Pretty funny, Kathleen! Lobes might be a better description of those. I've never tried PS Elements. Been saying I am going to for years. One day.
Garden Photos - Part 27
Sad to say, even with my attempt at resuscitation, it did not make it through the winter. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Sherrie--loved the EE's! Candyce, don't know what the DL is called, but if you want some, you shall have some! Victor, loved the night pics! Jo Ann, you'll have to show me the Photo Shop stuff when I visit--sorry you don't like river birch--my son's in-laws have a clump of purple ones at the farm that are stunning. But they are planted well away from the house! Eleanor, loved the pic of the garden bench--would love to sit there! Here is verbascum Sixteen Candles that looked great at a historic house near here--in my garden, it's a flopper!
Victor I am trying PS Elements free for one month.
It will probably take me that long to learn it.
ROBIN So far it's going OK
I am tempted to go back to the long way of doing things is PhotoShop.6 Elements is much faster .
Cant wait for your visit ,three weeks and counting.
Nice Collage, GE .... and ShickenLady .... That Ellie is gettin' a huge! Looks great in that crock. for sure.
This picture is an Ixora coccinea today I found in the 99¢ bin, not sure exactly which one it is and today sure didn't seem to be a good day for taking pictures true to color.
Here it is up close; sure does seem more coral in person.
Such beauties! Everyone has some great photos to post today.
I was up at 4:30 AM this morning and was able to watch as our daylily blooms opened for the day. When it got light enough, I went out for photos. It stayed very overcast all day long, so the colors in the photos are not quite as vibrant as they could be.
Robindog ~ I'd love part of that daylily. Shall I D-Mail you? I offer to pay for postage. Just let me know how much I should send to you.
Now, here is 'Nanuq'
Those look great
Nice choice of font, too .... very professionally presented
Candyce - those shots are great! I like the labeling. I've been trying to do that with my daylilies, but I have so many NOIDs that don't seem to match any of the photos in Plant Files and I'm not sure who they are!
Sherrie - those are very cool EEs. Mine have gotten off to a very slow start here with all the wet and cool temps. Did you start yours in a pot?
Thanks guys and gals. The task of labeling the photos came to me as I was trying to scrapbook some shots from last year. I still have too many NOIDS to label. (Noid 1 and Noid 2?) But Anna likes the idea of having the photos labeled as the way I usually have things marked in the computer folders is a bit confusing for her.
Louise, you and I will have to take a little side trip to this daylily farm. Perhaps Patti could join us as well!
Louise - I started them in the GH in mid April in a 10" pot. I moved them out in late May, and I put them in a larger pot as the roots had all ready started to show out the bottom. With out measureing the pot they are in now, I would guess they are in a 20" pot.
Its like Thom said - water, water, water and water. Feed, feed and feed. This one pot of ears will take 4 gallons of water a day, easy. As of yesterday it is starting its 7th ear.
