Garden Photos - Part 27
no resemblence to hemp.
I have 3 japanese hydrangeas like yours Victor. I adore them. I'll hafta look up their names and get back here.
ge1836, I found Haight Ashbury in the PlantFiles. It says its a Hibiscus. Nice foliage.
Beautiful pix, Victor. Is that Helenium really that bright? I love it.
Thanks, Dyane. Yes it is. Wish it was in better focus. I'll take another shot.
I always like coppertina and Rozanne and phlox are a great combo!
Thanks, Celeste.
BTW, that H.Moth is so cute...I want to pet him/her, it looks so soft!!
Great shot!!!
Thanks. It's not easy as it moves around very quickly. Does not stay at each flower for long. I would like to set the shutter higher to 'freeze' the wings.
Victor - you're bad!
Thanks for posting the hummingbird moth - I had one on my lilies just yesterday. I took a picture and was going to post asking if anyone knew what it was. I knew it wasn't quite a hummingbird, but didn't know exactly what it was.
Still no hummingbird moth, here, but I've not spent much time in the garden lately---too busy! All the photos were stunners--Pixie---too many gorgeous DL's---Victor--does your fig smell funny? My neighbor had one in her greenhouse, & it smelled like cat urine! Candyce, will bring DL with me to RU--no postage! Here is an eyed phlox, came in a mixed bag.
Haven't noticed any smell.
pretty
Looks like you're getting the hang of that new camera, Victor. Love the hummingbird moth.
Great shots, everybody! Pixie, you continue to have the most amazing variety.
RC - thanks for your patience in letting your pics upload!!
Robin - love the phlox and JoAnn - Wow!
My EE are looking pretty good. They will never catch up to Sherrie's but I like 'em.
EE's for next year for me. I love tropical foliage.
