Thanks! Victor ...... Mine is some kind of Olympus Camedia C-725 .... with .... "Ultra Zoom" ..... (oooh aaah)
It absolutely refuses to capture the violet in my agapanthus, and just shows the blues. Not right at all, and that isn't something PhotoShop can accurately shift.
Garden Photos - Part 27
I agree Victor, my old Camera is a Fugi Finepix A205 and it cost less and had a macro compared to the one I have now.
uuuuummmmmmmm.... no
Need to change the soil pH for that to happen
I know if they are pink and you want them blue, bury a couple of rusty nails under it

For pink, use lots of lime and have LOTS of patience. Nice pics, Celeste. I like all the dark ones and Dream Wizard.
I can't keep up with all these wonderful pics, Victor and Celeste, just really nice shots. Cute little truck too, sounds very useful for you.
JoAnn that is a very pretty pic of 'Fata Morgana'.
Willie nice close ups on "Red" too.
Oh and happy birthday to Peter Rabbit. :)
Candyce - Where is the daylily farm? Have you been?
Pixie - that's a nifty little vehicle there!! Looks like fun to tool around in! I am having fun seeing all of your daylilies, especially now that I have some of yours. Most of mine that I can identify came from you. My permanent sharpie marker washed off most of my tags (arggggh!).......so I'm comparing my re-labels with your pics to make sure I've marked them correctly. What kind of permanent marker with a fine tip really does remain permanent????
Victor - lots of pretty blooms! I'll try to find you a shot of Luna White so you can see what it looks like. Mine has some buds on it, so hopefully the JBs will allow me a flower or two!
Here's a shot of my "melange" barrel.......
Thank you, Willie! Your fishies are gorgeous. I really love Big Blue! Are the orange guys little Koi? Do you have any problem with the herons etc. going fishing?
Nice container, Louise. Koi, Willie?
Victor--Love the honkin red one! lol. I'm still waiting on my Hibiscus to open!
Someone outbid me on all of my Westborne DL's...I worked a 12 hour shift so I couldn't be there to counter bid :-/
I saw the pic of the koi, here is one from the Nat'l arboretum. (Did not know that Koi can live to be about 80 years old, grow larger than 3', and weigh over 50lbs!---all this info was posted at the Nat'l Arboretum around the pond/pool area.)
Some have lived well over 100 yrs! They are a pass down fish. They grow very fast. Mine went from four inches to about 15 in two years.
Thanks DonnieBrook!
Yes, Victor, BigBlue is (I am guessing now) a Koi type know as a Pearle Shusui in the Asagi category ... ??
I am hoping he will stay blue and not turn white (or she, I really don't know)
The rest you see in that picture are common "feeder" goldfish I used to season the pond.
I don't have any trouble with Heron, yet, as this is the first summer with them, and they are quite minute (4-6 inches at best). They don't get spotted just yet, but, when they get 3 foot and 45 pounds, we'll see.
Don't they look freaky, Hemhostaholic, when they get that huge??!??
Here is a shot of (3) of the (6) koi and some of their goldfish pondmates
Big Blue; The white one with the orange head; and you can barely see the tail of a yellow one sticking up from under the rock at the bottom of the picture.
Koi missing are an Olive GinRin and another two orange ones. Everyone is under 6 inches.

My neighbor says that he will see the fish standing over a flushing toilet saying "I lose more masters this way!!!" when I die.
