I am like you if I like one I want more than one. LOL Here is the other one. It has 5 or 6 scapes this year so will take a pic of the flowering.

Mine are huge now. They ring my large J. maple. The deer got a good number of the buds but I still have some left. Just sprayed them again. Nice scent to Guacamole.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Bev I had Guachamole at the old house.
I love it.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the good tips. I'll be on the lookout for it.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Kassia - here's 'Kassia' for you!
