I wish I could take credit for it but a friend of mine emailed it to me at work. I was laughing so much my boss wanted to read it. It was ok; she’s a baby boomer too. We found it funny because a few of them really hit home.
Everybody! I just cut my first oriental lily blossom of the season - "Satisfaction" It is sitting in a little glass beside me and filling my bedroom with wonderful perfume.
Did I tell you I LOVE oriental lilies (well, any flower with a fragrance . . .)
Too funny! DH just walked in a smelled the blossom - it just about knocked him over.
Oh . . . and to make matters "worse" I just got a catelogue for more lilies! . . . I wonder if I could plant lilies on the terrace . . . ^_^
Honestly, if anyone is in Springfield over the next three weeks, drop by and see my lilies
This morning was bonanza day for me.
I have had one lily here, one DL there for a couple of weeks.
