Doe, I will be glad to pay it forward when I get all these babies growing. I will surely pass cuttings along to the hotties that want them! Also I recommend hanging out at some of the forums for plants you are lusting after. The sweethearts that frequent the forums will share. What an amazing place DG is! Congrats on all your blooms! I am trying to just enjoy them and be patient with my brug babies. It is hot and humid here today too! Thank goodness there is a breeze. Well off the go shopping (not the fun kind-groceries), gotta get that done and not procrastinate any longer. My hubby doesn't want to have to eat ramen noodles all week! lol

(Cathy), MO

Kim they look awesome! What kinds are they?

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

It is a NOID : }

(Cathy), MO

It'll be neat seeing what colors etc they end up being.

Hi Hotties! Been out potting and feeding and watering and sweating! Whew! I finally just tipped my head over and ran the hose over it! Peg, you take it easy out there too. Your lavender bed sounds lovely and how sentimental and sweet for DD. I just bought a stargazer lily yesterday, I found out it's my oldest DD favorite! Nice box of hoya's Louise ;) I got a special special pkg last week, too! Thanks for the worm ID. I'm going to spray with Neem or the AS2000 or something, but I need some shade on them first... might miss that window today, I'm pooped! lol and waiting...... ON buds and my first flush of the season,, no sign of flushes, yet. Congrats on yours Kim, she's loaded! Joyce, congrats on your new addition! My BP is putting out a new leaf already! Lovely start, Joyce! TY for sharing... (not for the plant;) I have 3 diff in bud. Antique Lace, my PPnoid and found another loner on Versi and I think she's trying to bring on her show for me. I'm not sure, but I think Alex has a teeny weeny bud, maybe, might be another leaf. Annie, try to check in here a little more often... we might forget you like we did Clemen! :) ;) teehee I love the birdies, too. If you see Delrose from MO over there, tell her Mel and I say Hi. I need to d-mail her about the RU, I can bring some columbine for her, they HB's flocked to mine this spring. They also like my kudzu trumpet vine and hyacinth bean blooms, too. We're glad you came home, lil Hottie! Clemen, gorgeous Passi! and how bout the smell of that triple dat? Any more pink pics? I'm so curious about the color changing back and forth... mine only ever goes white to pink. Okay, to the grocer and then it's R&R. I've worked and played hard, all week. :) Look at this pair of "slugs" I found out there!!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Those are not slugs! Slugs don't have shells! Pretty!

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

:) I know, Doe. :) I love how rugged the purslane/portulaca (I call it rose moss) is. Takes the heat so well. They are closed up now. That even looks interesting.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I have ONE piece of moss rose I planted as just a sprig. It's yellow. It covers a 1 1/2 gal. bucket! I just pit another small sprig out in another bucket that I have full of compost to be, covered with MG mix. Watch it grow! Think I'll take a photo of before, and after!!

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

That would be fun to see, Audrey. Please, do post. I think I shoved 3 plants in that bowl.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Well, I have a brug in with mine, but it's pretty big. I'll post later if I can get them onto the pc!

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Girls.. you have been chatting away today.. figures since I am just getting back home..lol... if I'd been here all day.. ya'll would have been off doing something else..

WOW... we got the lowboy LOADED with mainly daylillies at Tracies today.. some places we doubled them on the trailer.. then we had the bed of the truck loaded up too. WE only got about HALF... of her plants..!... I'm a lil wimped out right now... I think I am just going to lay around and rest the rest of the night.. I'm kinda tired.. course I think I was the oldest there.. lol but this ol gal can still cut the mustard with the best of them..

Kim.. OHH a flush.. WTG!!
Lavender.. what a great box of goodies.. now that's what I like... more bang for the postage..lol
Who's going shopping.. fifi.. was it you? Now I might could drag myself up and go to... hang on .. I'm coming..hehe

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

(Cathy), MO

Everyone I got a note from dahtzu in the mail today. She wanted me to tell everyone she says hi and her computer got hit by lightning. She had to send it in to HP and isn't sure when she will be back online. But is thinking of everyone and sending hugs.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Wow hope they fix her puter soon I hate DG withdrawlal.Glad to hear she is well : )

(Cathy), MO

I think she is worrying about the 2 little brugs I sent her. That they aren't growing enough, etc. When it comes to our babies, we are a bunch of worry warts!!! LOO

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

What do you all have in bloom now? I am zone 5 and want more late blooming plants.

"cooled" off this afternoon...LOL, actually a breeze started and humidity isn't as bad, I don't think.

I only have one brug that the buggies seem to be chewing on. Think I will move it and see what happens.

It is pizza tonight! No cooking too hot. Even in this little town we have a pizza hut.

Went shopping but DH decided to go "with" me.....so I didn't get much shopping down except for some mulch!!
Didn't get to go looking for bargins. I like to find some more daylilies and asiatic or oriental lilies (I don't know the difference) but I like that they are in bloom now.

(Louise) Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

I have alot blooming. My jasmine sambac is in a new flush, lots of annuals still going and rudbeckias and such. My new hibby is going to open in a day or two and my asters are just now starting to bloom.

Bonnie, when I was in florida I saw a portulaca with HUGE pink and white flowers. I think I am going to buy some seed and start some next spring.

Oh, Cat thanks for passing that on, poor Faye.. hope she gets it back real soon. I have hosta blooming, Joyce, lilies, impatients, marigolds, zinnias, black eyed blushy susans, passiflora, morning glories, gerainiums, begonia, hibiscus, canna, water lilies and soon the bruggies and my first ever plumeria and sunflowers... It's so pretty out there! I'm finding sun is becoming hard to get back there, so the bed will go further out into the yard, next year. Drew was laughing at me today. We were talking about getting the basement cleaned up and reorganized. I said we need to move this over there and that over there because I NEED at LEAST one more pallet worth of room for my plants on that side! His pretty eyes widened, and he said "MOM! You are so funny, like we wouldn't move stuff for you to have more room!" He thought I sounded desperate! lol (Still have another 1/3 of that side of the wall I COULD use, just have to have a sale) Beck, I think you are probably a whipper snapper, keeping up with the best of them. Yes they are blooming here when the hosta are coming up. I think they have some that rebloom, I'm not sure. They have really started taking over in parts of the hosta bed and I can't bring myself to just pull em up and discard, but some of them aren't in a very good spot. They will reseed and some years they really get busy sprouting. They are yellowish and maroonish. Not sure if I should dig now or in the spring. They like shade and filtered shade and will take some sun.

Happ, look for slugs. Go out about 11:30 at night and look for them where the leaves have holes in them. I f you have them, you'll see the slime trail shing in the light. (Flashlight!)

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Louise, your gardens are lovely, I really like all the variety!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)
