Yea that is weird. I am not sure at what times we have. I have acquired this blessed child, my grandson.
The P & L Daily Chat Thread #2 "buck-buckaw!"
Well get yer boxes and get over here and get the rest of them.. I'm betting there are several more dozen of them on that back wall...You should be set for life....LOL
I'm glad you are feeling better!! You had me worried...
It looks like we have 2, maybe 3 house cats now...Patches and the female calico for sure...We brought them in last night, medicated and fed them, and I have convinced the dogs, as I am Pack Leader, that they are not to kill them...Patches slept with Boo in Jims bed last night, so all is well...LOL
The rest of them are staying down in the barns where they belong... Keeping that hoseing up seems to have worked well...
For future reference (anybody- makes me feel better to hand out remedies) take a long shower or bath and eat some watermelon or tomato with salt on it. Hot weather fruits are the best for restoring electrolytes and we do absorb water through the skin. I got dehydrated working in the shade on a breezy day in Oklahoma. Didn't realize it was 110* out. Had been drinking Gatorade and water all day. Been succeptable ever since.
Don't think taynors got bit quite so badly, but there's always a chance my yapping will help someone...;-)
Good Grief!! It didn't look like that many...There is at least twice that left down there on the back wall, not counting those odd ones in the cabinet...
Farmer D is raking the hay field today..Looks like he is going to bale this afternoon...
I'm going out and get all of the brush cleared up...and hopefully finish that lilac mess and the front cedars...I'd like to get those shrubs moved, but I dunno if I'm up to that or not...LOL

Anyone think it is time to start another thread this one is getting long???????
yeppers, do you want to do the honors?
Hey all we went here http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/885485/
Good morning guys - 9.13 a.m here in NZ.
We came home yesterday after a 9 hour trip to Auckland (big smoke), for a bowls tournament and guess what - 4 new chicks! So out of the one dozen "fertile" eggs I bought from a breeder, 6 were fertile. The rest were clears. One died at 14 days incubation, probably due to the long power cut we had, but the rest are looking great.
Thanks so much for the support. Ready for my next batch now.
Grownut, I haven't followed the thread but sounds like someone thinks the country is boring? Not here it isn't, but we are a very small country. US is so big guess you'd have to travel a long way to get anywhere different? We are surrounded by dairy farms and "lifestylers" (including us) i.e. on small blocks of land 6 - 10 acres upwards. We have a great life, wonderful neighbours, Belted Galloway cattle which I'm breeding as they are classed as a rare breed and now I'm into chooks!
We are hoping to travel to the States in the future - what a wonderful country of contrasts! Have a son in Miami
who I haven't seen for three years.
Here's my babies....
Beautiful babies, Dordles. Thanks for the pics!! I'll answer the rest on the other thread, linked above.
Wonderful hatch rate--power outage or not!
(Oh, yes--they have moved this thread to the link in luvs2garden's post above--these people are so organized!)
