Went to my first round up last year, But my it sure was a great pleasure to meet the people I've been chatting with and well Lurking all around.

It is one of the most exhilerating meetings, I was so nervous.
Once I got there, those nerves faded into dust.
Of course at that time i was still very much mourning for my sister.
(Not many knew this) But the hostess of the roundup Jody, gave me,
a complete stranger, one of the most incredible hugs. I can still feel that hug
as if she just now gave it to me...So touched my heart.

Anyway, moral of my RU story is GO, go and meet your friends, make new friends and enjoy the entire time...

Well, I have been lurking over here...LOL, I am just a touch overwhelemed by daily activities. But on a really good note, Today, got my route plan made, starting at lunch dropping off some package to post office...going to store to purchase wrapping paper, which I finally got to store to buy a gift...Yikes still got to drop that off on way home...tonight i pack cuz, we are hitting the road again. Got to tell you i am most excited as we are having some friends we have not seen in ages join us and spend 2 wonderful days with.

So I shall miss you all and will try and catch up on Sunday evening.

...Duh, boy am I behind or what, Just figured out you all are family, It just wonderful to watch you share and goof around daily, what a way to love eachother up.

LOL little Chi farts! You haven't lived till you have spent the night in the same room with a fat pit bull that you caught DH feeding Red beans and Rice to. Last night was musical to say the least LOL

My ex and I had a kennel once with about 13 dogs. We decided to change their diet to the highest protein dog food.
Don't need no Red Beans and Rice.. Joey. They were playing musical farts all day long!!!

Just got back from the recycle center, man it is hot out there!! I only got one load of mulch, I just didnt want to stand there long enough for him to scoop another load.
LOL Medic seems to have recovered from the red beans, I could have killed DH when I saw him set Zekes bowl on the floor. And poor Medic always gets this really surprised look on her face when she lets one loose, than she turns and looks at her tail like "Where did that come from" She's priceless!

LOLOLOL JoJo, you are priceless... the way you described Medic... I can visualize it ... tooo funny.

I'm back from the big city... and filled up with things to do now... of course, Don hasn't seen the bill yet, but he won't care... I thought I shopped very frugally.

Stacey, the gnomes are so precious. The candle holder will of course be indoors. Sure hope the one with the rake comes alive when we're sleeping, and help me with the yard! As for the little one on the toad stool.. he's more like me..perplexed all the time!

I saw the birdhouse, had to fix it up a little, and the wire basket, then came the chairs shrooms and the other "fairy garden" stuff!!LOL The bookmark was something I say and thought "stained glass-how perfect!!" The pin was an idea I stole from Purp-I got one from her for the choccie box swap and thought-Hey I can do that!! I am glad you liked wverything-I had this all ready for you B4 I even knew it was your Bday!! I am soooo glad you liked it all-if I had known you weren't going to use the bridhouse in a mini garden I wouldn't have broken the stick to make it shorter!!LOL It didn't even occur to me!! I had to repackage it all 3 times to make sure it was the right size box so that nothing got broken!!LOL

It's a Tom Clark, and supposed to have a lucky penny, like in all his pieces. It's a collector's item now. You can start collecting for Zman or even Sterling.
Our dentist has all Tom Clark's pieces I think since the 80's.

Wow he came with a certificate too. He is so cute and look he already found his way to my Spice Rack! I think I'll name him Chef Paul after my favorite chef. Hemay have to find a new home though, my spice rack is right above the stove, would hate for him to fall in a pot of gumbo!

I love Chef Paul Prudhomme, if it's he you're referring to. I learnt to make beef gumbo from him! His sister Enola's a terrific cook too, and I used to frequent her restaurant in Lafayette!

Oh yes Jaye there is only one Chef Paul! I tell you the best cookbook I own is the Prudhomme family cookbook. It has recipes from all 12 of his brothers and sisters and him too of course, but it is without a doubt the best cookbook for real downhome cajun cooling!
I know I love the colors too deborah, Dhats kinda my scheme around the house those nice tobaccoey colors with big splashes of RED LOL, I'm subtley loud!!
